Gemini & Cancer
There will be a definite attraction between the Gemini and Cancer. Gemini will find the Cancers sensitive and peaceful qualities quite charming, and will find the Cancer quite a nice sanctuary to get away from their own far from tranquil world. While the Cancer will enjoy the Geminis quick wit and humor and zest for life. One things is for sure these two could both learn a lot from one another. The Cancer would be a great teacher for the Gemini on how to be more sensitive toward other people, whilst the Gemini can help the Cancer to let themselves go and be a bit more outrageous. Sadly though, very often the traits we find attractive when we first meet people can soon become the traits we least like about a person. And this happens with this couple. Frequently. The basic fact is that the Gemini and Cancer are very different. Not different good, different bad. Geminis are the faery's of the Zodiac. They flit about from dream to idea like a butterfly on a flower. They are restless and although they do need to be around people and be loved and wanted, they also have quite a rebellious independent streak as well. For the poor home loving Cancer the Geminis free living ways could lead to many nights of hair pulling. Quite simply the Cancer does not appreciate coming home to find the whole families bags packed and discover they are going on a spontaneous trip to Nepal. The reason? Just for fun. Fun for the Gemini perhaps but the Cancer needs to plan for such events and sees the Gemini as a bit irresponsible. And that isn't wrong, Geminis don't view responsibility the same as every other mortal on Earth. But the Cancer simply doesn't have the strength of will needed to put the Gemini in his/her place. To be fair, not many people do. Gemini and Cancer can enjoy a wonderful and long lived friendship though as they both enjoy each others company. A short affair will be enjoyed but personally I would stick with the friendship, there are lots of giggles to be had with these two.

I had a cancer girlfriend a couple of years ago. It was exciting, thrilling some times, and particularly peaceful most of the time. It was nice, lots of fight, but in the end we broke tired of eachother. I find her shorthminded.

What a match….My first realization of true unselfish love was with a libra man. True they rationalize their lies and their defected point of reality but that chemisrty between is incredible. I just saw this posting and it made me think of him. He and i met, love at first sight, after the freshly painted sculpture in my mind he tells me he has a girlfriend. Even though after the damage was done i still had 2 years of unforgettable memories, passionate drives to mexico, passionate kisses, passion!, passion! I will always think of him as my great love. What the heck it’s better to have experienced it then to never had tasted it.

I’m a Gemini who’s together with a Cancer for a while now and I have never been happier in a relationship. Maybe it is because my moon is in Pisces (and Scorpio rising)? Or because his rising sign is Sagittarius (Scorpio moon…)? I don’t know. He has most of the typical cancer qualities, but he is also very social and adventurous.
I believe Cancer and Gemini can work, with some effort from both sides.

Who says Gemini with Cancer doesn’t work as anything more than friends?? Of course it can!! Star signs don’t mean anything anyway, it all depends on how the other person was brought up, their sibling/s, friends and etc. Honestly! So if you’re not sure how your relationship with a Cancer or Gemini is going or whatever, don’t look at this. It has nothing to do with it.

Hey, so I’m probably the first dude on here…
I’m a Cancer/Gemini rising she’s a Gemini/Leo rising. Both our Mercury and Venus are in Cancer.
What do you think?
We used to have a relationship that lasted maybe about 4 years, and now some years later I’m actually talking to her again. And the thing is, feel this strong magnetic attraction to her, like I haven’t felt with anybody else.. I think this girl is just perfect, her smile can just warm my day up, even though ultimately everything’s in her court.
On a side note, I’ve never been attracted to other water signs, it’s mostly only been Aquarius and Gemini girls, the bubbly outgoing ones. lol

who says cancer gemini relationship dont work :S i hv bin wid my guy,a gemini fr around 2 yrs n more now..n we still havent had a single fight! we have arguuments… we got diff perspectives on certain issues..bt we dnt let itlead 2 a fight bcz we bth know taht we bh r fully aware that we have 2 respect each oders opinion…cz dats d only way 2 avoid a fight ..ofcourse sometimes it gets upsetting because we(cancerians) are way too overreactive and we overthink somethings ALOT more den we shd do so basicaly its US hurting ourselves not the poor gemini…However at the same time we(cancerians)have the power of walloing by ourselves ..so if i do get hurt bcz of his unintentional behavior den i wallow on my own …n easily forget

Gemini female here.
My great love was Cancer man… He was so attractive, inteligent, interesting, older, foreign… But we were too indipendent persons to be together… Actually, I always dreams about family with him but he was not ready for it.
P.S. My first love was a Libra man, my great love was a Cancer man (almost Leo) and my husband is a Leo.

if there are geminis or cancers out there into friends with benefits this sign is your best bet. especially if the cancer is on the gemini cusp and hes a guy and youre a girl! the cancer guy i know is a womanizer…well he doesnt play women but keeps all of them close knit. very gentleman like in a dangerous kinda way.. trust me with this FRIENDS WITH BENIFITS!

I am a gemini woman married to a cancer man.. not in a cusp at all. You know astrology is astrology, you shouldn’t take it so seriously as to believe that you wont work with someone. BUT this analysis is so far pretty accurate with myself and my husband. We adored each other for the reasons mentioned above. And now that we are married I realize i hate those characteristics about him now. We fight used to fight like cats and dogs almost everyday. But we are still married. We still fight alot but less. I figure we just need to get over the things we dont like about each other. Because neither one of us is changing. Its about working hard to make it work.

Hi I am a cancer women,and I talk to this gemini man on the phone for 2 years now,off of myspace. I never met him but he wants me to move down to where he lives. I am married to another cancer but he lies and does drugs I don’t want to be with him cause of that,but we have a 17 yr old together..Well for not meating this man I really do like him but I need to know our cusps I don’t even know what it is but can someone tell me what are cusps are so I will know what to do? i am a cancer girl and my boyfriend is a gemini… we have a baby ontha way & he or she will be a pisces…. he’s in the army & is on the list 2 move 2 italy. but he wants me 2 come & doesnt want 2 miss out on his childs life. soo only way i could go is if we married & thats a big step especially if our signs not compatible…wats the best thing i should do??… i need help asap

Im with a Gemini man right now. We went out for a year then i dumped him. I felt like he couldnt understand me enough. He started to annoy me a lot, and everything we did started getting old. I thought it would be better to be friends. But he refused. A month later I texted him, and met up at this park to talk about it. I ended up crying and relised I still loved him. I think he does a good job at making me feel special. Thats something I didnt relise till we had that month to our selves. I think as long as the gemini gives the cancer space to their selves and time alone to think it would help the relationshhip as long as they trust eachother.

I remember I used to say I HATED Geminis (being a water sign I pretty much found the fire and air signs in gerneral to be not to my liking)…that is until I met my boyfriend.
I met him and his birthday was a week later, May 21. I knew that was between Taurus and Gemini, but I wasn’t sure when Taurus ended and Gemini. I don’t believe in the whole cusp thing. You’re either one or other other. Your personality really can’t be mixed.
Yes, that man man is a Gem. Talk, talk talk and So freakin witty.
I put up a little red flag, just because I know our sign don’t always quite mesh, but it has to do with other factors too. Home life, experiance ect. Like any couple it’s constant work and commiment. You can’t always live life by the book.

I’m a Cancer male and had a Gemini best female friend, and the friendship ended so abruptly and horribly in anger and tears for both of us one night. It was such a shock to me and I didn’t see it coming! I thought I knew her moods but I obviously didn’t see the fire in her. Its being a year now and I’m still very depressed about it. I still miss the friendship and the person I remembered. Occasionally I’ve written to her and sometimes I’ve had short reply’s or none at all. I certainly don’t regret having her friendship. If I’d read about her sign sooner perhaps I would have understood her qualities better. We suffered numerous misunderstandings mainly on her part and I take responsibly on not explaining myself better. The whole experience has left me in tatters to this day!

I here what u are saying about cancers & geminis trust me we are not that sweet I was married to a gemini his d-o-b May 21 75 and mine july 21 69.He got own my nerves everytime I moved he wanted to move he was very over protcetive and he smothered me so. I got mean to him and everything he did made me angry with him and I got meaner and a cancer woman you do not want to make her mad you don’t want to do. I dislike him so I devoiced him. OH but life has away of playing jokes on you and years later I meet another man years younger same brithday but different year May 21 83 and I do GET MAD AT HIM, BUT WITH him I don’t care as much and strangly enough HE IS THE MAN JUST FOR ME AND I CAN SAY I WANT TO SpEND ALL MY TIME WITH HIM!!!

Funny It realy all boiles down to the same thing ! im a cancer woman Gemeni man, …love him to death !! you need to invest in some earplugs thats for sure ….and we don’t seam to connect in a emotional way , he’s to busy running and talking on the phone and making plannes and changing one plan from another ,
but when we are adventurest and corny ,silly together i could never get along and love some one else so passionatly , That i forgive him for any wrongs he might of done. Im crazy in love all over again ….then i want 2 KiLl him again …..OOHHHH how FRUSTRATING !!

he is a mover and always gone and i resent him for that (so cancer) and i don’t understand why he gets so upset with me when i tell him i want him home that im going crazy !!!!!!!!!!! and he gets all deffencive like im forcing him to come home …He doesn’t get me I just want some reasurence on what he’s feeling and he gets mad and thinks im trying to take his freedom away ..Which i woukd never do! but we simply have a hard time connecting emotionaly and i can’t HELP but need it ! missing you babe
