The sun is your head while the moon is more your heart or if you want to be more technical 'how one feels'. So your moon sign is basically the other half of your personality. For example: My sun is in Virgo, while my moon is in Cancer. Even though Virgos are suppose to be cold and emotionless, I'm an incredibly emotional person who'll cry at the drop of a hat.
