What is Combined Astrology?
Well it is quite simple really. Combined Astrology is the merging of the 12 signs of the Western zodiac with the 12 animal signs of the Chinese zodiac. I find it a very interesting and accurate form of Astrology and it is perhaps the type that I know the best. Most people are always fascinated when they read their combined sign for the first time. It really does help define who you are, questions that you may have had about yourself that your normal astrological sign hadn’t been able to answer completely can normally be answered using this method. Almost everyone knows there western sign, Aries, Taurus, Gemini etc but not everyone knows about there Chinese sign. Unlike the western signs, which are taken from the date of your birth, Chinese astrology is more concerned with the year of your birth and each sign begins on the Chinese New Year. There are 12 animals, The Rat, Ox, Tiger, Rabbit, Dragon, Tiger, Snake, Horse, Goat, Monkey, Rooster, Dog and Pig. Each sign comes around every 12 years, for example I was born in 1978 which was the year of the Horse. The next Horse year after that was in 1990, 12 years later.

I promise that I am writing as quickly as my fingers will let me, but working, children, dog, cat, housework..it’s a bit of a nightmare lol But I will start on it asap. Horse and Dragon, very nice! I agree with you I also find them the most accurate.

Great site! I have a question. My husband (of 12 years)is a Taurus Metal Pig and I am a Pisces Earth Rooster. Sometimes I hear that the Rooster/Pig are not compatible. Other sites say VERY compatible. Do you think it is perhaps because of the “Taurus/Pisces” or “Earth/Metal” match? Would love to hear your take as we are extremely happy all these years!! Peace!

I am enjoying your website and I am looking forward to the combined western & chinese profiles and their compatabilities.
I have had an incredibly powerful attraction to a Metal Snake/Aries. I am a Fire Rooster/Leo. Even there are many obstacles in our way, it has consumed us both for almost five years now. We share an warm endearing friendship that is also intellectually stimulating and physically breathtaking attraction….it is like nothing I have ever experienced. Is it worth fighting for? Yes..ofcourse you are attracted to a snake..every one is, has been or will be in the future! You are both fire signs in the western zodiac so obviously this will ensure your understanding of one another and not allow any dull moments to occur…ever. Roosters can be fussy and like the finer things in life, they like people to be dignified and polite..snakes are all these things and more and you will be able to teach each other a thing or two that is for sure. It always seems that the chinese astrology is completely opposite to the western. Never sure which one to take seriously.

I have enjoyed your site, i am also a big astro/chinese astro/numerology fan… Am curious as to what it says about me being a female AQUARIAN and WOOD-RAT… do you go into the other signs like the moon, venus, mars, rising ect… or numerology??… I know its a given but i always seem to attract Geminis, lol 4 of my closest female friends are gems and my two exs are gems, and i have two guys im keen on that are both gems… and me n my lil bro are close he is a gemini too!…
Well hopefully when your not doing 50 million things lol as you gems do, you’ll be able to post your interesting astro/chinese signs!
