What is Combined Astrology?
Well it is quite simple really. Combined Astrology is the merging of the 12 signs of the Western zodiac with the 12 animal signs of the Chinese zodiac. I find it a very interesting and accurate form of Astrology and it is perhaps the type that I know the best. Most people are always fascinated when they read their combined sign for the first time. It really does help define who you are, questions that you may have had about yourself that your normal astrological sign hadn’t been able to answer completely can normally be answered using this method. Almost everyone knows there western sign, Aries, Taurus, Gemini etc but not everyone knows about there Chinese sign. Unlike the western signs, which are taken from the date of your birth, Chinese astrology is more concerned with the year of your birth and each sign begins on the Chinese New Year. There are 12 animals, The Rat, Ox, Tiger, Rabbit, Dragon, Tiger, Snake, Horse, Goat, Monkey, Rooster, Dog and Pig. Each sign comes around every 12 years, for example I was born in 1978 which was the year of the Horse. The next Horse year after that was in 1990, 12 years later.

Great site! I have a question. My husband (of 12 years)is a Taurus Metal Pig and I am a Pisces Earth Rooster. Sometimes I hear that the Rooster/Pig are not compatible. Other sites say VERY compatible. Do you think it is perhaps because of the “Taurus/Pisces” or “Earth/Metal” match? Would love to hear your take as we are extremely happy all these years!! Peace!

Yes..ofcourse you are attracted to a snake..every one is, has been or will be in the future! You are both fire signs in the western zodiac so obviously this will ensure your understanding of one another and not allow any dull moments to occur…ever. Roosters can be fussy and like the finer things in life, they like people to be dignified and polite..snakes are all these things and more and you will be able to teach each other a thing or two that is for sure. Aries/Pig. I’ve been told that Aries and Scorpio aren’t compatible at all, and yet the Pig and Dragon are. So I was wondering if the combined astrology of Aries Pig & Scorpio Dragon would work. while reading I think the Love astrology it said that the Pig is Scorpio and the Dragon is Aries so it seemed a bit coincidental and curiosity got the best of me.

There’s only one problem with the chinese zodiac and that is it completely disregards the ideals of the western signs. In the western signs, ideally, those born from each month will have different sets of charactersistics and descriptions more or less right? The chinese zodiac will say that those born in the same year are similar as well. I don’t think that is valid. Please clear it up for me =]

What about family (mother, daughter, father, son) compatibility? I’m a cap- wood -rabbit, my husband is Leo -wood- tiger, our daughter is a Leo-fire-dog. Could you shed some light on me:
I am a Pisces, Neptune is my ruling planet, Born the year 1980 so am born the year of the Monkey and believe I am the ‘Metal’ monkey. I was born the 28th Feb.
I posses lots of traits of Pisces but the Monkey is 150% spot on and I am wondering what the overall comparison is for me with conbining the astrology?

So what do you call a guy who is a Pisces born next to the ocean, in a town called Neptune, but with an ascending sign of Leo, moon in Cancer, and is a Rat? I call him busy, busy, busy. LOL
Actually, I wanted to write to let everyone know that good things do come to those that are patient. I am now starting my 3rd carreer and buy far the one I should have stared years ago. In 6 weeks I will be working as a massage therapist. It has been an amazing journey, filled with intense pain (divorce), the depression, the discovery of who I really am, and the total confidence that comes with all of it. I’m in need of a bit of advice here…
I’ve met a guy, an ox-gemini. (I’m a snake-libra) He looks great, there’s a lot of attraction… almost instantly he asked me to be his girlfriend, without waiting to get to know each other better (which frightened me)
He’s working as a patrol officer at an island, not far away from the city I live, yet there is some distance…and we talked about it and I agreed that I don’t mind the distance.
The problem is that after some time he started showing some strange behavior towards me. He’s emotionaly closed (yet tells me he misses me & that he wants to see me again…as soon as our jobs & obligations allow us)
He’s kind of “bossy”, looks very possesive…short fused…and when angry (he gets angry very easily) it feels that he can become violent…
Just a hint. Haven’t seen him go that far, but on the other hand I don’t know him for a long time. And I’ve seen that he’s able to get more and more angry…

I’ve been looking for such a website for a long time, I have already learnd about combined Western/Chinese astrology from Suzan White’s website, but I couldn’t find any answer to whether certain combined signs are compatible or not. I wanted to know what are the chances of success for:
Libra/Goat/Soil with Leo/Ox/Wood
or
Libra/Goat/Soil with Aquarius/Rabbit/Fire
I read many compatipility reports about the western and eastern signs seperately, but I couldn’t find an assessement of the combined signs, I would very grateful if you could give any answer.
