Leo and Capricorn
This is a very strange match indeed. Capricorn is known for being conservative and preferring traditional over modern, they prefer less to more and are always looking for a bargain and can end up spending nothing rather than over spending. The Leo on the other hand is quite the opposite, luxury is the Lions style, and as far as they are concerned everything should come in generous quantities else what’s the point? So you see these differences may lead you into thinking that these two very extraordinary yet different people are total incompatible. And you would be right, but not always.
If you know a couple such as this they probably won’t be able to tell you why they are together or what attracted them in the first place. It is like an invisible magnet drawing them together and even though they may disagree on everything from the type of cat food to buy to which channel to watch they could not be without each other. Very strange. There is one thing holding them together though, one thing that bonds them and makes them stay with one another and that one thing is loyalty. Both Leo and Capricorn take their relationships very seriously and are inspiringly loyal to one another. This of course is a very important part of any relationship and when you have this I suppose that the fact you don’t agree on which colour carpet to buy fades into insignificance. When this union works it lasts.
In the bedroom Leo will adore the sweetness of Capricorn and likewise the Cap will approve of being made a fuss of and it may be one time when there won’t be any moaning about how much the champagne and strawberries cost. All of the above is pretty much true, though you may want to add that Leo creates quite a problem with the Capricorn’s bank account. I never really liked this combination because I think Capricorn deserves someone more refined and well organized than a Leo. There are those cases where Capricorns can’t stand Leo’s flamboyance, but they don’t seem to mind it since they’re so busy with work, or whatever. Maybe it’s because Leo brings fun into Capricorn’s rather boring nature.

The Capricorn male I was with for 2 years did not work out. Unfortunately, love just wasn’t enough. Personalities were completely different and the way each of us handled our problems was nowhere near a compromise. He made it all about me, me, me.Literally. I should’ve known…

The Capricorn is very unemotional, relatively unromantic as well. They tend to put their jobs and their hobbies above their romantic partners. They tend to become distant when under pressure which Hurts the Leo’s ego. They take a break up as just something else in their life they had to endure- as merely a stepping stone. Nothing can crack thee emotional barrier they put up around them. They rarely show affection or give the leo the attention it craves. this speaking of experience- i am a leo female and i dated a male capricorn for over a year. He was always Loyal and we never found out the reasons towards the inital attraction-it just occured. Nintendo, I can understand your frustration with Capricorn’s lack of emotions, but, believe me, they do have them. It just takes patience. A lot of it (and this is coming from a Taurus). They have problems with showing affection, and it’s up to the other partner to give it. Over time, though, with good aging and a good career (yes, they’re workaholics) they become the romantic and affectionate, even playful people you’ve always wanted them to be. Starting a family with them helps, as they love children, but only if they’re theirs. It’s fascinating to see this transformation.
But Leo needs this Prince Charming immediately and will wonder where he is when she wants her regular dose of love and attention.

I am a Capricorn male & I am married to a Leo. We have been together now for 4 years (anniversary on the 28th of Dec) and we have been married now for around 18 months. I think the compatibility description for Capricorns and Leos above is spot on, as I cannot honestly say what attracted us to each other either especially since we met on a dating site so I guess one answer may be that we had the same long term goals in life alhough that makes me sound like a cold Capricorn! The truth is, I fell madly in love with my beautiful leo the moment we met & I know that I never made any effort to hide this as I almost pushed my partner away I was so OTT! & I can still honestly & without hesitation say that I am still madly in love & make this known every day, we have had our rough spots lately but I know we are going to make it for the long haul & neither of us can ever imagine being apart.
I agree with many characteristics that are placed on each star sign but I also very strongly believe that we are shaped from birth by our environment & the experiences we each have. I was brought up in a very loving & nurturing environment where I was free to express my emotions & I was taught to let love be known & to give affection to those you love every day of your life.

I am a male Leo in a love with a female Capricorn. We are deeply in love. To me she is the best of what I have met. It is true that Leo and Capricorn share many differences, but it does not mean that they can’t be in love or live together. It all depends on how strong the love is. She has features that I admire, and I have some features that annoy her. I found that I can’t live without her. So I decided to change. I am a Leo woman in complete love with a male Capricorn. Not to mention that my ex is also a Capricorn. In my opinion, these guys are the best sign of the zodiac. I totally appreciate the qualities of a capricorn. As a Leo woman, I can be “over the top”. My cap definately helps me to keep it all into perspective. Where I am quick to jump into something, he is leary and inspects “everything”. To me, this helps to create balance. His ability to focus on his career helps me to focus as well. Leo’s can get so caught up in “love” that a lot of things can go without notice. My cap is very loving, spoils me and is very affectionate no matter where we are. We have our differences, but I respect my Cap’s opionion and vice versa to where at the end of the day we are ok with it. Loyalty and committment is the key here, everything else can be adjusted.

i’m a leo female involved with a cap male. i adore this man! it took quite a while for us to actually become a couple (ill timing) but he was worth the wait! caps only appear unemotional, cold, aloof because that’s how they seem to protective their true sensitive selves. mine also gave the impression of pure confidence but deep down i know he felt somewhat unworthy and insecure. he was afraid of being vulnerable because that meant he left himself open to being hurt. even though we were drawn together by super-natural magentic forces, we know exactly why we love each other. we are able to appreciate the vast differences between us. we both complete and compliment the other. we inspire and encourage each other to be our best. we also put our all into the relationship. we love each other wholly and accept each other as is. the only thing that we have to work through is his jealousy problem. i’ve always had mostly male friends because of my interests and hobbies. if i happen to bring one around him that is both straight and good looking he gets all quiet and acts uncomfortable. he also gets this look of disgust if another male gives me any attention (which unfortunately happens almost every single time we’re out together). regardless, he’s one of the most loving, romantic, beautiful people i have ever met in my life. we are profoundly connected. i wouldn’t change a thing and i have no regrets!

As a capricorn female I believe that the differences between the two signs are most likely to be seen with the leo female male capricorn combination. It is in the basic nature for women to be more romantic and for men to be slightly more detached. Or at least I hoping this is the case as I have been attracted to this male leo for some time ; )

I am a Capricorn woman now dating a Leo man. At first I was attracted to him as a friend but later, let my gaurd down and now I am madly in love with him. He, on the other hand, knew that he could be with me from the first day we met. An odd attraction, but its worth it. We do have are differences, but thats ok as long as we can work towards a positive outcome. Our love is so strong that we both are willing to adjust and thats what keeps any relationship going. Actually, the strongest marriages, and indeed the most famous, are between Leos and Capricorns. Look at Leos and thea signs they marry the most are Capricorns, Librans and Geminis. (notwithstanding other Fire signs) I get tired of reading that they are incompatible, but they are different, in fact, true opposites. Capricorn is the only sign that cannot be overrun by a Leo and Leo appreciates the Capricorn loyalty, stability, honesty and strength. This is because Saturn faces the Sun straight on. Leos may be irritated by Capricorn caution, depression and reservation, but they do help and support each other and they are fantastic in business together. Ask a Leo who it is that really got under their skin love wise, and it is probably a Capricorn, rightly or wrongly.

I am a leo man married to a capricorn woman we are together for about 17 years before we got married my cap dont show no love, no emotions, no affections and things is getting worse rather than better some days iam depressed she spend most of her time on chatline rather than spend time together i call this abuse, this type of abuse can cause a lot of health problems so i believe that one day our marriage may come to an end some cap and leo works not mine iam hafe crazy already.

Hey, I am a Leo woman and I have to say that every man that I have ever been STRONGLY attracted to (as in I can’t get him outta my system) has been a Capricorn. Honestly, I cannot explain the attraction, because Leos and Capricorn or so very different. (I will admit I do find the quiet reservation of a Capricorn a turn on)
My husband is a Capricorn and boy is he STUBBORN, DISTANT, and CRITICAL. However, he is HONEST, COMPASSIONATE, KIND and HARDWORKING.

i am a lady cap and im totally in love with the leo guy. At first i didnt notice him as we get along with group of friends but suddenly i like him , im attarced to him and now im in love with him. Sometimes im confused because he annoys me at sometimes i feel neglected but when im confronting him, he is just protecting me.. My boyfriend and I connect on every level. He is a Capricorn and I the lioness. It may be because we come from similar backgrounds or just the plain fact that we are meant for each other. We don’t disagree on anything. Although I do believe in Astrology, at this point in time, Astrology can not be anymore misleading about Capricorns and Leos. There is never a dull moment between us. It is said that Cap’s are very laid back, ’tis true, but my boyfriend is also very outgoing and fun loving. He does not mind to spend money, and it is said that we Leo’s love to spend money. I agree that a Capricorn female, Leo male combination is one of the strongest in the zodiac (Barack - Leo/Michelle - Capricorn Obama). Leo and Capricorn are drawn to one another like magnets. My Capricorn husband and me have been together for the last 8 years now ( four of which are married), and i can vouch for the fact that I could never have lived happier with anyone else.
We do have our share of misunderstandings and arguments, and I am still the carefree lioness and he the ever critical goat, but we cannot imagine life without each other. Since we’ve met, our natures have rubbed off on each other in the sense that he has become more open, accepting and optimistic, while I now have my carelessness kept in check. yes its true we have our differences [hence the off and on part..]
he loves to spend luxuriously but im on the other extreme end.. but being with him, he really taught me to have fun, let go and enjoy life!! and being a lion, he is really protective over me. sometimes i consider it as jealousy!! personally i dun think capricorns are cold.. we just need time to open up ourselves until we’re really secure and stable in a relationship..

the balance is just reight between leo and capricorn as theres abit of everything:exciment,concern,hard work,livleyness etc.

I am a female capricorn and I am madly inlove with a male leo. The attraction was intense yet a subtle union. Leo men are very charming and attentive to the woman of his interest. I am a Capricorn women married to a Leo man, I’ve always had a strong attraction to Leo men and this is my second long term relationship with one, but to me, things seem opposite as far as emotion is concerned, I do keep things to my self but well let you know if asked, but both Leos I’ve been with I’ve had to pick there brain to get there feelings and emotions to show unless I was on my way out there door witch happen with both men. My Husband and the guy I dated were both secretive and it drives me crazy! I’m a very open person with whom I feel comfortable, so this makes me feel as if they didn’t feel comfortable with me and was counting down the days until we part. I am a Leo married to a Capricorn.
Before we were together, we were both fiercely independent. Neither of us believed that we would ever have a deep relationship with anyone. In fact, neither of us was looking for a relationship and yet, some strange force brought us together. And believe me, it was force because when we first met, we hated each other. Now, it is extremely painful to be apart. We are entirely emotionally dependent on one another. We were two separate people, but now I don’t know if anything can sever our relationship.
Astrologers need to rethink this one. At first, Capricorn and Leo may not be compatible because of their different temperaments. I know from experience the unnatural strength of such a relationship.

Im a female capricorn in an on again off again relationship with a fiery leo. The reason I think (some) of us female capricorns have issues in relationships with these male leos is because the roles of nature/nurture are reversed. If any females are like me, we can be cold, emotionless, and reserved. Thats not female traits. The problem is we are VERY emotional, so it tends to bother us when we can’t do those things. The flip side is the leo males need lots and lots of attention and to be doted on and stroked, not usually a male trait either. And want to talk about emotions and feelings that most of the time we can take care of internally. So it causes the problems. In the rant, I think it’s a BIG communication problem, and thats the main thing that makes relationships work. If the cap can learn to let loose and the leo learn that it takes time, the relationship will flourish, because neither is going anywhere once locked in lol

Well. Im a Capricorn and my boyfriend of 2 years now is a Leo. NONE of this is true with him neither I nor our relationship. I am NOT conserative. And I can careles about traditions. My boyfriend isnt’ rich. I think I have a lot more than him so he doesnt live a “luxious” life. I do. And i LOVE spending money:D. So I dont look for bargins and cheap stuff. I’m a Capricorn girl who is currently involed with a Leo guy. We met through my close friend 4-5 years ago and my first impression of him was “OMGAHLY stunner much” but he was practically crowded with girls so i got to my senses and left it. He was just one of those guys who you’d look at and be amazed but you dont do anything about it.
After a few months we started to chat alot and then phoning and txting and we became real close friends. At first i was intimidated and thought carefully of what to say to him, but as time progressed he turned out to be a really emotional guy LOL which i loved. He was the complete opposite of how i saw him the first time we met. He loves his family esp his parents (how cute) lol he spends more time with his family than actually going out with his friends, and his longest relationship is 2 years and 6 months. Thats pretty damn good i’d say. ANYWAYS he just amazed me =)and to top it off HE HAS A KILLER SMILE ! gahh.
Just can’t believe out of all the girls he could’ve chosen from, he chose to be real close with me. YAYERRRR ! oh and he’s keen in school and studies hard. We’re always silly together and have silly arguments nothing serious, dont think he’d ever do something so bad to make me mad at him and i wouldnt either.

I am a leo male in love with a cappy female. This relationship is definitely the purest definition of loyalty one could ever find. She definitely has more finesse to her work ethic and career path. I’m more of a shock and awe and go on summer vacation kinda guy. Fortunately her ideas of what are classy and important are most the time equal to my ideas of what’s cool and exciting. We do have some financial kinks to work out, but hey it’s a recession, who doesn’t. I am a leo woman dating a capricorn male
It is very true that we dont know exactly what attracted us to eachother and now i still wonder “why are we together”. But when it comes to seperating its so hard and there is a bond that keeps us together.
I love my bf, i love his confidence, hard work adn he knows how to have fun maybe alittle to much and that can be due to his nature as being so serious that he wants to try the opposite and be open and enjoy life which is great because he is not always serious and dull.
Me on the other hand am easy going, open minded and we just are attracted to eachother and I love his respect for me and I respect him in return
I have read that this combination is the worst in the whole zodiac signs but I disagree.

Leo woman should learn to not be shy and reserved around their caps. Since the cap is understanding let him know what you like(more attention, more sex..) and in time they will perform.
As we all know good things take time to make and this is a great example for a great relationship to last its going to take time.
Gemini and Sagittarius guys were all over me after first couple of dates and wanted me take thigs seriously and that vreaked me out as a leo woman because for me its important to get to know eachother first. And thats what impressed me about my cap, that he took his time to get to know me and gave me my time and space to figure out what I wanted. The sex is great, at times the cap can be less dventurous than the leo. Im a Cap female dating a Leo male, and I have to admit, while I have to admit that some of the characteristics hold true for both of us (hardworking and ambitious) but for other aspects its seems as though we’ve switched places. Im the one who can’t control my spending for the love of fashion adn designer brands and he is the one who only shops at Marshalls! And as far as showing emotions go, I have never been scared to make the first move (as I did with him) and am always upfront about my feelings. He is affectionate too, but I don’t think as much as I am. And he can be very wishy washy seeming totally smitten with me one day and then offstandish the next. I thought that Leos are supposed to always know what they want? There are other complicated technical factors in our relationship that are out of our control, so I believe that our relationship will very soon come to an end, but he didn’t seem like the typical leo to me so I did his birth chart and he is a Leo-Sun/Aries-Moon/Gemini in Venus and I am a Cap-Sun/Libra-Moon/Scorpio in Venus. Can anyone tell me how much the other signs in your chart come into play? Is it alot, a little or does it depend on the degree of the location of the sign? He also mentioned to me on many occasions that his brother is also a Leo and they are complete opposites (his brother is reserved and settled down at a young age). I’d really like to know if anyone is an expert on this!

I’m a Leo male. I’ve been in a few serious relationships from 13 to 24. One lasted almost 2 years but while we were loyal, it was puppy love at best, other than that, my other relationships were just well, bad…..each time I got cheated on and its really affected my esteem.
My girlfriend is a Capricorn female. We haven’t known each other too long but when we first met it was like BAM…we spoke for 5 hours. After that I’d find myself always thinking about her when she wasn’t around and then wondering “WHY the HELL are you thinking bout a woman you just met?!!” Eventually we got to flirting and the walls we both have put have just come tumbling down. Finally things came to a head and we had a heated argument and decided to just lay the cards on the table. I wanted her. She wanted me. We were just both scared the other didnt feel the same. We both didnt realize how much we loved each other back then and to be honest I don’t think we ever will. I guess the best way I can put it is she’s…..like my air. Just thinking of not being with her…..not seeing her or hearing her voice….well it’s almost like being trapped in this small ass glass box full of stagnant air and then it being under 1o,ooo leagues of water….it’s like slow agonizing death….
She was in an unhappy relationship at the time we met….the guy just didn’t treat her the way a woman should be treated and it still shows sometimes and it pisses me off to be honest. How can EVERYONE AROUND HER not see what a great woman she is and also ignore her!?!? She’s so damn beautiful, stunningly so in fact,…but yet no one has really told her so. She’s got a heart of diamond, gold doesn’t do it justice. At first, she was reserved about her emotions but about the time we became a couple that changed, she’s really letting her emotions out which I’m happy to see cause she was worried she didn’t have a heart when we first started talking.
In a way, we’re not like the typical Leo Capricorn couple, and then in a lot of ways we are. We’re both stubborn. I’m free-spirited and overzealous and younger and will do ANYTHING to make her laugh and smile….oh she;s got the best smile ever…. while she’s laid back and financially sound, she likes to save which is a good trait, but causes her to stress when she spends money. We’re like the yin to each others yang and that’s why I think the combination is so hot and dynamic. It’s like unbridled unadulterated uncontrollable desire for each other. We bring out the best in each other.
I have to tell you, in all the relationships I’ve ever been in I’ve never felt like this. If we get angry and have a fight we have to come back and talk it out right away, in old relationships, I would let them cool off a few days before talking to them…we can’t stand going more than a few hours without talking. She can frustrate me sometimes but oh man, that just makes me love her all the more. A lot of yall said it’s like a magnet and you can’t explain what ya’ll are doing together. I know what brought me and her together: love,a strong touch of destiny, and the heart to be willing to be so open with each other when it could’ve meant rejection for one or both of us. In a lot of ways we both feel inconfident, and we both stroke each other’s “egos” if you will. I don’t think its actually stroking each others egos, I think it’s just we love what we see and feel.
In conclusion, I say you can’t base a relationship around signs. There are exceptions to the rule, Leo males who may not be emotional, Capricorn females who may be emotional…. there’s no absolute and nothin is etched in stone. In the end it all comes down to loyalty, love, honesty, compromise and passion. Since meeting her, I’m becoming the man I want and need to be. If you happen to read this, thank you my Heart. As you can probably tell I’m a pretty lucky gal.
In fact I feel like when it comes to love right now I’m a millionaire.
When I met my Leo I was in an 8 year relationship with an Aries male and very unhappy. I had been for a long time and had been questioning what to do. I wasn’t looking for love but suddenly my Leo came along and from the first time we talked I felt a connection that grew stronger every day. I found myself looking out for him and hoping he would come online and would feel my heart beat faster with excitement and joy whenever he did. I knew from day one I was in big trouble here, that my life was going to change.
Soon it got to the stage where I just couldn’t hide how I felt, and I was scared that I was just imagining that he felt the same way. I admitted my feelings and sat back with my eyes closed as I braced myself to see what his reply would be only to find my hopes were realised when he said he felt the same.
I ended my relationship soon after with no regrets, and now I’m with someone who makes me happier than I’ve ever been before. Someone who wants the same things out of life. Someone who’s everything I was searching for but thought I’d never be lucky enough to find.
Being a Capricorn though I still have my times where I doubt I deserve this, or think that it’s too good to be true. But so far things have only gotten better every day.
As many have said there’s a lot of passion in a Leo/Capricorn relationship - and sure that means fighting sometimes. But the main thing is we both love each other too much to let differences come between us and we’ve found that because of that fights are easily sorted out. But also when I’m talking passion I mean sexual attraction. The moment I first saw him I was just blown away by the strongest physical attraction I’ve ever felt, and whats funny is that he’s totally not my usual type. But I think maybe that’s why this works so well - we are both totally not what the other would normally go for, so it’s like we were looking for love in the wrong places.
Anyway, that attraction just grows stronger all the time.
Basically I’m happier than I’ve ever been, and I think our personalities compliment each other really well. He really brings me out of my shell and makes me bend my structured ways a lot and I’m grateful for that.I’m grateful to have him in my life. I can honestly say I’ve found the man I’m going to marry, and I never thought I’d get married. I had no interest in doing so before now.
So ignore all those compatibility things that say Leo and Capricorn don’t work. They can and do work!

I have been with my boyfriend for almost two years. I would have never thought that i would be with him, but as i got to know him i just fell in love. He is so loving and caring, and even though I am a capricorn and he is a leo, our bond is unlike any other. We do have disagreements and we have to do a lot of comprimising, but that’s what you do in a relationship to balance everything between you and your partner. He is my rock, and i have to admit that capricorns find it hard to open up because of our fear of being hurt. But once we see that you are really ginuwine and really have our best interest at heart, then everything will be copacetic. Leo’s and capricorns make a very good team and even though we are different that is what draws us together.

My father is a Cappie, and he is not comfortable with deep feelings or emotions. I know he loves me though. He showed his love by working hard to support us financially and now that I’m grown, he cooks for us and buys us desserts. I have learned to accept my Dad the way he is. I dated a Capricorn/Aquarius, and the Capricorn part manifested itself in his strong work ethic. He refused to leave a job that he hated and always complained about. He could be aloof and look at me like I had stepped in a turd. But when he let his guard down, he was the most adorable person on the planet which kept me going back over and over again, despite the crazy, irrational Aquarian side that came out in tirades from stored up anger. In general, I think the Leo female needs more affection and adoration than the reserved Cappie male is willing to provide.

This is the second time around that I am talking to the same Capricorn male. I made the mistake of leaving him the first time and I took him for granted. He is a very good man. As of right now, he has a lot on his plate, family, work, and just life itself. When I feel like he doesnt show interest/affection, he says he doesn’t expect me to understand his situation(s). I know that other women have walked away from him because of his cap ways and i DO NOT want to be one of those women. I am trying to be there for him but he’s become withdrawn, not as responsive, not affectionate anymore. At first he talked about taking things really slow which is what I want as well. But it’s becoming so frustrating because I just want to make things better. I don’t want to be in his face too much that it will push him away but I want to be around still. I want this to work soooo bad. But this waiting patiently thing is frustrating for me. I told him I’m here for him and I support him in everything, he can always come to me if he needs someone to listen to. Is that enough? I don’t know what to do.

I am a Leo Male,..who has fallen madly, can’t breathe sometimes, my throat hurts kinda, deeply in love with a Capricorn Male, We met very briefly out one night at a bar…And we’ve been together ever since! ;)I agree with the loyalty part of the description, we take our relationship very seriously even though its still in its begining stages.. Neither one of us likes to put ourselves in situations where we would compromise that. As a capricorn, he is very nit picky.. and he constantly has to be in control of things or else he feels its not being done properly, like drving, or the laundry. Why argue with that? lol. But it can be a bit annoying, he also hates it because he always thinks i’m keeping secrets from him, and when he gets upset he shuts down…but the good thing is that we both balance each other out completly..when i’m with him, my leo ego is in check and I find myself able to admit when i’m wrong about something without feeling like i’m being defeated..with him its not a game..or a compitition.. I also disagree about the post saying capps are cold and distant! my cappricorn man is hot! haha, he always wants to kiss me and hold me and tell me how much he loves me..he showers me with adoration, and when it comes to finances, we work our problems out together…i’m the one with the job actually, but he wont let me pay for anything for him..at the end of the day, all it comes down to for us is that; the key to a good realationship..is finding someone who is interested in all the little, insignificant things…its about finding a person who finds your life, something worth sharing..

I am Capricorn and my Leo boyfriend and I get on extremely well. He hardly ever spends much money, unless it’s on me. I always spend money, if I have it. It burns a hole in my pocket. We are both very similar. He is very protective of me, but he doesn’t get jealous because he knows I love him. He has never once initiated an argument and is very romantic. HERE IS A PAIR THAT REALLY WORK!!!:
I am a Capricorn female married 16 years to my amazing Leo husband. We are so close in our relationship that we frequently joke about “being in the same brain”. He thinks it and I say it. Our marriage is probably the strongest one we know of and we are constantly being asked by others what our secret is. I don’t know if there is a secret but much of what I’ve read on this site is true. We are both fairly typical of our respective signs. I guess firstly we treat each other as equals. He learned early on that I will not tolerate being “little womaned” but by the same token I have learned to relax and let him “be the man” and discovered that it is wonderful not having to be the boss all the time. He makes the majority of our household income but I am the one who handles the money. I pay the bills and keep track of our savings and am most comfortable in this role whereas he is so relieved to not have to keep track of all that stuff. It is like where one of us is weak, the other is strong (and that goes for emotions too). I frequently have the “big idea” and then he will have the skills that I don’t to make the big idea happen. We work wonderfully together and I am fond of saying that we learned early on how to “row in the same direction together” therefore our canoe glides nearly effortlessly through the waters of life.
We are always honest with each other (I’m the “brutally” honest one as that’s just my Cappi nature) and we always lay all the cards on the table. If we fight, and that is very rare, we stay on topic, we do not call names or become abusive and we always resolve things before going to bed… even if the resolution is to agree that we disagree. Being mad at each other is almost physically painful at this point… we just can’t stand to stay mad at each other as that’s the worst punishment there is and we won’t condemn ourselves to it. We always make up quickly.
Another interesting thing with us is that we are both hilarious people. We both have totally far out senses of humor and our first 3 dates consisted of us sitting in the car in a parking lot telling funny stories about ourselves and laughing until our ribs ached. So yeah, this Cap n Leo set laughs A LOT!!! We have both said that we could never have been with someone who couldn’t see the humor in things. (This is really important to me because while I am a funny person I also become moody and depressed when I start taking all the minutae of life way too seriously. Essentially I tend not to flourish when left to my own devices and it’s pretty hard to be funny and laugh a lot all by yourself. I need to bask in the sunny warmth of my delightful lion. He is the balance I had always craved.)
We love each other fiercely and either one of us would gladly give our life to save the other knowing full well the other would not thank us for it if it meant one of us would continue on alone. We *always* have each other’s back and we have an enormous amount of respect for each other. My uber-leo is also infinitely patient with me. I had deep emotional scars from a traumatic childhood and also prior failed relationships and it took us *years* to sort through all that emotional baggage and he never wavered. The surprise came when it turned out he had baggage of his own but being the Leo hadn’t wanted to admit to any weakness. We worked through that as well and I let him know every single day that chinks in the armor or no, he is my hero. He really is. We’re 16 years into our marriage and I still absolutely melt when he gives me “that look”.
Anyway Cappi/Leo unions may not *usually* work (and given other Caps and Leos I’ve known I can certainly see why) but I’m here to say that when the chemistry IS right… baby look out! We hit the jackpot of love! ^_^

Well Well. I can agree with alot of you about this whole “Leo and Capricorn” thing LOL. I am a male Capricorn and ive been with my Leo for over 7 months now. we met a night before valentine’s day 2010. it’s been up’s and down’s but for the most part and what counts the most, Leo will have your back no mater what! and will be there for you. They have there ways and so does The Capricorn. We are #1 hehe

I am a Capricorn /Aquarian cusp with a Descendant in Leo.. can anyone tell me if my partner should be a Leo? (My VENUS in Aquarius is on the ascendant and Uranus is opposite it in Leo) I have found it difficult to have long term relationships, although I am very friendly and confident and love people. It seems that the most solid and successful marriages and partnerships have been Leo and Capricorn and nearly every Leo I know is with a Capricorn. They moan about each other’s differences but there is great affection. Any clues how to get my own Lion?

if YOU found it difficult with Leos, it doesnt matter what other people do. Im a leo female and found it difficult being with Cap men. VERY many differences between them. But, in the end its all comes down to love, compromise, attraction, and desire to be faithful to this one person for a long time.

Im a capricorn female and very much in love with my leo husband. We’re typical except where it comes to money, we are exactly the same. We love a healthy savings account and are careful where we spend our money, however if I wanted something he’d say ‘go for it’.
Years ago a girlfriend set us up by having bbqs at their house. I found my leo scared off every other male hanging around me, he was loud and arrogant. I stayed away from him for 3 bbqs and two months later we started dating. I was upfront about alot of baggage I was going through so he could make an informed choice to continue or not. My wonderful leo took my hand and has’nt let it go. If he doe’nt like me wearing something he’ll let me know, if I think his behaviour is inapropriate I’ll let him know. His roar used to send me to tears, now I create space where he prefers to contiue the argument. He misses me 10min later. We always accept each others apology. I am a worrier, he is my ray of sunshine. He finally understands that as organized as he is I am better, as a team working on projects we are amazing once he lets me lead. He is a wonderful father, the kids love playing and hugging him. I am the one who keeps them in routine and disiplines when they need it.He is a very hard worker but refuses to move when he is having down time, he loves to be pampered and cooked for. His compliments are so sincere you feel like a master cheif. In bed over the years I have come to find him my best and worst lover, mostly he is lazy and wants me to do everything with minimal effort from him. Then oneday when I least expect it I am left amazed and begging for more. In the early days he would pheromone around other women in my presence without realising it, he is very aware of my needs now and puts me first above all. I look froward to many years I have with my best friend, mate, lover and husband.

I am a Leo Women married to a Capricorn Male and I must say that the reading is right on… My Capricorn is boring by nature, yet his sweetness and loyalty and great love and admiration for me truly makes me feel like the only women on this planet. We have very independent lives, he does his thing and I do mine. (I’m usually in trouble for shopping sprees) However, even though we are so different in so many ways, the love we have for each other is beautiful, safe, secure, and romantic. Now, I do creatively create the romantic scenarios (very dramatic and lush), but my sweet Capricorn just smiles and plays along. We never fight; we have come to the understanding it is just not worth it. Thought I would share… When it does work, it’s not easy in the beginning and you do have to both be secure with yourselves for the relationship to work, but it is very, very rewarding! And how we met, a simple meeting, no set up – we shook hands and eyes met and started dating form there… Nothing over the top, and very unexplainable.

ARI your experience of a Capricorn women with a Leo man mirrors mine. I am a true Cap and have been with my LEO man for 22years, 20 yrs married. We have had many ups and downs, but what married couple hasn’t, looking back at the situations that cause conflict it has been at times when he hasn’t felt he was at the top of my priorities….eg when our first child came along, really bad behavior from him. This sort of behavior has continued when he feels he’s not getting enough of my attention. What I love about him is also irritating about him, lush and dramatic, flamboyant. He will always says if he doesn’t like what I’m wearing or the way my hair is done, as my appearance is a reflection on the way he feels he is seen…..we fight all these issues out, and I have learnt to stand up and tell him to back of, and funny enough when I do this he seems to have respect and love me all the more for it….weird. And as for money issues….spot on we are chalk and cheese, we run a business together and both agree we are dynamite as a working duo (we still have heated conflict), but we fight it out get it to a point where we have listened to each other and make it work. This is how is works in every aspect of our lives, upbringing of our children included…..we disagree, have a heated debate, listen to each other (as each opinion has its valid points), cool down discuss how we go forward, and kiss and make up. So it’s all very full on and never, ever boring……which is probably why I fell in love with him in the first place. And yes Ari you are spot on with the lover description, worst and best exactly. Funny enough, my Leo hubby says he is more in love with me now than ever, maybe that’s because now our children are older and he has me more to himself, and also I manage our business which promotes him as an artist so all my work time is also dedicated to him. So Cap women if you are considering being longterm with a Leo man, you will find someone who will push you in all aspects of life, show you how to let go of some of your conservative ways, teach you how to enjoy a bit of lavishness, and keep you on your toes always. But if you make it work, you will achieve great things, in your personal and professional life……you will probably still be always worried about money though as the Leo loves, loves, loves to spend.

Can anybody enlighten me as to how I should go ahead. I am a leo male and she is a cap. Love was crazy and it all went perfectly for 4 months. Then she was travelling a lot and had work and was cold. I sulked a bit and asked her to reassure her feelings. She also expressed she had lost attraction towards me and yet liked me. There has been little warmth in the past 30 days. I have her space but I did ask her about her feeling a couple of time. This I guess pressurised her. Should I show more patience and hold on for a month or so by being calm and responding. Or should I express as I fell this will make her feel uncomfortable….I am willing to adjust a lot…only feel insecure that she will leave me as she can get over it….is patients a virtue when it comes to cap’s?. Are they the sort to walk off or do they try to make it work?

The Capricorn is very unemotional, relatively unromantic as well. They tend to put their jobs and their hobbies above their romantic partners. They tend to become distant when under pressure which Hurts the Leo’s ego. They take a break up as just something else in their life they had to endure- as merely a stepping stone. Nothing can crack thee emotional barrier they put up around them. They rarely show affection or give the leo the attention it craves. this speaking of experience- i am a leo female and i dated a male capricorn for over a year. He was always Loyal and we never found out the reasons towards the inital attraction-it just occured. The capricorn isnt capable of supplying the leo with the love,adoration, attention that it constantly seeks.
Speak for yourself love! I am a Capricorn, i wear my heart on my sleeve, am very forthcoming with my emotions, am extremely romantic and if im not at work, revolve my social life round my partner - who happens to want to spend time with me when im with my horse (my hobby)- but is sometime necessary to have ‘me time’ and not live in eachothers pockets! I handle pressure extremely well - have to otherwise i wouldnt have a job, and i dont let my business affect my personal life, even when i have to take work home with me! I am extremely affectionate - if anything have to seek it myself from my leo partner at times, however am quite an independant ‘dont need reassurance’ kind of girl as well! If the Leo craves that much attention only suggests neediness. It sounds like your speaking from your own personal set up - as your general statement of the beaviours of ‘Leo and Capricorn’ coould be further from the truth with me! - But then i am speaking personally, however am not generalising all Leos!!

I am a Capricorn male who is in love with a female Leo. I have taken her on trips, spent lavishly on her and give her the spotlight 98% of the time. I bruised her ego once and she has bruised my ego countless times. The lovemaking creativity wise is always dependent upon me! Maybe because I am on the cusp of Sag and Cap but I have found that most of the stereotypes about a Leo Cap relationship are false. The female Leo is not the freak I thought! It’s good but it could be so much more with a little more effort on her part. I have opened my heart and gone out of my way for her and her daughter and she still believes that she can say and do whatever but question me every step of the way! I ask her a question it is like I am asking the CIA a question! I really believe that if she doesn’t start acknowledging my needs then it my be a forgone conclusion but not because I was cold, indifferent, or not allowing her to be who she is but because she is cold, indifferent, and uncaring of my feelings and sexual needs!

Female Capricorn still madly, (”stupidly”) in love, (”lust”) with Male Leo. We work together, and have no problems on the work level. It’s the level of his goofing off while on the job, that causes me the MAJOR problems. We were great friends, until I realized that I can’t trust him, or respect his words anymore. He told me that when, “I get rid of wife #2, I’m going to date you.” Wife #2 is out of picture, (not divorced yet), and he went RUNNING straight past me, to some chick, that was a friend of another coworkers, he never even slowed down to say why he felt it was appropriate to start dating this chick!!!! Then he wants to always hug & kiss on me, and has tried to grind on me, while @ work, in front of co-workers, like it’s some GREAT GAME, and I have no right to know any of the rules, that he keeps changing every 20 minutes. Even though, I still have some feelings for the man, considering I don’t trust/respect his actions/words, I’ve given up on any type of relationship (other than work) with him. I just can’t let him hurt me again, &again, & AGAIN, & AGAIN!!!!
