This is a list of symbols that you, as a Horse, should surround yourself with as they will help you to become your true self and give you a feeling of happiness and comfort.

Well, this is me. I am a Horse, lucky me! What can I say; well I suppose the most predominant thing about a Horse is their thirst to be different, unusual and most definitely better than everyone else, at everything. The teenage years for a Horse are a most tormenting time. Horses don’t take well to authority and as most of our youth is spent being told what to do by parents and teachers alike it’s a pretty miserable time. Horse people most always leave home early and try and start up on their own. They are go getter’s and will gladly plough their way through a lot of hard work and coffee making to get to where they wish to be at work.

Horses are extremely talented people, they can do almost anything they put their mind to whether it’s cooking for a thousand people or building their own houses, the Horse person will blind you with their capability. They are great people to be around and will be up for any kind of activity, especially outdoors. Horses hate to feel confined and must have lots of room to manoeuvre. Whatever the Horse chooses to do, whether it is raising a family or being a leading Journalist or Chef, the Horse will do it well. Of course everyone has their down sides and the Horse has one to. Theirs comes in the form of selfishness. Sometimes they become blinkered with what they are doing and so wrapped up with their own emotions that they lose sight of other people.

The Horse is incredibly emotional and highly strung. This person needs lots of good loving and reassurance from his/her partner to get them through the gloomy times in their life. It is a constant battle trying to maintain a neutral disposition as the Horse is always feeling “something”. They are either up or down but hardly ever in between.

In love some people accuse this Horsey of being cold and aloof. This is not true at all. Stimulate the Horse correctly and you will be in for a treat. Horses fall in love like a ton of bricks and all they wish is to stay like it for the rest of their lives. The Horse wants desperately to believe in a fairytale romance, where a knight comes to rescue her from her tower of torment (usually created by herself, Horses are their own worst enemy by far) but alas this seldom happens and the Horse normally finds that he/she has got involved with the wrong person and has to start all over again looking for Mr/Miss right. But once they have they will stay faithful and true for the rest of their lives, they aren’t ones for promiscuity.

We Horses don’t have too much bad health. We are in fact very healthy people. It comes quite naturally to the Horse to stay fit as they love being active. I myself love to go mountain biking, hiking, tennis and have recently taken up running. Exercise is a must for this highly strung creature as it serves as a good outlet for pent up emotion. Due to this pent up tension and anger the Horse can find that this leads to acid indigestion, cramps and back pain being a few of the physical forms in manifests itself in. On the serious side complete nervous collapse and even schizophrenia are a possibility. Although the Horse is very physically strong and healthy he/she must take her mental state seriously. And eating the right food such as fish, grains and vegetables will be a big help. Horses love to eat. All the time, but especially late at night, this is the worst possible time for your digestive system which in turn takes a bit of a battering. What we need as Horses is to learn to relax and take it easy. We are some of those who live the longest so we have plenty of time to do things, best not rush.

On the upside I have struggled for many years with my nervous system and emotions, it has been a battle, but one worth fighting as I feel I am finally controlling “it” rather than “it” controlling me, so for any other highly strung Horses out there, there is hope for complete happiness :)

Horses are most compatible with: Tigers know how to push all the right buttons, Dogs are on your side as well, but it is a MUST to stay away from Oxen, Rabbits and especially Rats, none of these will benefit you at all and just add to your already fragile emotional state.
