Taurus and Cancer
This is a rather scrumptious combination it has to be said. The Taurus will respect and appreciate the caring family orientated ways of the Cancer and likewise the Cancer will love the rock like support of the steady Taurus. These two compliment each other beautifully, and a life together will be a happy and fulfilled one! The Cancer will make the Taurus feel like a King or Queen, but won’t want this to go unnoticed, which it won’t.
If this couple chooses to have a family (which they will) they will thrive as parents and really enjoy the whole family lifestyle. They will dote on their children and make sure they have all the love and of course material possessions they will ever need. But also believe in discipline (especially the Taurus) and will expect their children to be well mannered and behaved. Making the babies may sometimes cause a few problems due to the Cancers sensitivity. Here is an odd one. Two of my best male friends are Cancers (same birthday 4 years apart). The intensity and fundamental understanding on certain levels is impressive. Their similarity to each other is downright scary. But they aren’t very loyal in certain ways (which seems odd). This being said, I wouldn’t trade their friendship for anything.
But I haven’t found real romantic sparks with Cancer women. There just isn’t any attraction for either party. There’s always a healthy respect, but it’s like we’re too similar and cannot compliment each other.

I’m a female Taurus with an ex Cancer male. We were together for almost 5 yrs and living together for 3. They are usually great cooks, tidy, and just good company. We however broke up within the last few months and I feel like I’ve lost my sole-mate.
I’d get very upset over his selfishness, moodiness, and his uncanny ability to manipulate me and others around him.
I tended to always hold in my anger till i explode, which always hurt his feelings. I know these can be overcome with work and communication but my cancer has a hard shell to crack. Suggestions?

I am a Taurus woman with a Cancer man, ben together a total of 4 1/2 years married 4 years..we married fast! I love him to no end and we are a great match. The one thing about taurus I find is we don’t like to be locked up and put on a leash we like to do what we want, when we want, how we want..Cancer’s are kinda the same there more likely to back down first. With our pairing it CAN be a great one, but you also have to realize that upbringing, past relationships can make people be very different no matter there compatibility. If a cancer gets hurt really bad he/she will clam up severly! Taurains we want to be loved and take most chances to have it, we also patient when it comes to getting said person’s love.
I have noticed with my cancer he is extremely touchy feely, and he takes time to come around to ideas, he thinks he is always right, and his way is the best. When you get into aurguments with this sign remember to be patient and turn it around!!! Try to ease it in to being his idea, yeah its tiring playing that game but for now thats how I see things work with him lol.
Just because your signs match doesn’t always mean it will be a good pairing, I have a few cancer friends we seem to always click, but some of them are very different form each other! Those born in different parts of the month normally are. 1st 2nd and 3rd parts of the month always carry different personality traits. For example I have a cancer friend that rarely talks to me, he’ll do it when he feels like it..hes born late month. One who chats with me all the time and we make regular dates or try to..shes born 1st part of the month. Then one who is slightly possesive and unpreditictable..and at times a bit boring..he is midmonth! Just some examples of what I see and its true with all my cancer friends born at these times..kinda weird. I have about 13 cancer friends mixed gender and though they are similar in a lot of ways they all have corks..
Beware…SOME CANCERS if they feel they are getting to close to you they will cut off the relationship, they dont want the attachment..once there invested they devote everything they have! Some contradition to that is that some are not that faithfull, they have very high sex drive so if you can’t keep up do not bother! Mine has never cheated on me, but technically he can’t considering we have a more open marriage, were just more logical than the average marriage and since he is in the military we have decided its best to keep our marriage open! For the simple fact that I also have a very high sex drive, we love each other completely but realize we are human and we have needs and it does get hard when he leaves for 3-6 months, so we thought this was logical till he gets out and we renew our vows. I know that was a tad off subject, but maybe someone can relate!

Im a Taurean female and I just broke off my engagement to a rubbish Cancerian male. I just couldn’t stand for the moping and attitude changes. He never had time for me and always tried to turn it around and say it was me while he had plenty of time to chat up the ladies wherever we went! (He had taken out a female “friend” to a picnic and pool party when he felt I wasn’t interested in him). The sneakiness and lying was not gonna last in my world. The myna bird imitation was the most irritating thing ever! I hate to be copied and it seemed like he did this all the time! I’ve never felt so angry in my whole life! Hey, i don’t know if i am supposed to still share our compatibility with my ex bf, he is a cancer, am a Taurus, since we didn’t end up together.
But just the same, here’s how it went. We spent 3.5 years together. When I 1st saw him, I really made up my mind that he is the guy that I am really looking for..family oriented, kind, caring, sensitive. But he didn’t like me at 1st. After 3 years of just being friends, I finally got the courage to tell him how much I love him, we became a couple. We never had a major argument. We just love each other. But I think, me as a Taurus, who is more passionate, felt that my love was not compensated from a standpoint of expectation. As the years went, my cancer bf professed and showed his love in the way he knows and feels, but I still felt it was incomplete. It seemed like he was guarding his emotions, or he was just complacent, thinking we will never separate anymore. I knew the love was there, but it wasn’t enough for me to still continue the relationship. We didn’t fight when we ended the relationship. And until now we remained good friends, because the foundation of our relationship was there, it was friendship.
The compatibility is there, because cancers can be your best friends in the relationship. But if your cancer felt that there was too much security you can already provide in your relationship, it seemed like they won’t be doing ways anymore to liven up the monotony. As a Taurus, I cannot overly imply what I really wanted, because I make him feel what I want to feel in return, which is, loving him more, but he never seemed to picked up the signals. This couldn’t be farther from the truth! I 86ed my Cancer for this very reason. He.got.on.my.last.nerve. I felt as if I were dealing with a CHILD this man was so clingy and needy. The irony of it all?? He had about six other girlfriends on the side, that I knew of. I’m positive there were more. Then he had the audacity to act as if he couldn’t understand why I was ending it. SO GLAD I dodged that bullet!

yeah hey im a taurus girl, and i met up with this arrogantly charming manupulative freakazoid guy..one of my guy friends introduced me to him..as a joke he tried to set us up for each other, bt i was like NOOO WAYYY…i hated him so much the first few days, cz he was like so popular with my girl frnds and i was like his competitive opposite..for sm reasons girls naturally hate me when they meet me (bt when i make friends with them, they’re mine forever =D)

Ive done extensive researh on the compatabilty on cancer men and taurus women. I am a taurus. He is a cancer….I speak mainly english . As for the Cancer/Taurus union?
I am a Taurus woman. I had two romantic experiences with Cancer males.
My first experience was with a First Decan Cancer (June 24th). I was in my late teens. This man gave me butterflies in my sleep. He was EXTREMELY generous! He made me his entire world. He was insatiable, and couldn’t get enough of me. He was always pleasant (rarely had mood swings)We talked openly about everything. This man had all the romantic traits mentioned in the Cancer Zodiac. Unfortunately, he lacked ambition…so I cut it off. Taurus women, we are very security-oriented when it comes to finances.
My second experience was with a Third Decan Cancer (July 13th). The sex was just as great. But I found that he was controlling, moody, and hypersensitive. He appeared to be very manipulative. Although he was a great cook, very ambitious, and was great in bed…his personality traits was just UNBEARABLE to deal with. Eventually, it was A-D-I-O-S!
The only ways Taurus Woman/Cancer Man union can work is if the Cancer learns to channel his mood swings. Be bold, and avoid using manipulation to get what you want. Be ambitious. A Taurus woman will have to work on balancing her career and stroking his ego at the same time. Also learn to be in tuned with his emotions rather than operate eveything on a logical, practical plane. A Taurus must also avoid dominating the relationship (as I often do), Cancers are cardinal signs!

Ok, 39 year old male here Cancer Sun / Pisces Moon, not sure about the whole Mars Venus ascending stuff yet as I have just gotten into the Zodiac, but I believe in it whole heartedly. I agree with almost everything people here are saying except the cheating and lying part. And as far as “intuition”, my gut feeling has NEVER been wrong, even caught my ex several times cheating and lying because my intuition would lead me somewhere she was. Well, I think that honestly did it in for me with her, because she has been very aloof ever since.
Today was 2 days since our lunch date and we last spoke (Yes, I am trying my best to not seem persistent and clingy) so I texted her to say hi and that I was just thinking about her and hope she’s having a great weekend. I had a REALLY bad relationship with a Sagittarius that left me wounded and had me feeling absolutely worthless. Yes, this relationship can work and it does get better with time.
I think that the moon and venus are two planets that seem to get on well. That could be the reason why earth sign Taurus is a suprisingly good match for cancer. I do think that other planetary connections can help a great deal because without these, things can get really complicated.
Earth and water are ,in my opinion, not a good match in a relationship. The strongest attraction to an earth sign that a Cancerian can feel is towards Capricorn( a hot-cold love affair).
Earth is more sensual and water is spiritual, it can be difficult for them(Earth) to understand the moody and contradictory natures of water signs.
At first blush, Taurus is charming and sweet and usually this wins the Cancer over immediately but over time, earth appreciates a steady lover who is logical and not prone to “changeability” as Cancer is.
It is Taurus who furnishes the home but it is cancer who makes it “feel” like a home. Cancers touch on the relationship is often intangible and it is only when Taurus is away from Cancer for a long time that they realize just how good they had it.

Never a Taurus in my life. I had banned all of them. They are like crazy people who come all attracted to me, not only me, but to any girls who appeal to them and they would bull towards them crazily. And when things went wrong, they would be lazy and idle away from the scene.

Well I just recently broke up with my ex after nearly 4 years together. I adore him dearly but he didn’t want to ever get married and is still attached to his mom. I love his mom and she loves me but it was hard to see any type of future with him. Towards the end of our relationship any mention of marriage or kids from friends and even his family I saw him tense up and get moody sometimes with me. I couldn’t take being uncomfortable in that respect even though I immensely love him and still do. We mutually broke up because of this difference about our future. It hurst me everyday and it truley feels like my heart is broken.

Even though we wern’t in a relationship we could’nt fault that we were definately physically attracted to each other so we continued to have sex (Mind blowing sex at that) it got to a point where we were having sex but also spending lots of time together. We were basically in a relationship but not giving it a title. This suited us both fine because it gave us the fredom to do what we wanted even though we were both very jealous of each other, but secretly i think we both got kicks out of seeing the other jealous as it showed that we cared lol!
For 2 years now me and my taurean best friend/lover have been together. and even though our relationship is very confusing to others it makes perfect sense to us. We both love each other ridiculously and no one can fault our loyalty to each other. He fills me up with a sense of security and he really is my rock. Im your typical emotional cancer moon woman. My emotions control everything and i experience about 10 different moods a day. My taurus is about the only person willing to put up with it! He is quite emotional 2 and lets me know this through tears and laughter and anger…it took me a while to get him to open up, and 4 me to open up to him, but now we are both wide open - i love it!
I do however think we spend tooo much time together. we prefer each others company to anyone elses wich is not a bad thing but it can become overbearing - i find after we’ve spent to much time toghether i can become irritated quickly by him and we usually have a masssive fallout - wich is often physical. But we always make up fairly quickly.
Its not all great especially the arguments. it takes a bit 4 my taurean to loose it but when he does - o god. it’s not pretty. The arguments usually start because of lack of understanding, indifference and misinterpreting things said- also some of the things he says n the way he says it drives me up the wall! We do argue quite alot but it doesnt make us love each other any less.

first of all, you’ve written this post on my birthday *yay!*
I’m in love with a cancer man after 5 years broke up with my ex-bf (scorpion). Our friendship is incomparable - it’s just that we need to work out for it - UNDERSTANDING. Cancers are very sensitive and Taureans are somewhat - I ADMIT - insensitive. You know what? He’s the only guy who can really understands me and who can fold me from my mistakes. I can’t win over his sensitiveness.
We have been friends for 12 years now. Although he doesn’t love me, I’m enjoying his company. We both love to laugh in times of laughter and we love to discuss heart to heart if we have problems. I just love it - lovers or not… I love him so much.

Iam a taurus female dating a cancer and it’s not as pretty as everyone says it is. Cancer men are amazing and everything. They’re loving and caring and supportive and all; BUT… he’s very controling. Ever since we started dating, he always find something to complain about. He never admits he’s wrong and he wants to change my whole lifestyle. First, he told me to change the way i dress because it’s inappropriate and he’s so jealous then now that he knows i’d do anything to make him happy, he’s fighting because he wants me to wear something long enough to cover my whole butt! Second, he doesn’t want me to have any other male friends and he doesn’t want me to talk to any of my girlfriends about our problems. I just have to listen to other opinions because we’re about to break up. so I am a CANCER female and my EX is a TAURUS Male, things did not work out between us, it was so fun and exciting in the begining and then we became parents….well needless to say we did not work out as great parents, always fighting and by the way that lead onto lots of love making, there was alot of passion in the bedroom, it was the one place we actually got along perfectly…things are good if life is good, but if both your lives get turned upside down your no longer partners you become enemies, for us anyway….I believe we may be crossbreeds though, i am two days from being a leo and he is one day from being an aries - this may have something to do with it, so if you get the dates excactly right yes im sure this would be a perfect couple….just wish it wouldve been for me

I am a taurus and have met the most amazing guy (he’s a cancer btw!) we’ve known eachother for years but only recently realised our feelings for eachother. I have never felt so happy, but.. he’s due to go away in a week and I will probably never see him again. Its going to tear me apart. We’re just trying to make the most of the time left together that we have. Maybe he’ll come back.. I hope so.

I’m a Taurus female and I’ve been liking my friend for a bit over a year now, and I just recently discovered that he’s a Cancer and so I looked up if this match would make a good one…which appearantly it will. And I was sooo amazed at how well it described our traits (though he really isn’t moody)!!! We’re both really good friends, but I don’t really see him that often, so I kinda feel like we’re drifting apart, BUT I still like him…***ALOT***! As I commented before on the Cancer/Leo compatibility, I’m a Cancer born July 13 and have been involved many yrs with a Taurus born May 2. It has been a great experience and we’re very compatible. i am a taurus female and i had a crush first on a virgo and then i had crushes on 2 cancerians, but somehow cancerians do not really notice us taurus girls and always go for a gemini mostly or a virgo and sometimes a sagitarius.The last cancer guy i knew was cool he liked the same music as me and we got along okay and then we ended up in a fight and he refused to talk to me and then i saw him with another girl…. i was so shocked he just looked at me and laughed! and started being affectionate toward her.He did not even tell me that he did not care anymore so i thought we were still together!!!! I dont like Taurus at all even if horoscopes say we fit the best, there isnt a single taurus who could satisfy my heart….they usualy seems to have good money, place or home, thinking about family and kids sometimes too much!!! for me it is insane and yes, im cancer (woman). His love or romance actions for me seems random or too practical, hard to describe that, i would want a man who thinks about me more than kids or family, someone who would look at me and id be in the first top priority list
