Who are the best lovers of the Zodiac?? |

I was talking with some friends the other night, discussing lots of important issues like which wine to drink etc when one of them asked me which Zodiac sign made the best lover. That night our group consisted of 2 Gemini’s, a Leo and a Sagittarius, so I knew I would have to be careful what I said as. let’s face it, we all know we are pretty good where that area is concerned!! The thing is I don’t think it’s a particularly easy question to answer, mainly because we all have different tastes and desires so if I was to say that Gemini men are better at say kissing than Leo men then I am going to get moaned at a lot!
So, I thought that I would write a quick post so that you can all give your own point of view and then perhaps we can see how many of each sign gets the most votes. Personally I will go with Aquarius, but to be honest as I’m a Gemini myself, I think it depends what sort of mood I am in.

It goes something like: Scorpio, then Libra, then Cancer and Aquarius, then Taurus and Aries.
Scorpio is undoubtedly the best. Terrible people to be in a relationship with, but amazing in bed. Addictive like heroin, and about as bad for you in the long run as well.
As for the less mutually-assured-destruction signs:
Libra is the most enthusiastic and open. A Libra is as good as their partner… people who are lousy in bed will have a lousy time, but people who are really good will find a *very* enjoyable partner. In my experience, even a Libra virgin is more comfortable and adventurous her first few times than most signs are in their entire lives. If Scorpio is heroin, Libra is Scotch… the more know, the more you like it.
Cancer is the best learner. A Cancer at 20 is pretty mediocre. A Cancer at 30, on the other hand, is usually amazing. By that point they’ve picked up some tricks -both physical and psychological - from the Scorpios in their past, and they’re more confident and in tune with their partner’s desires. And Cancers *want* to be amazing in bed, to a much greater extent than the other feminine signs (other than Scorpio, of course). They need communication, but if you can give them that they’ll blow your mind. Even with individual partners, they get better over time (kind of the opposite of Aries). Scorpio is heroin, Libra is Scotch, and Cancer is Bordeaux… better with age.
Aquarius has the second most potential for growth after Cancer. They start off as, well, let’s face it: sex nerds. They know all sorts of theory and have all sorts of books and material implements, but there’s an element of soullessness that comes from making sex too intellectual. After a while, though, that melds away into a really secure, skilled, knowledgeable partner. Aquarius is like a really good vodka: much better once you learn to stop diluting it with outside influences.
Aries is physical and uninhibited. *Fantastic* for one-night stands and summer flings, but after a while you start wanting something more… spiritual. And then you go off in search of a Libra or mature Cancer or Aquarius. Aries is the tequila of the sex zodiac.
Taurus is kind of the opposite of Aries. Whereas Aries is wonderful at first, but gets old after a while, Taurus is always… enjoyable. In sex as in life, Taurus gets the job done, and has a pretty good time of it in the process. They won’t blow your mind like a Scorpio or a mature Cancer, but you won’t ever come away disappointed, either. Taurus is like a good Hefeweizen… refreshing, tasty, and you can drink it everyday without ever getting sick of it.
The other six signs are all pretty take-’em-or-leave-’em, in my experience. Each has some things they do well, and some things they do less well. All of them can be good if you put enough effort in, though.

I have to say I am very pleased with the response to this post and I am finding it a very interesting read. It would be very interesting to take into consideration peoples Venus/Mars signs as well, although I am aware that many do not know what it is. Just for the record mine is Venus in Cancer Mars in Virgo..Basically sex is much easier for me after a lot of conversation and debate, I have to have my mind massaged as well as my body…I am a very awkward woman to please!!

I agree with the statement Becky made. The combination of Venus and Mars are what truly dictate your personal preferences in lovers. I have Venus in Aries and Mars in Pisces, which means I’m agressive in pursuing a relationship, but completely opposite of that behind closed doors. Scorpio would suit that, as they usually don’t mind a headstrong person, but at the same time can be sensitive about the Piscean shyness. (Or, letting the world believe that I have the pants in the realtionship when in reality it’s they who do.)
My second choice for best lovers would be Virgo. They can be ridiculously prudent at first and you have to let them warm up to you slowly, but their only desire is to please. Who doesn’t want that?

Ha. These are interesting comments. I find John’s comments particularly interesting since he was so thorough.
Will say that hands down, my current Aquairian lover is the most amazing on a combined spiritual/physical level ever. He reads where I am at emotionaly and integrates that into our sex lives seamlessly. I have never had so much crazy weeping laughing shouting whispering intimate fun sex. And the “technical” details are well executed as well. He loves that my attitude in bed is so “celebratory.” I think it is great that he nailed it on the head so concisely: perfect assessment of Sagitarian sexuality - a celebration of one’s lover. Of course that means that you can’t celebrate something that isn’t there.
Must say that coming in second place is a Cancerian ex. There the technical execution was beyond stellar, but lacking in the humor and intimacy. departments. Interesting to note John’s comments on older Cancers being better as this was my first and he was in his 40’s.
Aries wins for charge and energy, Libras and Virgos strike me as similar as far as adaptability. Scorpios leave me cold and Piceans are too needy for my taste. The others don’t usually hit my radar. Well, other Sagittarians do and that is usually a frolic, but nothing serious - a short lived and fun mutual admiration society.

I agree with many of you saying Scorpios are horrible to have a long term relationship.
I disagree with Scorpios being so great in bed. Some of the worst sex I have had was with a Scorpio. He was completely in his head and very unaware of what was going on physically.
Best sex I have had was with cusp Cancer/Leo. Very present and in tune.

I’d say scorpios are very sensual and amazing in bed (from what I heard!) but the most caring in my opinion is the likes of cancers,libra’s and pisces
Cancer lovers fill you up with tenderness, and they can also be very kinky if in the mood while libra’s are very balanced out they try to please u in ways they think would suit u.

P.s: I am an aquarius and I dont think we are that good as lovers! we’re a little more interested in other stuff soon we see this kinda thing as too “messy” and takes loads of action hehe..but it depends on the mood I guess :p

I am an Aquarius woman, for me the best sex I had was hands down with a Gemini. My mars is in Scorpio, so by this blog going on it sounds like I am the best. The gemini was like a different person every time which always made me come back for more. Really knew how to mix it up and really teased me with the dick. Made me want and beg for more with the strokes. Right when I was about to cum, he would pull out with only one inch left and start doing little strokes at the tip then pull me close at the same time. The second best was a Scorpio, they really knew how to hold it at the right place and get me into it by talking dirty in my ear and calling me a little whore, at the same time caressing me. They are okay, exciting, but have always tried to overpower the whole time kind of like an animal. Virgo’s will spend a lot of time orally. They all tie. Leo’s usually have a small penis but they will try whatever to please you. I think thats why they are so cocky, they don’t have one. The only leo’s I know to be good have been female. Very take charge and aggressive. But for females, by far the best again, Gemini. Same reasons. Lastly, the taurus. I see Pisces are not getting credit, but i know why. We are hard to get into bed, but once you get us in bed you don’t want to let us go.

I feel you about that pisces comment. Me being a pisces woman I understand know that it is all about the connection between the mind body and spirit during intercourse. Many other signs do not understand that. We don’t just have sex all willy nilly. When we do have sex it is a very powerful experience for the our mate and they NEVER 4get it. Like ol’ girl said b4 when they leave us…they always wanna come back bcuz they miss our lovin. No lie…every 1 of my ex-BF’s have been trying to get back @ me, all the way back 2 my 1st BF. But I don’t look back. Pisces have a certain spirituality that we posess and it makes the sex so bomb. That’s y its so hard to get us in bed. I will say, Pisces, followed closely by Taurus. My pisces guy gives me the long-term connection I have been seeking. It is always intense and expressive.. Taureans are for long-term relationship, so that’s why we never get to mingle with any other zodiac signs here, unless we really felt he/she is the one.Sensuality combined with passion are too much to handle by other signs.

i would have to disagree… with Scorpios being the best… i am an Aquarius female and to be honest i do not have the best sex experience. they didn’t really know what they were doing and would bust too quickly. i was with a scorpio for close to a year and sex was nothing to brag about.. he was a quick pumper. right now i am with a gemini, we have not done any thing sexual yet but we always talk dirty.. he stimulates my mind intellectually and sexually. i can’t wait until when the moment comes, i have a feeling it will be great.

Wow! I just want to let everyone out there know not to underestimate the pisces. I am a pisces myself and I am currently seeing a pisces, so I know for a fact that pisces will do just about anything to please their partner. They always put their partner’s needs first. My pisces lover is amazing at foreplay. It’s like he senses just what to do to drive me insane. I highly recommend pisces men, for while they can be a tad lazy out of bed, they’re anything but while in it.
