Monkeys are nice people. Yes they can be naughty little things but overall they are really nice people. Monkeys are easy to recognise, especially if you happen to be at a party. The Monkey will be the one entertaining everyone, pulling pranks and telling jokes, surrounded by a crowd of admirers with tears of laughter running down their cheeks. In fact Monkey people will do almost anything to make sure they are getting 100% of the attention. They crave it and love it. Even if they have to take all their clothes off and streak around the room they will, just to make you look at them.
Monkeys make excellent employees. And do very well in jobs that involve problem solving as this is one of their talents. They will do what it takes to get whatever it is worked out. Negotiating is also another of their skills and are very capable of making sure that his business is the one that comes out on top, and he will do whatever it takes to trick any adversaries he may have.
If you are in a relationship with one of these apes, then you have probably noticed that they take up a lot of social space and may be out a lot at one function or another. Don’t worry, the Monkey will always return to you, albeit not in one piece and perhaps slightly weary, but yours he remains. Monkey people make great families and raising children is another of their many talents, probably because parenting involves a lot of communication, and never let it be said that a Monkey is no good at communicating! These little darlings also make great life long friends, and if you are down the Monkey is the one to call. Cheering up is his speciality.
No matter how many hurdles the Monkey has to jump or how many problems he has to solve, he is always on top of things, he never seems to get down hearted or withdrawn like so many of us do. The Monkey handles stress beautifully, and to an outsider it looks like the Monkey doesn’t actually know what stress is! Lucky Monkey!
Monkeys are quite funny when it comes to food. They tend to like certain foods and just eat those certain foods. For instance if a Monkey decides that he wants to eat ice cream, that may well be all he eats. So it is wise that from a young age these people are forced, no, encouraged, to eat a varied and healthy diet, as they have a tendency also for snacking. This can lead to weight problems; however, if the Monkey person detects a slight wobble anywhere on his body he will take immediate action to overcome it! The Monkeys skin can be slightly problematic due to anxiety and can suffer with nervous skin conditions such as acne, shingles and psoriasis. My advice for the psoriasis is to get lots of exercise out in the sun (no, not sunbathing!) and to take vitamins A and D. Also all foods containing vitamin B is good for Monkey health also. Monkeys should live somewhere nice and quiet, eating three good meals a day and taking plenty of exercise. But, they won’t. They love the city and everything it holds, but too much of it can lead to even more built up anxiety. Also Monkey you must learn to wind down in the evenings, try reading or doing puzzles, this should help with the insomnia with which you suffer, oh and try some early nights as well!
Monkeys are compatible with: Dragons and Rats or even a Tiger!(if you want a real challenge!) But try not to mingle with Goats as they are far too clingy for you, Horses you will enjoy in bed but other than friendship that’s it. And there isn’t much joy with you and Pigs either.

Both are true…. it depends on the perspective you are looking at.
From the monkey point of view, the tiger is a challenge, and we monkeys LOVE a challenge - even at high risk. Actually, the higher the risk, the more insatiably curious we are.
From the tiger point of view, a monkey is a troublemaker better left alone for the monkey will cause the tiger endless anxiety - and it is soooooo true.
My mother is a tiger, as is one of my brothers. I love them dearly - and yet sometimes they scoff me. But being a WISE monkey, I understand so my feelings are not always hurt - I’ll just go pull a whisker or two and then chuckle when they snap at me. ^.^
