Gemini and Virgo
Here we have two signs both ruled by the planet Mercury. This planet influences the mind, intellect and communication. And both of these signs have a lot of all those things but they show and share them in different ways. Gemini and Virgo do enjoy one another's company, and will talk at length about anything and everything. There will be arguments though as they rarely agree on anything, but they both appreciate the art of debate so it's all OK! Or is it? Air and Earth don't mix or that well, they try but of course there is no way they can merge and become one. The only thing that they can do is create dust flying around that gets in your eyes. And this is pretty much how their relationship will pan out. They will irritate one another, possibly more than anyone can! The Gemini will wind up the Virgo on purpose as it is easily done, this will infuriate the Virgo who will storm off and sulk. Virgo will hate the messy Gemini ways and lack of commitment to any one thing and long heated arguments will follow. Making up won't be all that great either. Neither likes to admit they are wrong so they may start apologizing but then it could all turn nasty again, especially if the Virgo dares to utter the words "I apologize, but you know that I am right really" because then it will turn into a war. Both parties think on their feet but the Gemini has built in wit and cheek that the poor Virgo just can't keep up with and often gets quite upset.One thing that may hold this couple together is their odd sense of humor. It won't be rare to walk in on these two and find them bent over double laughing their heads off, normally at someone else's expense! It is certainly the more enjoyable part of their relationship that's for sure!

Hi,
I’ve been reading a lot of bad reviews about Gemini-Virgo compatibility on nearly every website. Is it really a bad combination? Could anybody tell me some good points about love compatibility between a Gemini Boy and a Virgo Girl?
Can there be any Virgo-Gemini couple on earth that is 100% satisfied with their relationship?
I hope there must be some exceptions.
Can love really make this relationship work which otherwise according to horoscope and sun-signs is a very bad match?
Are there any other parameters except Sun-sign that influence a relationship?

Hi there Vicky,
Thank you for your comment. The thing with Gemini and Virgo is that they can talk and talk together, and even share the odd joke, but they are such different creatures that although friendhips can occur a long term relationship will be problematic. Gems are like fairies, fliting from one thing to the next, this infuriates the Virgo who is far more methodical in approaching issues, even the messy ones!!
Now if your moons and rising signs are in favour then you may stand more chance, thats why having your natal chart done is always a good idea. Looking at which signs y ou both have residing in Venus is also a very good idea.

I am a Gemini Male. When I noticed the sun-signs of all the girls to whom I got attracted in the past (though I didn’t have any relationship with any one of them - just a crush), the results were surprising. 3 of them are Virgos and 1 is Aquarius.
Now sun-sign compatibility says that Geminis are not compatible with Virgos. Then why I got attracted to Virgos?
I simply find Virgo girls grounded, helpful and nicely dressed. Do we (Geminis) lack these traits? So this a case of “opposite attracts”?
It drives me nuts when I read that Geminis and Virgos are incompatible. Sometimes I feel I shouldn’t care about the sun-signs as all these things are making me crazy.
What do you suggest?

6 years of romance. some ups and downs but thats part of a relationship.. I can say that we are stronger and commited more to each other as the days go by.

I knew a Virgo guy…We got along great in the beginning…we agreed on many things…then down the road we started to argue about everything! It hurt me actually because I thought that we would be such great friends…=/ I used to be able to vent to him and he’d listen and I’d appriciate his blunt honesty and advice…but now I can’t vent to him without getting offended by his responces.. We disagree about everything pretty much…and our opinions and views on things seemed polar opposite now..Why did it seem we had so much in common in the beginning? You see, I’m a Snake and he’s a Rooster…those two signs seem to be very compatible be it friendship or relationshipwise….do you think that, that part of us was what attracted us to eachother in the first place?

My ex-girlfriend is a dragon, and I’m a rabbit. she’s a Gemini and I’m a Virgo. we have so much in common. we enjoy being together and our relationship was good. we had our fights like it says at the descriptions but at the end we were perfect. Now she’s dating an Aries Dog. That’s the reason she broke up with me, and it say there that it’s a terrible match. What do you think?

I have been dating a Gemini for the past 3 1/2 years. Things started off great and personality wise, I was very attracted. Within months we were fighting about little things that led to bigger things. Everything that he would try to say in a non-offensive way always sounded offensive. He says things to purposely upset me, does things he knows will make me angry and takes things away because he knows he could crush me. Sometimes we both sit there and wonder why do we continue to date each other. It’s almost like we think it will work, but maybe we just want it to work? I have lost all faith in us. Its true : The Gemini will wind up the Virgo on purpose as it is easily done, this will infuriate the Virgo who will storm off and sulk. I feel like I’m ready to storm off & sulk…but i just feel there is something more.

hmm… this is true. me & my dad dont get along the best. He’s a virgo monkey and I’m a gemini monkey. we get along almost most of the time, but its like once every 20 minutes he’ll be over critical and point out messes and stuff… that is really annoying to me. I kinda cant stand it. well… my ex girlfriend was a virgo rat. We got along great for a while… we never fought on anything… but we kinda had to keep it a secret… our moms wouldnt lert us date. we broke up after 2.5 months because she couldnt handle the stress. oh-well. yeah our sense of humor kept us attracted to each other. oh-well.

I’m with a Virgo male, our relationship is confusing to the both of us, because me being the flirty, unstable, Gemini, I find it hard to settle down at such an early age, because like you mentioned on another blog about Gemini’s, we are just too energetic and childish to ever want to “grow up”

Is it cold to say that I like upsetting my Virgo man? Yes, I do it on purpose because we Gemini’s find amusement in seeing how others response, their reactions and feelings. It’s like a movie, we are just anticipated and amazed with people’s reactions. We love watching things unfold.
Gemini’s DO hate to say that they were wrong, and even though my Virgo man hates it too, he’s often the one who says he’s sorry.
Over all though, we have a FABULOUS relationship, we love each other to death, we’re always making each other laugh. That’s the thing I love about my Virgo, he knows how to make me laugh. He is so smart too, I love how he teaches me so many things, I’m always amazed with his intellectuality.

I am a Virgo woman and he is a Gemini,we have been together for over 20 years (with kids and grandchildren) and we (yes) have our ups and downs, just like any other couple. Now as far as a flirty one, that is me the Virgo woman. He the Gemini, is more like the mother type. Now don’t think that the Gemini man in not a flirt he is and will admit it but he will also tell you that Virgo woman flirt all the time, which is true. We love each other until death. We still don’t agree on somethings, but I alway win in the end. He is the non-offensive one and I am the offensive one. We both have open minds but I do notice that he will feed off what i say, in which it is funny.But overall we get along just fine.

i have been married to a virgo gal for many years.. and it is hell..( i am a gem male) and its now at the point of all out war to the point i have found a Aquarius lover to satisfy my needs…. AVOID THE COMBINATION AT ALL COSTS!!!
.. so to all of you out there that are questioning this combination.. question no further. Virgo will NOT budge for a second on ANYTHING!!! and Gems are too flexible .. so what you get is a doormat.. and who the hell needs that..

I’m a virgo male who is completely besotted with a gemini female. Can’t get her out my head… how very unhealthy. We are friends currently who laugh and laugh together. I have never paid any attention to astrology, but before i express my true feelings i wanted to get a feel for this potential partnership.
is this something i should pursue? i want to get closure on my thoughts, but am cautious to the gemini female hurting me?
Everywhere i read it says at all costs DON’T, but i have always thought i can make a differenve and that this should n’t matter… what to do?

Hi I’m a gemini woman dating virgo man. We’ve been 3 months now. When I first met him, we connected so well in so many different levels. We talked talked and talked. Now that we’ve been dating I realized that I love to talk but man, my virgo man can really talk me to death. When I don’t feel like talking or listening, he talks all the time.
I love him to death but he can be very selfish and critical even when he doesn’t act perfect. He’ very messy but he calls me messy and clumsy. He complains that I can’t just sit still and relax which I guess is true.
It made me really nervous when I got into an astrology and saw that he and I weren’t supposed to be compatible. I even thought of breaking up with him because of that. I just get really insecure and thinking that I’m just not good enough for him…

i am girl how hate boys in all ways and no one can understand me in any ways they tell i am stupid when i tell about my view about life but when i meet a person and he is vigro and he is totally understood me in all ways he is the only person who can tell what i feel and understands me very well and things are fine between us as the day passes our relationship and commitent gets stronger and stronger as even gemini cant express what they feel and vigro also have the same problem it makes us cum near to each other and makes feel lot more comfortable and as gemini doest always see to the dept of the life vigro is always there to help them to learn the dept of life. vigro people are quite moody types and gemini people teach them to take it easy and enjoy life. and if we know the dept of life and even know how to enjoy it there is no problem in relationship
and as communitcation between use is always good and as we both are opposite we make up a good pair and we balance each other negatives and positive
and make life interesting a relationship between gemini and vigro wont be boring forever

I am Gemini (husband is Virgo) we happen to work out. I do not know if it is because I am a more grounded Gemini…or he is a less-grounded Virgo. Both of my parents are Virgo’s, so I had plenty of time to get used to how Virgo’s think and react to things. Yes, our life at first was quiet chaotic…but something that we both are excellent at doing is communicating. We talk out our thoughts and feelings very effectively. We also both married later, rather than earlier. I don’t think I would have settled down in my early 20s if I had met him…but I met him at 25 years old…done with school and my adventures. I was ready by then.
I think some decans work better than others. I am a June 11 Gemini. My type is more dedicated and less likely to run from one project to another. I can only assume if I were like a normal Twin, my husband would have run away screamig by now ;-).

I am a Virgo woman hopelessly in love with a Gemini man. He is the most exciting man I’ve ever met… so sensual, very intelligent, so verbal - what a turn on! We both are very, very sexually compatible. He even wants to invite another man with us to satisfy me while I satisfy him. I guess that’s the twin coming out in him - dual everything. He is very afraid of being hurt or hurting others. He has inferred he loves me and I have told him I love him. I think this has scared him and feel him pulling away. I am a Virgo female and have been dating with a Gemini guy for 11 months. He is really driving me crazy. i have explicitly told him i love him and all but though he do implicitly said so but I always feel the doubt. I dunno whether i shld believe all this zodiac signs… but i know gemini-virgo is never a good combi. But he is the first gemini guy that makes me so crazy over him. i have totally no idea what i should do to “tied him down”. doubt i can do that. but being virgo, i need to feel assured, settled, which geminis will most probably never be able to do so.

I am a virgo female and I dated a Gemini male for six years, on & off.
He always thrived off pushing my buttons
He was very disorganized and it drove me to be less and less attracted to him.
We lasted for a long while because we both loved each other & the sex was amazing but he always had these phases where the
“the grass is greener on the other side.” He always broke up with me and I always took him back (I was the doormat)
In the end, he broke up with me and though I am dating someone else he still wants me back.
He was into mind games & dominence.

I dated a Gemini for three years and we always had in-depth conversations that started out great but led to fights that were never resolved. Things would pile up. I’ve never been out with any Virgo, i’ve had two Virgos take interest in me, the first one didn’t make me feel calm or give me the space when i desperately needed it, i have anxiety problems.. i know its not a shocker! haha but i was having a panic attack, i needed to escape (which happens to anyone having a panic attack)and everyone time i looked around he was right next to me, not cool.
the other Virgo was very manipulative good and bad(which i obviously saw through)i told him where to stick it(In the most inpolite manner ever! haha) so yeah he doesn’t speak to me anymore, god knows why?! hahaaha
Are virgo’s generally Manipulative though?
its come to my attention that quite a few Virgo’s tend to try to manipulate people (good and bad) My sister does it ALOT and is also is a control freak, i don’t get along with her at all!

A gemini man and a virgo woman who happend to be friends during their high school days, have met after 13 years and got married after six months of going steady.
