Chinese Year Of The Pig |

The Opulent Pig
The Pig is Yin (female)
Pig years are: 1911 ~ 1923 ~ 1935 ~ 1947 ~ 1959 ~ 1971 ~ 1983 ~ 1995 ~ 2007 ~ 2019 ~ 2031.
This is a list of symbols that you, as a Pig, should surround yourself with as they will help you to become your true self and give you a feeling of happiness and comfort.
Tree - ~ Acacia ~ Food - Delicacies ~ Flower - Cala Lilly ~ Fragrance- Ambergris ~ Birthstone- Moonstone ~ Number- 5 ~ Animal- Cat ~ Spice- Cloves ~ Herb- Oregano ~ Drink- Bordeaux ~ Metal- Purest Silver ~ Colour- Royal Purple.
Pigs love the finer things in life. Pigs love to wallow in pure luxury. Even the poorest Pig, of which there aren’t many, will make sure that his surroundings are no less than sumptuous. If you ever need to re-do your interior get a Pig friend to help you, it is their forte. I had a Pig friend once who was not only absolutely gorgeous but he was nothing more than a student and working in a second hand clothes shop, as most of us were at that time. But when I first walked into his flat I could have fainted. I say flat, it was just a room. There were satin throws on the ceiling above his luxurious bed, shelves full of books, even his dirty washing looked as though it had been placed by an artist, I felt quite ill, then he comes towards me with a glass of the finest red wine and started reciting poetry to me. Needless to say I was bowled over by this and formed quite a crush!
After that description of the Pig you may want to go out and test one out for yourself. The best places to find them are places of culture, so museums are a good place to start. Or perhaps a ballet? Pigs are pure bred class in every way. They are also pure of heart and would hate to think they had upset anybody, ever. Pig people are too nice it has to be said. And can be taken advantage of by lesser beings and it’s not nice to watch. They will always go out of their way to help people and have an inability to say no. They also hate crime and even if you tell them a story about someone who did “something” they will shudder and turn pale, for this Pig is one of the very rare good guys.
All Pigs love food far too much. They love to eat as often as possible, and as well as the finer foods can get quite a taste for junk food, thus resulting in a chubby Piggy! So you may have to keep the keys to the fridge.
So far we could be led to believe that the Pig person is faultless and perfection incarnate. Sadly, no. They have one major fault, which is their red hot fiery hide - in - the - cupboard temper! It comes from nowhere, just all of a sudden your darling Pig will start bouncing off the walls. My advice? Start cooking something tasty, food is the only thing that will tempt your Pig out of his temper tantrum.
Pigs panic. They are the ones who often take days off work, and when you go round to see if they are OK you see that the Pig has merely stubbed his toe. The problem is that Piggy starts to worry thinking that one knock could lead to some killer infection. Keep this Pig away from health books, especially the A to Z of health problems otherwise they will end up having most of the symptoms in the book. Due to his love of food and drink the Pig is prone to tummy upsets, but this won’t stop him from indulging. Not much will. Pigs need to live in the country, but with access to the culture that the big city holds. If you’re lucky enough to own one of these immensely lovely creatures then keep an eye on the contents of the fridge, and make sure Piggy gets enough sleep, he can suffer with insomnia.
The Pig is most compatible with: Dragons, Goats and classy Rabbits. If you work at it the Rooster can be a good match also. Whatever you do don’t let any Snakes slither into your sty.

Pigs are one of the nicest people on Earth. People tend to take advantage of them and think that they are “weak” but actually they are not.
Like I said about me in the snake section because I’m the opposite which I was born under a Snake… Pigs are really nice, period.

I am a water pig, I am 25 have 3 children 2 girls and a boy ages 10,7, and 7 months I just found out I’m pregnant again, I don’t know what happened I took my birth control like I was supposed to, I’m scared the people in my life are going to be very upset about this. But the thing is as scared as I am I am really happy and ok with expecting again. I know sounds weird huh but I think this child was sent to me as a gift from
God and I accept this wonderful gift. My mother worries about my health as my last baby was really hard on my body, my grandma will be angry because I am not financially stable enough for another child, and the babies father does not even want to discuss having another baby so I wonder if I should try to keep my pregnancy a secret as long as I can or what.

More about me
I am a true cancer pig all the qualities and faults are me in a nutshell, I love being home with my kids and boyfriend ( we have been together since I was 13) so I think he’s more than that were just not married. I enjoy food so much that after I’ve just eaten I think about what I’m going to have later( I even dream about food!) I am a very sexual person and I am rarely satisfied. I’m a jack of all trades I can do anything cooking, building, decorating, planning for events, excellent hostess, anything cosmetic (hair and body) I enjoy making others feel good and look good. I love going to the beach I feel at home there. I will live and die there one day. I have 2 life long friends one I don’t even talk to that lives in Wisconsin and one who I rarely talk to who lives a mile away, buy it’s like I know if I call them we pick up right where we left off. If anyone has insomnia like me and just wants to talk I would really like the company.

Hi,I’m a Virgo Piggy (moon in Aq)married to a Capricorn Goat(moon in virgo). We both get on really well, but could probably do with a bit more fun (like Becky says)as we both seem to be work-a- holics - particularly hubby who is very driven!I would like to try for a child this year, but would also really like to try for one that we would astrologically both get on really well with - as it will probably just be the three of us. Unfortunately the year of the Rabbit is 2yrs away and since I’m 37 and hubby is 41 we are running out of time!I would have had a Virgo Ox, but unfortunately had an early miscarriage last week. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated - at the mo I am thinking about a Capricorn Ox (next Jan), a bit worried that I don’t seem to be compatible with Tigers (next years Chinese sign).

Hi, I’m a wood pisces/rat and love a water aries/pig. I just want some advice on how to make this relationship last because I have never felt such a strong connection like this with anyone. He has told me he is in love with me but nothing really says that we will make it.

I had read somewhere that Pigs and Tigers are soul mates, is that true?! Or is it not?!?! Did you mean the Dragon or the Tiger?! What is a Tiger’s soul mate then! I have to know!
June 27th, 2009 at 4:17 pm
Hi Ryan,
Tigers and Horses make great soul mates. Or Tigers and Dogs..either one of these will keep you happy and interested for the rest of your velvet pawed life!

I´m a fire pig/virgo. I feel a great atraction for an extremely charming snake/capricorn. Do we have a chance?
November 30th, 2009 at 7:09 pm
Becky,
I am fond of a Aries/ Water Pig who has the same hobbies as me, would I be a good match in that I’m a Pisces (Moon in Leo) Metal Monkey?
We get on really well but am confused as when I do the compatability it states 70% yet it states on another part of your site Monkeys are not compatable with Pigs?
Please clarify as totally unsure.
