RatThe Clever Rat

The Rat is Yin (female)

Rat years are: 1900 ~ 1912 ~ 1924 ~ 1936 ~ 1948 ~ 1960 ~ 1972 ~ 1984 ~ 1996 ~ 2008 ~ 2020.

This is a list of symbols that you, as a Rat, should surround yourself with as they will help you to become your true self and give you a feeling of happiness and comfort.

Tree - Oak ~ Food - Sweetbreads ~ Flower - Daisy ~ Fragrance- Sandalwood ~ Birthstone- Emerald ~ Number- 11 ~ Animal- Goose ~ Spice- Coriander ~ Herb-Rosemary ~ Drink- Claret ~ Metal- Bronze ~ Colour- Warm Ochre

When most people find out they are a Rat they are disgusted and don’t wish to hear anymore. They wanted to be a butterfly or something powerful, anything infact, except a Rat.

But let’s not forget that the Rat was the winner of the race, and often are throughout there lives. Rats are winners.

They also like talking, a lot. Sometimes too much, which I can vouch for as I have a Rat child myself. Not all of it makes sense of course as there quick minds are working faster than their mouths can get the words out! Rat’s need to talk. Any problem, may it be with work or relationships, they will need to talk and if you are lucky enough to be their friend it is you who they will talk to about it….endlessly.

If you know a Rat I am sure you would have noticed how calm she/he is? And how they never lose their temper? Well if you could x-ray the innards of a Rat we would all see a tornado whirling round inside them! For their outer exterior hides their inner turmoil.

Rat people only care for the people they love. And if they love you then you are lucky. For this person will spoil you and feed you and look after you until the bitter end. The friends and family of a Rat are the most important thing. However, if the Rat does not love you, then it’s not so good, make sure you don’t try and pull one over on the Rat; they do not take kindly to this, at all!

Power. Rat’s long to be in a position of power. And they very often get it. They will always want to be on any committee there is, as they love to know what’s going on, not that I’m suggesting for one moment that these people are nosey!!! …. They crave the acclaim and applauding of others and love to hear how great they are. But then, don’t we all?

Rat’s are generally very healthy people and usually live to a grand old age. The only thing than can hamper the Rat is his digestive system. Rat’s, please be kind to your stomach’s!

Because they are so well they tend to eat whatever they want, whenever they want too, which mixed with the tension already inside them can lead to a few upset stomachs. A lot of Rat people end up living on antacids and those horrible minty chalky things you take for upset tummies rather than simply eating properly. It’s no use though, tell them as you may they will continue to consume what they like, when they like.

All in all Rat people are compassionate, loving, family orientated worriers. Who are hard workers and very successful but must learn to eat properly and stay away from smoking and alcohol. Take trips into the countryside once in a while just to breathe, and give your nervous system a break. The world will still be there when you get back, and just think, you will have something else to talk to people about!!

Rat’s are most compatible with: Dragon’s, Ox’s and Monkey’s. Don’t go near Rabbit’s and Horses it won’t go very well!

I am expecting a rat-born son in a few months, under the sign of Aries. I love to read about him! I also have an older son, year of the Goat/Virgo. He’s a gem. It’s wonderful to get to know them in many ways before even meeting them, isn’t it? Thanks for the information.

It is wonderful to read about the signs of your children. I feel it is also wise, as you can understand their quirky characteristics in a far more in-depth way, and this will lead to a better understanding. Thank you for your comment :)

I am expecting a baby this year 2008 and the baby will be a scorpio rat. I am a Libra goat. I wish nothing more but for my baby to be a good person I also hope we will get along well. What is the compatibility?
