From the post and the comments here, I am really amazed at how some of us are encountering the similar things! I’ve known this Aries guy for close to 3 months. Yeah, just 3 months but te thing is, it felt like years!! Recently we have started to texted one another and I’m not sure if he likes me. But my instinct tells me that he likes me. I really wanna tell him about my feelings but I got no courage. When we first met at work, I was neutral about him. And after some events and group-hanging out session, I got this weird attraction to him. Since he is only 2 months older than me, I feel like we can connect alot. Being a true Gemini, I talk alot. Hahaha! I’m talkative and always tells him all those weird random things about me. He genuinely laughed about it. I even those him some of my embarrassing childhood secrets when I didn’t even plan to! It just came out of my mouth. You see, I’m really comfortable around him. After unintentionally telling him my embarking moments, I’d be like “Why did I even tell you this?!?” and again, he just laughed. Our friends at work did tease us and one even hope that we will be a couple. We both just ignore those remarks but deep down I do hope he’ll confess or something.

First off, I don’t consider myself to possess all the Aries traits, and I think that’s due to my whole chart being in water and earth. My rising is in Scorpio, moon in Taurus, mercury and venus in Pisces, and Mars in Taurus. The Gemini guy has Rising in Capricorn, moon in Gemini, mercury in Cancer, venus in Taurus, and mars in Cancer. So in our charts, we do have a grand trine: His mars in Cancer is exactly degree of my Venus in Pisces (maybe 1 or 2 degrees off), which is supposed to signify a great comfort if we ever got together physically, but I have only hugged him a few times when we hung out.

We became friends very quickly. When we talked I always felt our mental chemistry to be alive, fun, playful. Over time, I started developing real feelings for him, very deep feelings. I think it’s because he just would listen to me, like really listen to me. He remembers little details about me, that no other guy remembers. He listens to me talk and talk, he laughs at my jokes genuinely. He always listens to me and never makes me feel like I’m annoying him. He was always just so sweet to me and just seemed caring that I couldn’t help but fall in love with him over time. He was exactly what I wanted in a man, especially because the men in my life like my brother and father I have no emotional relationship with. So all in all, I felt like I connected with him both mentally and emotionally. It was weird, although we only talked every few weeks on the phone and hung out once a month, I still felt connected with him. The only problems I had with him is his flightiness, he will talk to me for hours one night, then disappear for a few weeks, not answering texts right away. I find this baffling. I find that Gemini men seem to be afraid to get close to anybody. They value their independence highly. Some people call them selfish, and maybe they are in some ways, but Aries are also accused of being selfish. And we are, but not purposely to hurt people. We become self absorbed, as how Gemini men appear to be as well.

The problem? He was dating this Gemini girl on and off for 4 years at the time. However he would still hang out with me, in the middle of the night. We would often talk late hours on the phone, and he would pick me up and we would go to the beach and talk until the morning. He NEVER tried to disrespect me in any way by touching me or anything, but I just felt like he was a good friend, it was really nice. He often described his horrible relationship to me. And I would encourage him to talk about it and listen to him. He wasn’t in love with her but he cared about her. He didn’t want to let go because 4 years would have been a waste of time. I would try to encourage him to break up with her and he would tell me that he tried but she keeps threatening to commit suicide. He finally broke up for real after about a year of knowing him. I guess I thought deep down if he broke up with her, he would just suddenly fall for me. Crazy Aries wishful thinking right? Right. Turns out he never made a move on me whatsoever. But he confused me with his behavior of wanting to talk to me. But I guess it’s because I’m so damn nice and such a good listener that he felt comfortable with me. Later on, I was hearing from his best friend that he was having casual sex with some older woman (27) with two kids. I did get disgusted at the thought. But his best friend kept telling me, “It’s not serious, just for fun.” Eventually that relation ended, him breaking it off with her because she started to get emotional for him.

Then there was this whole big drama bc a guy we all knew made up stories to me that this Gemini man hated me and was using me to get close to my hot friends or what not. He also said other stuff, but that’s for another subject. I felt so hurt, until his best friend, an Aquarius, made us confront each other and work it out. Turns out that guy who told me all that stuff was lying and the Gemini guy and I are still friends. But the difference NOW is that he KNOWS I like or “liked” him, as I told him. Everything was out in the open. I even told him “I know you didn’t like me back, I jut couldn’t help my feelings.” You know what he told me? “No it’s not that I didn’t like you…actually any guy would be lucky to have you. But I just got out of a really difficult relationship of four years, and I’m just not ready.” Which makes sense actually, I saw all the drama he went through with his ex. It does make sense he wouldn’t want a relationship or would be even thinking of one. But also I felt like maybe he was telling me this so he wouldn’t hurt my feelings? I know Gemini men are not direct. And he, despite all that happened still makes an effort to IM me and such. So I guess we are just friends.

Is this guy perfect? No. By all means I don’t think he’s perfect, as I’m not either. But I just wish I could just have a chance with him, you know? I want to be the one who makes his heart go weak, and I want to be the one who understands him. I want to be his dream, his fantasy, his best friend, all into one. If he would just give me a damn chance! It’s hard to just be his friend and not fantasize about having more with him. It’s hard to hear his voice and see him when he is not passionate about me in the way of feelings. So right now I am just being friends with him, and I will let you know where this goes. Sometimes deep in my heart I tell myself to try to move on, but I just cannot. It’s so hard. Another part of me says, keep him around and date other people, he will be yours eventually.
