The Gemini Horse
The sign of Gemini runs from May 22 to June 21. Every sign of the Chinese zodiac comes every 12 years, except for the Fire Horse which is every 60 years. Some Horse years are: 1906,1918,1930,1942,1954,1966,1978,1990,2002,2014.
In General
I have lived under the turmoil of this combination of signs for 30 years and I am only now learning to enjoy it! This sign combination is not an easy destiny for anyone, but if you learn how to overcome the pitfalls it can be a lot of fun! The Gemini brings to the Horse a fun and optimistic childlike skip to the Horses step and the Horse brings a bit of well needed stability to the Gemini, but it also brings a hefty rebellious streak which to be honest isn’t at all needed as Gemini people can quite easily get themselves into mischief without any help from the Horse. By mixing these two signs together you get a rather interesting, intelligent and certainly not dull, person who on a good day will be up for anything and on a bad day…well…you had better watch out. These people have quick fire tempers and they have been known to slam the odd door on occasion as well. You really need to love a Gemini/Horse to live with one. Once these people hit 30 life really does begin. There is a liberation that comes with age and the Gemini Horse is the first to grab hold of it. From 30 onwards these fascinating creatures become rather eccentric really come out of there shell, it may be a long time to wait, but trust me; it’s more than worth it!
As Children
Gemini/Horse children are wonderful and enthusiastic, childhood suits them exceptionally well as they are full of fun. It is the boundaries you must have as a child that causes the problems. The Gemini/Horse child is the kid in the classroom who stares longingly out of the window staring at the clock willing it to fast forward! It is not that these children do not like school they can and do very well and are often highly successful in their chosen subjects but they simply don’t like rules and it is my opinion that these children will benefit from interesting family day’s out to museums and other sites of interest as this is how they will learn best. The classroom seems to simply switch their mind off, whether they like it or not. When they are young children they can actually be ultra shy always trying to find a suitable leg to run behind when strangers approach and to an outsider this child will seem the meek and mild type. Do not be fooled underneath the surface is a unique and highly individual, capable person waiting to burst out. Parents of these adorable children need to be strict and disciplined from an early age; they must be literally forced to finish tasks and chores otherwise this person can have problems as an adult when it comes to work and running a household. This may all sound rather harsh but trust me it is for the good of the family in the long run.
Enter the teenage Gemini/Horse, and oh what an entrance. They have no respect for authority and have very strong opinions on how the world should be run and by whom (themselves preferably). Parents of Gemini/Horse teenagers will be pushed to one side I am afraid as they long for freedom, they dream of it. Another common trait of this sign is to leave home at a young age with total disregard to anyone else’s feelings. Yes, it is fair to say that the Gemini Horse can be highly selfish, thinking of only him/herself and what they will gain from any situation. And with teenage hormones raging through their body, well, you can just imagine the outcome. This is why they really do need to get focused as a young child, to be introduced to activities which they can really get stuck into, luckily they are terribly clever so it could be music, theatre, athletics, they have the potential to be highly successful in anything they do, the point is they have to actually do it to discover that!!!
However, the friends of a Gemini Horse won’t really notice any of the disharmonies as they will be treated very well by the Gem Horse; they make wonderful friends and will do anything for any of them which can lead to them getting in with the wrong people. Try and guide your Gemini Horse away from the wrong kind of people as they can be easily influenced. The good news is this period of angst won’t last too long and in fact the Gemini Horses are the children who end up doting on their parents, so don’t despair too much if you have one of these feisty yet strangely hyper sensitive children, they are very loving, kind and caring, you just may have to wait awhile to find it!
Love Life
Imagine living on the fastest roller coaster in the world and that will give you some idea of what it is like for the Gemini/Horse when he/she is in love. These people can get hurt very badly as they have an almost naive sense of love. They believe in fairy tales and dream of living happily ever after with their beloved. As we all know the real world just isn’t like that and as a consequence the Gemini/Horse really does suffer a lot of emotional turmoil and pain. Which is a shame, as these people really do have so much to give in a relationship; all they need is to find the right person. Once they have then this is when the Gemini/Horse really comes into their own. They are loyal and protective and will go to the ends of the earth for the ones they love as when these people fall in love it is for life and although they may be partial to the odd bit of flirting there certainly won’t be any affairs going on. I don’t think anyone can ever really understand the depth to this person’s emotion; they are hypersensitive to everything and are emotionally very high maintenance. They want you to be there 100% of the time but then if you are they wish you weren’t, then when you go they want you back! It’s all very confusing. The Gemini really gives the poor Horse a hard time, being so changeable and flighty these people spend the whole time keeping their emotions in check; they feel something all the time and it can literally wear them out. This person needs to feel secure so they can truly be themselves, to the Gemini Horse the words ‘I love you’ mean so much and this can lead to them being truly hurt by the wrong sort of people whose only interest is in what they can get. Gemini/Horses love surprise dates, the love people to be unique in their ideas as this means that someone has really thought about them. When it is a loved one’s birthday or at Christmas time the Gemini/Horse will go out of their way to make the love of their life smile, to this person that is what life’s all about.
Now when it comes to the bedroom department it can take awhile to get the Gemini Horse to relax. They are very shy and may seem as though they are quite cold and you may feel that they don’t want you to touch them or that you have done something wrong. The truth is that they were born to please people, yet they have an inbuilt worry gene, they worry about everything from whether you really like them, to how they look to whether you will enjoy kissing them etc and this can cause them to seem quite aloof and uninterested. This is very false; if you are able to make him or her relax then you’re in for a big treat! In a secure and solid relationship the Gemini Horse will want to enjoy a full and very active and adventurous sex life and will need a partner who can keep up with their demands!

Hello!
I came upon your site by googling the compatibility between a Gemini-Horse (me) and a Scorpio-Rabbit (him). And how funny that you had just written an article about the Gemini-Horse. I always felt that I was cursed by being a Fire Gemini-Horse, the “worst” combo possible, haha. But you are right…you learn to live with it and actually enjoy it and appreciate it. I wouldn’t change my sign at all!
Oh, back to the compatibility, by all accounts, it sounds like we are doomed based on our signs. I just met him so I don’t know yet where it’s going, but I’m very interested in pursuing something. I’m not looking to “make it work” but thought I could get some helpful tips. My rising sign is Virgo so I do have a lot of Virgo in me. Maybe that will help, as your “Gemini-Scorpio” compatibility article was a real downer, haha.
And you were right about the Aquarius/Gemini combo - there was a real ease with him that I hadn’t had with any other sign. The only downside was that he was a Horse too.

Thank you for your comment, I am glad you enjoyed reading it! Always nice to meet another Gemini Horse. The fiery one eh? wow..not many of them although I have been out with one in the past and his house mate was also one!! I have to say that long term the rabbit will seriously get on your nerves and you may have to harness that temper of yours..and lets face it, thats no easy task!! It could be fun for awhile though, we live and learn! But in my opinion you need a Tiger to have adventures with or a Goat to chill you out!

Im having such a hard time being this.
Ive just read yr post on gemini/aqua compatibility, it was so touching. He left me, just abruptly without looking back, we were deeply in love.
One day he said lets just be friends again…okay… but then after that he was gone like poof!! he didnt even look back.
We had so much besides just a romance. Later i heard that it was because i was too needy and demanding. He’s aqua/ metal horse.
Its been so difficult for me. you know how it is…theres the ego pain of failure but moreover ive lost my best friend, i’ll never know anyone like him again.
was he quite insecure like me? do you have any insights on what may have happened? feel free to ask questions
this one relationship has been a big learning process, but its also been torture and i have made quite a mess of my life along the way, being innately disorganised the added emotional instability did not help.
i would rate it close to bereavment, i thought it may be cus i have a venus pluto opposition in taurus and scorpio respectively, giving me that emotional explosiveness in love, but no i guess the gemini horse thing takes care of that lol.
Have any ideas onhow i can move on and get my life together? ive unloaded most of the pain so to speak but i just dont how to get up again.

I really like the lengthy description of this. My favorite part is the Gem/Horse children doting on their parents because I do that quite often and I’m a Taurus/Horse. I’m surprised that you didn’t mention how fickle Gem/Horse (or just a Horse in general) can be.
Can’t wait until you post the rest of the signs in the year of the Horse (the year of me and a bunch of my friends)! I just wish you’d finish one section of the website first then go on to another. This one seemed to pop out of nowhere! But, I can understand your impatient Horse nature, being one myself, and that Geminian need of having to do more than one thing at a time…

This is crazy. I feel as if this describes me to the T ha ha
I had been in love with this Cancer girl, but it was a strange realationship since we were not in the same country, and knew not each other very well either,

It’s funny how people fall in love instantaneously with Gemini but then, after awhile, other signs find that they just can’t stand Gemini women.

Rationality tells that relationships are indeed complicated. I don’t tend to agree that it’s particularly for Gemini women to have problems in relationships. In my few observations, I have always noted that relationships start on a hot pursuit because people want to understand and to be close to each other but as they soon they understand each other to some extent, the problem of compatibility arises and the personality differences are taken into account which in poor relationships make the whole episode sour. The Pisces, Aquas, Leos, Virgos, Sags, Caps, Scorpios, Cancers, Libras, and ……….. have all been victims of it at some point in time. I bet ya, it’s correct. Just ask people, most of them you will find have been hurt at some point of time of their love life.
Relationship is like a roller coaster with its ups and downs but surely also has its fun, thrill, and excitement.

I am a male 1966 Firehorse/Gemini. I also have an over-aspected Uranus and a Mars/Uranus in hard aspect. Arggggh! The colossal roar, the sometimes fire, the horselike need for affinity and attention and then I want to take your breath away so I run half way around the globe to see if you can follow. It is a truly astounding combination and a difficult one to master but one I would not trade for anything. It is like any great gift from ‘God’ (whichever form he/she takes for you) it is a great gift and a great curse. As a child it is so absolutely true…NO BOUNDARIES! And rebellion…we cannot tethered but we do not like to inflict pain so the rebellion takes on interesting qualities. Your take on hitting 30 was good. That was an clear awakening for me but it seems to be my early 40’s now where my true destiny is beginning to unfold, be revealed and my eccentricities are wanting to be let out. Your take on love though…..oh my it is so true, the pain of love is visceral for us.

This is too “scary”. I am 71 and have and still am living the Gemini/Horse life! I just bought my fifth convertible. My philosophy on housework is: If you never learn how, it will never be your job. I was that rebellious teen-ager. I survived the 60’s, still take on causes,and have two wonderful children who sometimes have a hard time understanding their mother. However, they tell me they wouldn’t change me for anything.

Just wanted to say, that these creatures can hurt someone very bad too and not just being hurt by others, I was with one of those gem/horse, and it was wonderful, I am a leo/rooster myself. He convinced me that this is it, together forever and all these things they say with such ease, 2,5 years later he just decided he is not happy with his job and had to move to an other country, he was very sorry for me but I was kind of colateral damage. These people pose not only danger for themselves but also to anyone that comes too close.

o wow…im 18 yr old gemini horse n i can actully say I love the way i am! well sort of i wouldn’t wnat to change even if i do drive people made when i’m laughing at stuff that they don’t seem to find as amusing!! although i actually do find my self very confusing and drive myself made sometimes reading this acticle makes me apreciate and like my personality more!!
I know i’m only young but i tend to run from love, if i feel i’m starting to get to close to someone i run because i’m scared i will get hurt, and reading this doesn’t make me feel much more secure about fooling in love!!
I also find that men seem to always fool for me quite quickly and i have been known to break people hearts without meaning to It just me being scared of commiting and also sometimes i can just get realy drawn to somethink or someone else which makes me sundenly just go with no thought, and it’s not to later that it hits me what i’ve done and this can sometimes be like 6 months later!!

When I was reading this post,I was like,,yeah! exactly! this is what I am like,this is what I feel!
You know this is the first time that I’m openly accepting it.
I always thought that believing in fairy tales and wishing if all people were good human beings is a little stupid,rather,it would sound stupid to others.
And about the emotional trouble….man! i’m just too emotional…I get hurt by silly things(silly-not according to me,but others say so..)
I just can’t forget it when someone hurts me and when the same person does it again,i recall the last time(all the times actually)when the person had hurt me…and i keep feeling sad about it again and again!
I sometimes feel like an alien in this world full of mean and selfish people,unlike me.It is difficult for me to accept this fact and i feel real bad about it…..

Becky, I am a Gemini earth horse and the article on GH is right on! I feel as if i just read all my feelings out loud. I recently turned 31 and I am just starting to feel comfortable in my own skin. I left home at a very young age and have been in 2 very long relationships that ended by the others non commitment. I am still confused by love and I seem to try to always make up for it by getting attached to my work. I am so determined to be successful and even more after being abandoned in relationships. Fiery Gemini-Horse
I am also in this quirky group.. All my life, people have told me how much of a true Gemini I am. I never took it seriously, nor did I do any research on the matter.
Only recently have I gained some interest. Partly due to the fact I was looking up compatible love interest. I kept hearing, never date this type or that. Inadvertently, I ended up reading more about my own personal sign. The similarities are almost creepy.
On the outside, I am extroverted, out going and quite the attention getter. I make no effort in these abilities. They just come naturally. On a more personal note. I am very shy when it comes to love making, or general closeness that may exposes any type of vulnerability on my part. Having said that, once I do trust and become close, I am an open book and up for about anything. I drop the wall and become much more active, rather than counter active.
I looked for consistency between sites and my sign. I was amazed at how this sign seems to be very well thought out and most collaborate the same outcome.
Thank you for all your research and findings. This has been very fascinating.

I use your website as a standard reference source when I meet someone new to date. Your materials are generally spot-on. And today I discovered the Gemini-Horse section, which I recently discovered I am. You pretty much nailed a description of my entire 43 years of life so far!
I always thought that there was something slightly wrong with me, causing my life to lead down a very winding path. I rarely stay on course for anything more than a few years, yet I have dozens of interests and hobbies that I excel at (when I focus on any one of them).
As I get older, I’ve gotten more comfortable with my meanderings and I think my non-Gemini friends are a bit envious of my nature. With all my experiences and need to learn and explore, I’ve become the go-to person for my friends, and rarely lose a game of trivia (unless the topic is sports, which I rarely sit down to watch).
As much as I would like to settle down, it would take the right girl to make that happen. As as you pointed out, I would go to the ends of the world for her. Providing she would let me.
One last example of my Gemini-Horse nature is that I wanted to express my thoughts after reading your description, so I wrote out the above paragraphs. As I went back to spellcheck it, I began to lose interest in actually submitting my opinion. It was enough for me to simply type it out. And I find myself doing this with many website comment sections. But this time I’ll actually follow through.

I’m a Gemini/Horse and this is defiantly the most accurate description i’ve come across.
It’s so difficult to figure out, even for myself, when i’m going to be up and when i’m going to be down. I’m a ball of fast paced emotion, it’s exhilarating. But at the same time I can’t seem to make any headway in calming all that emotion down.
I don’t think i would change it for the world tho.

I’m a little dishearted reading about my zodiac sign. I think with all that I’ve read so far sounds as if I’m really better at being single. Meaning not with a mate at all. I have met an aquarius and have been dating now for 10 months. At my age of 43 and his age 48 I myself still go thru the over emotional, unsure binges. It’s exhausting. I’m really into this guy. At first and always it was superficial. Which unfortunately tends to be the one of the gemini’s traits. I now am thinking that because he’s so laid back and seems honest that this just is to good to be true. How does a gemini really began to feel she is worth being compatable to anyone sign..

Hello there,
Google does wonders for finding information, and this site was very informative in deed. I am a Horse Gemini. Never did I put the zodiac and the Chinese zodiac together to get a three dimensional sort of feel to my traits.
It is difficult for me to grasp how accurate this can be for so many people of the same sign, but it is in many ways for me. It is good to know about myself from a third person and these ancient sciences perspective.

Hello all! I’m a Gemini / Metal Horse
I’ve been working on the process to piece myself together in an understandable form, to myself and others aswell
Problem is, I set this task down every once in a while and don’t come back to it for periods of time. Whether it’s for a couple of days to a year. Sometimes, to tell you the truth it’s anxiety causing, worring me that I will never finish. I try to control my tendency to rush…but im naturally fast paced when it comes to just fun or “Horsing Around.” lol
But when it comes down to being faced paced with work or serious matters, I find it difficult if I’m not interested or if my attention isn’t being held long enough by the subject.
I do hope to finish this goal somtime in this life
My favorite part to this article would have to begin with Gemini Children. I feel it is very true that gemini children should have a strict structure growing up. Mainly at home from their parents. I had the foutune of both my parents making sure I reached ends. My mom’s a Scorpio/ Dragon. And my Dad’s a Cancer/ Dragon…. Lots of claw-pinching and fire-breathing lol. If that’s not enough to keep someone running away then I don’t know what is. I do still love them anyhow
Though, now I’m 19 I’m afraid that without their push I will have trouble finishing tasks, and at the same time I am anxious to achive on my own without having to please or recieve approval from my stubborn difficult parents

hi! i am also a gemini horse, i am so happy that i came across this post!, i have read about gemini on many astrology websites and i felt as if they didnt grasp the true feeling, for example, it would explain gemini to be unfaithful, now understanding the combination of the signs explains me so closly it really wouldnt be any different than me explaining myself to someone, it truly is unbelievable and unreal how close in relation you explained the love life of the gemini horse, i am very exited to see more info posted

Hey Lilly, I agree that men from all different signs fall in love with us Gem gals pretty fast. In my experience they fall and i let then cuz I like the attention (i know not a good thing)and most of them end up hating me in the end cuz i break their hearts or sometimes guys see how complicated i am and run for the hills before they start fallin in love.. they are the smart ones lol just kidding. Few men have stuck around and really understand and appricated me for the crazy fun dual natured gal I am. I think gem girls can be very un lucky in love

I came to know that He have another Affair through Phone with a Girl it is SHOCKING for me.

Finally I findout that girl and ask her.She is also hiding.
Now 24hours he is talking to that girl spending money for her JUST LIKE HE FORGET ME

But because of his irritating behavior I thought to leave him and I tried to make an Affair with a Cancerian Man.But I lost him.But Cancerian man LOVE me a lot.But HE IS AWAY from me I don’t ee him for 8months.
But NOW I Understand my FAULT.
This Time I can Understand the Depth of my LOVE TOWARDS MY GEMINI MAN.
Even I felt to SUICIDE
PAINFULL TOO PAINFULL
But he is actually playing the Game.

Because I tried to avoid him for another Boy.
Now he is completely avoiding me for another Girl.
Last time while I am talking to him I said ” I got a small cat I am going to give milk to it”
saying this I cut the Phone.After 15 minutes I call him and said the Cat is not taking milk.
He totally become angry and Upset because I cut the Phone and gave my 15 minute caring to that Cat.
He told me NOT to go out of the state because he is thinking that if I go to a metropolitan CITY I will Again go with another Boys and I will Forget him becuse he know my Affair with that Cancerian man.
While I have Attraction to that Cancerian man I TOLD TO MY GEMINI MAN many times Go and Marry another Girl and Told him to Leave me.Even I search GIRLS for him.
Now my Gemini is talking to another Girl it is Hurting Me a Lot.

I came across this while randomly googling a bit; trying to find out more about myself.
I have to say that most of this is really spot on. It’s like reading a description of myself. I am currently a 19 year old male Gemini Horse.
It makes me curious as to what extent environment and upbringing plays a role, seeing how so many of us are alike in so many ways by just Astrology alone.

I am a gemini earth horse. Everything that I have read on here is pretty accurate. As a child, I was rebellious and wanted everything my way. My father abandoned me when I was 2 years of age. I am about to turn 32 and still haven’t forgiven him. I always yearned for his love, but he never cared. Now I don’t care and probably won’t even visit him at his funeral.
Life: I always try to accomplish so many things all at once, creating one project and then abandon it as quickly as I start a new one. My success has not been reached because I am not persistent, but I am truly talented and skillful. I am the jack of all trades, but master of none. I sing, dance, design, write great meaningful poems, cook like a chef, single mom of 2 kids, full-time job, and that’s just the beginning. I’ve had an extremely hard life growing up with an abusive mother, physically, mentally, and emotionally. I suffer from the injustic of the world, starve with the children who has no food to eat, cry for all the pain and suffering I see in this world. I detest anyone who is selfish, ignorant, cheaters and liars.
Friends: I’m always making my friends laugh their asses off and sometimes have too much energy for my own good, of course when everything is going well in love, life and career! I love my friends to the extreme, and hurt easily if I detect their selfishness. I pop in and out of my friends life, disappearing for months at a time, then popping out of nowhere and picking up where we left off. Being truly loyal to worthy friends, but acquaintances will never get the best of me. In order for me to be a great friend, I have to be truly comfortable in my own skin around you.
Love: Wow! The saga of my life. I’ve had many lovers and all has taken a tremendous toll on my spirit. All have broken my heart and yet I still chase it with all of my heart. So much love to give, yet so little time. I’ve been told many times that I am extremely complicated and too much to bear, and with that comes the heartache for me. I have a silver tongue, and can really hurt people with my words, to later regret what I have said. Will my love life ever be normal and stable? Will I ever find someone to love me just as much as I love them? One will never know with my bad temper and aggressive, impatient ways. I have been dating a Pisces Goat man, and everything was great, but now it has dwindled down to nothing. I wanted to be in a relationship and he kept saying he wasn’t ready and only wanted to be friends. This was not music to my ears, and I kept pressuring him into it. He has backed away from me, still friends, but we are not the same anymore. Difficult, for I really enjoy his company and see myself with this man, for he is what I am not, UNSTABLE!
I am a woman of the people, always fighting for the weak and vulnerable. I am extremely caring, loving and unselfish in many ways, but cannot tolerate people who do not care about me or the world. Still to this day, I have yet to conquer all of my fears, dreams, goals, ambitions, love, family and life itself. I feel that I have to walk to the end of this world alone. Most of the time, I feel like no one will ever love me or care for me the way I do for them. When depressed, I consume myself whole, drinking and smoking obsessively, with no energy to even smile which I love to do. Great food, laughter, great live music and art has been my only outlet if life, but always find myself alone at the end of the day. When will I ever accept myself and the world as it is?
Should I leave this Pisces Goat man alone or continue to be friends? Why am I always fighting with myself, my mind to think one thing, and my heart to feel something totally different. I am an emotional rollercoaster, one minute happy and excited, the next worried and anxious? So exhausting being a gemini earth horse

I am 101% sure that you will get a nice person to tolerate your silver tongue.But you should express your love.Never hide that.Don’t make any long distance relationship.
Try to think atleast little bit about him and his feelings, only give him your Love, nothing else,express it in the way he wants(it is difficult for you but try).You will in the WORLD of HAPPINESS and PEACE.
FORGIVE that type of a person if he did any unfaithfullness , understand that he did that because of your hurting.Try to give him your LOVE and PRESENCE.
One thing I can assure you if you lose that type of a person in your life,after that the Next one come to your life will be exactly Opposite to his nature.

Hi! I’m a gemini horse, and this is probably the best description of the mixed blessing we have that I’ve read in a long time! I really pushed my parents away as a teenager, and now everyone tells me I do way to much for them, but I really enjoy it… And I’m in a relationship with a scorpio horse. A roller-coaster is really the right word for it. But, luckily, he and I were best friends for years before we started dating, so there’s something really stable to hold on to - always a must, when you’re on a roller-coaster!
