I have entitled this post 'Gemini Woman' What is should really say is 'Gemini Woman-Girl' as that is far closer to the truth. Inside every Gemini Woman there is a little girl, no matter what their Earth age is. Yes, it is fair to say that these Women never age either physically or mentally in comparison with the other 11 signs. It is pretty easy to spot a typical Gemini girl too, she will often have a big smile and sparkly fast moving eyes and an elfin bone structure, her outfit co-ordination is always her own unique style, not quite like the Aquarius Woman, as the Gemini does have some care for the opinion of others, but they will always look themselves, these girls are not sheep. Gemini girls know how to get what they want from a very early age and it is one of their greatest abilities actually. Turning on the little girl charm wins almost every time, and can turn even the hardest person into a soft hearted pile of goo. I am a Gemini girl and even at 30 I still know how to switch it on! In-fact I put my own children to shame when it comes to trying to get my own way!
Gemini girls can tend to have a bit of the 'spoiled brat' syndrome if our parents don't keep us in check, we can become too good at it and then expect our own way all the time, not really a great quality! Phone bills are usually astronomical as they do love to talk. Mobile phones of course are loved by all Gemini girls and they are always the fastest at texting! If they can be bothered to work out how to use one in the first place (patience with these girls is not their strong point). In-fact any form of communication is adored by these airy ladies. If you know a Gemini girl you will know what I mean. We all have a lot to say and do have trouble not butting in someone else’s turn at speaking to say our bit. But we are not rude, not one bit, we simply think so quickly that we need to get it all out before we forget what it was we wanted to say! Gemini’s are also very animated and will often look like a mad person waving their arms about when trying to get their point across, they make fabulous story tellers especially if they are making it up themselves. It is true that these Girls have a very vivid and in-depth imagination.
When you are a Gemini making your mind up can be difficult, it is so easy to see every side of everything and to not know which side to be on. This always becomes a problem when deciding what we wish to do with the rest of our lives. It appears to be something you have to be quite certain about, and for the Gemini girl being certain about anything is quite a challenge. Gemini girls make great friends and parents as they have an adventurous fun side yet are still very sensitive and caring. It is said that Gemini’s don’t listen, but actually in my experience I find that we are usually the ‘Agony Aunts’ As we do make great listeners too. I can’t guarantee that we will take in every word as we may momentarily leave this world; but we truly care and will always help wherever we can. You see Gemini girls wish the world was a nicer place with no war in it where everyone could be happy and smiley. This attitude is why quite a few Gemini girls suffer with nervous disorders of some kind, having a child like outlook on life is all well and good but having to see the reality of the world we live in comes as a hard blow to these Women. In-fact my advice is to stay away from news programs and papers if you are a particularly highly strung Gemini (which I am).
Sexually there is no better! Even if I do say so myself! Anyone who has been in a relationship with a Gemini girl will no what I mean. You see, you don’t get one Woman, you get several, intelligent, sexy, girly, sophisticated, bubbly, and this can be in one night! They know exactly how to please, to be both submissive and dominant. I shall let you into a secret, don’t be fooled by a Gemini girl, we all know exactly what we are doing we just pretend that we don’t! This is why Aquarius men make such good partners for us as they can see through us almost instantly and although at first this is most annoying, in the long run it is so wonderful to be who we truly are. Gemini girls you see have the ability to connect with anyone from anywhere. It will seem like they are interested in everything that person does and has all the same things in common. The Gemini will always fit in with other people they are so agile in their ability to change it is quite scary. It is also a bit sad as what the Gemini truly needs is someone she can be her true self with. Basically Gemini Women are very intelligent, bright and cheerful, caring, kind and funny people. They have the ability to light up even the dullest of rooms, and it is fair to say, the dullest of people too!

Thank you for your nice comment!! Well, Gemini with Gemini is a good match but will need a bit of work. I had a Gemini boyfriend when I was at college and we were very much in love and had a lot of laughs. But Gemini Men are different to us Gemini girls in that they are more vain and can be a bit more (even more) flirty!! Basically they can get themselves into trouble..but yes..it is a fun matching thats for sure!!

Good question! It all depends on what it is you want. If you want an exciting relationship but one that may not last too long, then perhaps go for an Aries or a Leo. If you want the very best then I would always recommend an Aquarius, but you have to work on the patience side! It also depends on the rest of your chart…But I’d definitely say Aquarius…they see through us and allow us to be truly our unique selves!

I am a pisces female and have been friends with a gemini girl for about 2 years. However, the friendship has ran it’s course. Over time, I found the gem girl to be VERY attention seeking and manipulative (especially with men). Of course being a fish, this did not sit well with me because I always feel bad for everyone lol. also, her methods for getting attention were so annoying becaus once again, as a fish, I saw right through them, and after a while I just ignored her, I’m not hear to feed anyone’s ego. all in all, I think gem girls are great and nice people but just not ment for close relationships with pisces. my question, is it typical of gem girls to be so manipulative and attention seeking? Oh, the gem girl and I never have had any open animosity towards each other, but I could “feel” the undercurrents of tension. sometimes I felt as though she was competing with me, or even threatened by me (who gets threatened by a pisces? lol).

Oh, and the reason the attention getting things was so annoying is because she would put on airs as if she wasn’t trying to get attention, which is just irritating. I’d rather someone just be upfront about it. But I don’t hate gems, I think you are cool people, just not for the fishies.

Your 100% right Lena, Gemini and Pisces just are not meant to be around each other. Two very different types of people, and not a good different either. Both wonderful of course! And yes, the Gemini girl can be terribly attention seeking, it really is something that needs to be sorted out when they are children or it can get really out of hand. A lot of actors etc are Gemini’s, Johnny Depp, Angelina Jolie, then you have Jordan, Kylie Minouge…All love attention. But some of us (me) aren’t like it to quite that extent, but we do like to be noticed!
As for being manipulative, thats not quite how I would put it as Geminis are not ‘nasty’, but as I have said we do like to get our own way..and it may come across badly. Pisces and Gems make good pen pals!

Thanks Becky. I didn’t think the manipulative things was a gem trait anyway (I’ve been told my own sign can be a bit manipulative). I think she’s just a gem girl whose gotten out of hand. Most gem girls I know are pretty cool, I know one who bounces around when she eats anything with sugar in it, and it’s quite funny to watch. But all in all they are cool girls and hey, you seem nice!!!

Well I personally wouldn’t recommend the union of a Pisces and Gemini, especially not for the long term. There is always an initial attraction between them but it will fade and some quite nasty behaviour will most certainly set in. There are of course times when this can be different, for instance, if you have a lot of Water/Earth in your chart and/or he has some air…but as far as the basic Sun Sign goes then it’s prognosis isn’t too favourable I’m afraid.

It all depends whether they are disciplined Gemini’s or not and it is usually not! I always think that outdoor work suits a Gemini girl better than being stuck in an office. Journalism is also a really good line of work for them (us!)As they get to write and be creative, catch up on the gossip and move all over the place. I studied media myself. Acting is something Gemini’s are best at…obviously, some of the best actors are Gemini’s. A happy Gemini has to be happy at work, so it must be something they enjoy doing as the normal working week monotony just isn’t for them. Lifeguards, Gardeners, Environmentalists, Zoo keepers, Computer technology/web design…

hi..i am gemini(with a taurean cusp i think)..and an aquarian is giving me major trouble..i thot i was nearly immune to attraction..and then he comes in..he’s great..and believe me i have never been this smitten…but how do u no ur special to an aquarian?…i dont want to read meaning into anything he says and hurt myself…are they flirty?…coz hes cautious most of the time..and wen all of a sudden he says these things..his hints at how important he is to me..its frankly frustating..and he can tell wen i am lying..i’m not used to some1 being able to see thru me even if it is alitte…something about him stops me from asking him forthrite and lets him remain all closed…o and if it helps hes numeralogicaly 2…its become long distance now..and it just hurts…his quiet thotful take cares and how are u?…do they really observe the boundaries of friendship?i no he’s mysterious but frankly…if he’s just playing..i really need to get over him now…and i no i can and still be friends with him…some help plz..

I am 18 and a gemini girl, and i totally agree with all of this. I never realized how big of a role Zodiac signs played in everyones life, until i started reading about it. I have a question though…I am in a relationship with a pisces on the cusp of aries man, we do have many differences, but i really think it could work. My biggest problem with him is that i get extremely jealous, and attention seeking. Is jealousy a trait that “us” gemini girls also have?

I would like to warn u G-Girls out there, stay clear of Scorpio men, they re not for u or virgos, ive had the most rotten experiences with them even the ones im not dating. Do you really want to have to try to “make things work?”
Being a Gemini, I know my tolerance level for trying to make things work is very low. My fiance is Aquarian, and I have got to say that I so enjoy not having to try and “make things work: . . . things work very, very well all by themselves:) This is my second close, romantic relationship with an Aquarian, and in my opinion, the Gemini/Aquarius match is unrivaled!
If I were you, I’d do myself a favor and wave bye-bye to the Taurean and wait for someone with a more compatible sign to come along. . . and for me that’s Aquarius. I don’t believe you’ll be disappointed. We’re one on the only signs they don’t mind chasing . . . and that’s rare for the water bearer.

Yeah… I agree… The tolerance level for “making things work” is extremely low for me.
I don’t talk alot however, I remember a woman once telling me that I have a planet or something in pisces. I think I definitely have piscean traits.

I have a friend who is a lovely Gem lady in her 20’s who has been together with a Taurus guy in his 30’s for about 5 years. They seem to have lots of issues going on. He is a serious homebody and she is always out and about. I know they argue a lot and she is very often not all that happy and this seems to manifest in other areas of her life.
Her and I, an Aries male, have been friends for some time and I was absolutely captivated by her from the first day. It seems the longer we remain friends, the stronger our friendship becomes.
I would like to be able to do something for her to help her out, but really do not know what or how nor is it my place to interfere in her present relationship. I just wish I could see her truly happy again despite the front she puts up for others.
I guess I would ask you for any advice to be a better friend to her. I have read how Aries and Gems can be great friends.

hey, im a gemini, wondering how things would work out with a saggitarius guy in the long run, he does play alot of mind games which frustrates me, but the attraction is very strong and intellectually stimulating.we have been just friends for a while but now im wondering is this just good for a bit of fun or can things develop into something more serious.dont know if its usefull but hes very secretive and doesnt like being asked too many questions, he also trys to not get to close or attatched to people and doesnt really get in to serious relationships.

Well Sagittarius is Gemini’s opposite. So you will repel and attract each other. Ofcourse you can make it work long term..it’s all about effort and how willing you are to put some in! Sagittarius people tend to have a facade of being very strong and open but generally on the inside they are very sensitive and hurt easily. It can take them a while to settle down too as they do like to be on the move and are aware that their lifestyle isn’t always suited to family life.
Gemini and Sagittarius in my opinion is a good match, but to make it last you must learn to compromise and understand one another..but it will be a great friendship if nothing else!!

Sagittarius people are very independant and do like to keep parts of themselves private..although they like to know everything about everyone else. It is easy to be around a Sag for years but never really know much about them..so yes to a degree. Gemini and Cancer do make very good friends, but us Gemini girls can put our foot in it sometimes and Cancer people are very sensitive to anything!!We can also be a bit too energetic for them also, they prefer to stay home rather than go out exploring!
The best friendship matches for us Gemini girls is Aries, Leo, Libra, Sagittarius and Aquarius. Basically Air and Fire signs..Earth and Water signs tend to drift and move to slowly for us for long term friendship.

Hey becky! i am a gemini,and im currently in a long-term relationship with a saggitarius.he’s the most amazing lover ever as he gives me space,understands me and is always forgiving..(as i am prone to being very easily irritated and jealous..something i have GOT to work on)..but the thing is,sometimes..he gives me too much space(seriously)..for example..i have close aries and gemini male friends whom i spend more time with as compared to him..and he’ll always say he doesnt mind..its starting to worry me..and whenever i confide in him about this matter..he’ll just change the subject..leaving this problem un-solved..i just need him to take this matter seriously and god it is so freakin hard to get a Saggitarius to get serious on matters like these..it is a small matter,i know..but i just can’t take it..im just so afraid that i’ll get bored of this relationship and just start to fade away(something i can’t help doing..urgh..)..and let go..something which i really don’t want to do..i really love this dude..every bit of him..no matter what he’s like..but can LOVE alone be the platform of our relationship?im in a huge DILEMA..please help…

I understand completley. It’s hard being a Gemini girl at times because we feel so much and when we like someone we want to be with them all the time..and suffer badly with jealousy (it’s not just you!!) Sagittarius are very independant and do find it hard to say what they actually mean most of the time. Try writing to him..that may work. But they do like a lot more space and social freedom than us Gemini. I have a Sag friend and they go on seperate holidays with their friends leaving their partner at home..Gemini girls can’t stand that!!
Anyway good luck1!! Love is great but there has to be the right stuff there to make it. Sometimes it just becomes a word we say because it is nice…Gemini girls tend to give 100% in a relationship and my advice to you and all other Gemini’s is to go for the guy who gives you the same ammount of love that you give to them!!!

Gemini girls can’t stand that!!”
Now the Gem lady I wrote about on September 10th seems quite opposite of all that. She never likes being at home with her Taurus husband and is always gone. She often leaves out on weekends to visit her family who live in another state without him because he never wants to go anywhere. So I guess I would ask do you think this is healthy for her to do then as it must affect her emotionally. Also, what you wrote about “feel so much”, she tells me she likes to keep her emotions in check and rarely does she seem to let them out except for a burst of anger from time to time. I thought Gem ladies like to analyze their emotions more than feel them, is this true?

Gemini girls are also independant and if they are the ones doing the going out then it’s all fine..but if they are the ones left at home then that is where the problems may start. Alsoin a Taurus and Gem relationship I would expect the Gemini girl to be out far more than the Taurus. We do have a lot of emotional energy and if it’s not looked after properly we can have a terrible short fuse indeed!
Geminis actually have the key to all emotion far more than the other signs childhood either teaches them how to deal with it or not they are very suseptable to their enviroment. Gemini girls almost always come with a grin plastered to their face this can be very deceptive..sometimes when she goes home and the dsoor is closed she can be very down indeed.
Ofcourse this is just one aspect of a persons chart there are many others that affect who we are.

Thank you for the reply. The lady I have been writing about is a Gem with a Gem moon, Taurus Mercury, Leo Venus, Gem Mars and Gem Asc. So she is a very active person. Her husband (don’t know his stats) is a serious homebody never wanting to go anywhere, is all about job and home and I know this presents them with some serious difficulties as I am aware.
Although she is often smiling as you said and presenting a happy go lucky attitude, I definitely know she is awake late at night with her sorrows as she has made me aware of that. I have read web sites and forum posts that all describe how Gem ladies and Taurus males are a difficult match up. Any advice from you that I could offer my friend?

A Gemini can NEVER just ‘make the most of it’ as some signs, such as Taurus can. She can never be the dutiful wife if their are problems. Taurus as I’m sure you know is a fixed sign..she is Mutable..if he was a fixed air sign it would be easier but a fixed Earth sign is different, especially with all the air in her chart..she really needs to breath. As an Aries I believe she probably enjoys your company rather a lot as well!!
It’s never nice to see a Gemini girl suffer inside because when happy they are truly magical people who inspire everyone around them. All you can do I think is tell her to follow what she knows is right for her..life is short with the right person..but eternally long with the wrong one. Your a good friend.

i also wanted to ask you about how to deal with a capricorn, my mother is a capricorn and we dont get along AT ALL!, there is just alot of friction between s, we irritate each other very easily and have very different opinions about most things, i just want to know how to avoid any more big fights or how we can stop annoying each other.

Ooooh Capricorn Mum eh! I kind of understand as my Mum is a Virgo..both Earth Signs. Capricorn is very different to Gemini..more controlling..too serious at times..demanding, powerful. Theya re like the business people in the world, full of power and we are like the fairies full of fun and wit..so it will enver be easy…sometimes the best thing you can do is to smile to yourself. You are so right on about the Gem woman. I’m one and it makes life tough but also so great.. all at the same time!
I’ve been in long term relationships with Pisces, Libra and another Gemini. The Libra was the best although he moved cross country, the Pisces was a complete failure although it took us years to figure that out and the other Gemini was simply exhausting. All the while (10 years) I’ve had a friend who is Aquarius and we have always got along fabulously but always were involved with other people. Most recently, we finally were able to get together and hang out and something has developed. I don’t know if that is because we always had something for each other or if it’s that Gem-Aquarius attraction but it’s so easy to be with him and be myself with him. It’s only been a couple of months but I hope it stays this great!

hey becky, its me again,
some recent evens got me wondering about us gemini girls again. a friend was not feeling well and i found that i was extreemly worried,which was a bit irrational since the problem was not that big, and i was wondering if all us gemini worry and stress over all the small things like i do, i notice i have problems with anxiety sometimes and definetly with coping with stress, in some cases i can be a real worry-wart while at other times i can be extreemly realxed and find solutions to even the worst of problems, i guess it depends alot on my mood, i am a very moody person, hahaha.

Yes, us Gemini girls are highly sensitive. And we worry like there is no tommorow too, we actually have to be careful of are mental state as we can worry and stress ourselves into depression and other mental illnesses. Yoga is fabulous and you should try it, although it does involve a lot of sitting still and concentrating which we are not known for. However, it can be a great long term help with not only stress relief and managment but also patience. Go to a class rather than doing it at home though, that way you have some contact with others and also someone to MAKE you do it!! lol

I’m a Gem born June 3 (23 years old), i married a Pisces male (Feb 24)(26 years old) this year. We been together 3 years & i just wanted to share how even though I am airy & he is watery, i feel he is my counterbalance in a sense that he emotionally secures me, and i mentally captivate him. it goes a lot deeper than that also. I have been told I am real dominating and NEED to learn how to be MORE submissive.
Question is, how can i be more submissive when a part of me is not a punk & will not submit to another’s request/demand. I suppose I would rather compromise than give in. Is there nothing wrong with giving in? I feel a part of me will be lost. Is it a trait of stubborness on my behalf?

To me it’s not weird at all because I attract
these signs too plus many others signs also,but
I think Cancer & Pisces like us because we are
different & we pay more attention to them than
most do in a way that makes them feel safer &
more secure. We are people friendly & to secure
oriented water signs,thats a comfy feeling.
I attract many aries guys to me,so when I read
that they can be compatible with me,I didn’t
run most of them off like I use to do,though I
have met the good,the bad & the down right ugly
in this sign,I just try to go with the flo &
try to meet the normal aries guys. I love an
aries man. I treat cancer & pisces like I treat
my girlfriends because they can be great for
friends,& I let them know how I feel when they

Get around more new people,& make new friends.

Ok, I have read both about the Gemini men and women. I am Aquarius woman, who doesn’t get along with Geminis at all! Weither it be men or women. I know they say Aquarius and Geminis are great pair, but for me it is pair from hell. And reading about abouth sexs have shown me some light why I don’t get along with this sign.
I’ll start with the man. The Gemini man that I knew was over the internet. I wasn’t a friend or girlfriend or anything (thank god to that!) He own heavy metal message board. He seem cool at first, when you starting to get to know him and saw him for what he truly was he was egoitical, hyperical, cheeky bastard! That needed to be hit with a slanghammer. He suffer from “It’s ok if I do it, but it’s not ok for others to do it.” systemdorm. Which I find totally annoying.
Me being Aquarius, I am strong believer in being equal. And there’s nothing more that gets me pissed when people don’t treat others people fairly. He wouldn’t let anyone speak their mind, but it was ok for him to put people down and speak his mind. Well, no one stood up to him, well, oneday I stood up to him, (I might be 4′11, but I have a lot of warrior spirt. I am fearless and I am not afarid to stand up for the underdogs either.) I put him in his place more than once and told him what I REALLY thought. Well, naturally, he didn’t like that. We fought a lot, it was war between us and everyone knew we hated each other. One day I decied I had enough of his BS and left his messageboard. Then oneday he tells me he is sorry, and he wants me to come back. I gave him a big HELL NO. His charms did not work on me, I could see right through him.
His girlfriend was also a Gemini, I view her a little weak. I thought she should have stood up to her a-hole boyfriend, but she didn’t. I didn’t have a problem with her, since she was so passive it was almost scary. I would offer wondered what she saw in him. He was ugly inside and out.
As for the woman Gemini: My best friend, ex friend was a Gemini and I didn’t get along with her at all. Have you ever met someone for the first time, and at the first meeting there something about the person that you cannot explain, just that you know you don’t like them. It was like that. (My father who is also an Aquarius Jan 21. 1955 didn’t like her either.) To me she seem to be fauty, shading, back stabbing, stuck up, childish, impultive. Traits that make my skin crawl.
When I first met her, I would stay quiet and study her and take her measure, I just didn’t trust this woman. I don’t remember what we were talking about, but I just didn’t agree with her and it was an all out war. I told my best friend to watch out with her, that I didn’t trust her.
And all my gut feelings were right. She’d mistreated my best friend so badly that it would piss me off. She would not have no conceration for my friend and thought my friend she be at her beck and call. Drop everything to hang out with her, she thought the world moved around her. And would get upset if my friend couldn’t come. She would lie to my friend, con her into flying to other part of the USA so she could see Andrea’s baby Later my friend found out that she’d lie that Andrea never told my friend she never invited her to come and she didn’t know that bonnie (that the gemini) was planing to do that. My friend was mad. Bonnie, stories never stayed the same. She would tell my friend, we are going on this day, and day before the day they were suppose to meet my friend would call her up to clarfiy and Bonnie would say no, I never said that, and make my friend look like the bad guy.
She would put my friend down and call her a whore. And the reson why she called my best friend a whore, because she was no longer fit where my friend was still fit. This woman was also hypercricul just like the Gemini man I descripe from above.
Becky I know you said Gemini women are suppose to be sexy and sophicasted. There was NOTHING sexy and sophicasted about her. She was unattractive, she was over weight and she choice to wear tight clothing and she looked nothing, but a street whore. I thing I couldn’t understand how ANY man in their right mind find this woman attractive.
She comes across as being nice, and friendly, open minded, I am care free, but she is not.And she uses her falut kindess to get what she wanted. If she could use a person, she did!
It took me a long time to convice my best friend that Bonnie wasn’t a good friend.
I know not all Geminis are like this, but when I come across one it’s one moment meeting the nice twin, and the next moment meeting the evil twin. Like a Dr. Jacles and Mr. Hyade. I have never gotten along with this sign, and if I do, it is very rare. Dealing with men and women of this sign is like meeting a child, that hasn’t fully grown. Or constantly dealing with day or night.
My best friend is into Tarot and Astrology, and she found this surpising that I didn’t get along with Bonnie. She told me, you both have strong personalities, when two people with strong personalities meet they clash. Which I disgaree. I get along fine with people with strong personalities. I think the reason why Bonnie didn’t like me. I always thought she had a weak personality, I don’t get along with weak people and she couldn’t deceive me, because I saw right throught her. She tried to pull that crap on me once and it didn’t work. There were moments where she would look at me and she was scared of me.
I am starting to wonder, if Aquarius born the first portion just clash with Gemini. My father was also born first portion and he didn’t like her.

To Haz91: That may be true for some signs to not be together. I go by logic and what makes sense and I take fun things like astrogoly, tarot with grain of salt. I mean their fun, but they are not always true. Look at all the wonderful relationships people here have with signs that Astrology say that don’t work.
If one takes it as the absoulte truth, they could be seriously be hurt and decive. Yes, I seem to clash with the sign Gemini, but I understand not all them act the same. I don’t always get along with Pieces, but I have many fish friends. My best friend is Turuas, and we been friends since the 9th grade. And they say the Bull and the Watercarrier don’t get alone.

We loved HARD but we fell HARD too.. and had to finally let it go because of my ability to always run away and play hide and seek…. if you will.. I just want to know, What sign would be best for me? Thank you for your comment! Well, you were never going to hit it off with a Rat I’m afraid, it never works, far too diferent to last. The best matches for you are Aquarius (in the long run) from the Chinese zodiac Iwould say Tiger (that’s anyone 4 years older than you!) I seriously advise against a relationship with an Aquarius from the Rat or Dog years, although Dogs are good for us Horses we simply don’t click with them when they are in the Dog years.
It’s not easy being in a relationship for either Gem or Aqua and it can take a lot of time and patience to work through the difficulties. There needs to be a real desire to be with one another, and a lot of arguemtns may occur. I could write a novel on the up’s and down’s I have experienced and what I have learned, in fact I am going to write a book about it! But the thing is out of all the signs I have been with it is the Aquarius that works in the end, they truly understand us, and allow us to be ourselves, and for us Gemini Girls that is special indeed!

I just realized my comment was all over the place, but it seems you understood my questions. ha! I see, no wonder. He did see right through me, but also, as many other relationships in my past wanted me to be someone else. I don’t blame him, I am a bit flighty… I am noticing over time my personality quarks and am able to try to grow from them. It isn’t easy though. I have a STRONG desire to be in a relationship with someone who truly loves me. I also have a desire to be stable. However, my other ‘twin’ has other ideas! I also have a really strong pull to run or be ‘free’.. I feel plaqued by it. Has this gotten better for you over the years?

Also, I have a Best friend who i used to date in highschool. That didnt last, but we stayed connected and friends. We get along like so well! He is a Aquarius/Dragon. As for the Aqua dragon, it could be nice, however if you don’t him physically attractive any longer I wouldn’t go there, you may end up hurting his feelings in the end. Although physical attraction isn’t everything it is important..it depends how you feel about him, but if he loves you and you do not feel the same I would just stay friends for his sake.

I need some help with myself…. am very troubled…. my life is so full of shit that i cant breathe. Am a hard core gemini…. i think, 22nd May 1989 born. I was in a relationship with a gemini man 2 years older than me, exactly 2 years older; we have the same b’day. but then he was not like i am, all he did was to lie about things, and all i did was telling him every truth. And he still accuses me that i could not accept few things and that i deserve this depression. I am not depressed for the reason he cheated on me, nor for the reason that he lied coz now, I feel he didn’t deserve me. But am still depressed coz he found another girl, pretty soon after he cheated on me…. and he disappeared, and went to that girl coz i managed to find out about al his lies, accidently. Hi Becky, i am a gemini girl..yay! i currently have a pisces friend and she annoys the heck out of me!! We don’t have open animosity but i feel the undercurrents of tension between us. If anything i think she’s jealous or insecure of me. I was seeing an Aquarius man end of last year, I’m gemini, but after two months I went on holiday and came back to discover he’d decided he was no longer wanting a relationship as he was with someone for a long time and didn’t feel ready, we continued to see each other before I ended things a few month later… we got back in touch about 8 weeks later and have been meeting up since, we have the most amazing chemistry and cannot stop it (he says this hasn’t been the case in all his relationships and he can take or leave the sex side of things if there’s no connection), there has been a slight issue with his ex, a leo who has come back on the scene… He says he wants to leave things as he’ll only hurt me, so I told him to leave me be for a while but then he gets back in touch… is he just using me or is this typical behaviour of his sign… sould we develop a relationship again or am I fighting a losing battle… The problem is we are so alike it’s unreal, and whereas I find him perfect for me I feel he just cannot see what is right in front of him. Maybe you need to leave him for definate, if he was selfish enough to leave you on a cliffhanger when you came back from holiday, then you need to give him a taste of his own medicine. And it is normal for Aquarians to be on and off with people that they are in a relationship with, but the Gemini girl is onwe girl who the Aquarians CAN NOT stop chasing…. they love us.. trust me. I have never written on a blog such as this before, but your answers and reflection on the personality traits of the Gemini are pretty accurate. I am a Leo male and my ex-Gemini met two years ago and started a relationship unlike any I have ever been involved with.
I was smitten with her smile and her eyes, but very cautious about her sincerity. As a typical Gemini, she was in and out of the relationship, leaving me to lick my wounds each time. Being a lion-heart I chased her down and when I caught her she made it clear that she wanted children and a settled life with me.
We moved in together, but unfortunately, I was still hurt and insecure from her former indecisiveness that I did not completely break off my ties with people I had met during our time apart. She found out and (of course) left. After much thought and discussion, we both made the decision that we loved each other enough to put the necessary effort into our relationship without insecurity or hesitation. I asked her to marry me, and she accepted.
Living with her was like being with 4 different people, under one roof. Her constant battle with boredom and her insatiable desire for freedom, made it extremely difficult to know or feel if this relationship was of any importance to her…or was it just another one of her many “projects”.
I felt so ostracized and lonely under my own roof. Maybe it is a Leo thing, but I was definitely not the king of my domain, and neither did I have a full-time queen. God knows I treated her like one: trips to Aruba, shopping for shoes/purses on my own for her, spending time with her family and friends, making absolute passionate love to her, house shopping etc.
Well, she’s gone again and of course I chased. But this time, it was different. The Leo can only take so much of this childishness, as we take commitment and love very seriously. Yes, we had petty arguments but this “leaving the scene” !@#$ is intolerable.
We’ve spoken since and basically she has told me that she is conflicted and scared to love me so deeply because I will only hurt her. Communication has been cut off and we are moving on.
I guess what I wanted to know is whether this is futile, or another mood swing? I love this girl with all of my heart, otherwise I would never have asked for her hand in marriage. I want to be a good man/husband, but something is telling me…she may not be the one. Any advice would be appreciated. -Leo

What an awesome post. So on point that I had to leave a comment. I was inlove with a pisces male and it ended in disaster…he was an awful cheater.
No matter how much love I showed and gave him. No matter how much I satisfied him sexually it just wasn’t enough…turns out I was indeed slepping with the enemy.
I feel inlove with a Gemini man and even though we seemed meant for eachother he was just as ficle so although we are not enemies we were left unfinished because he was unable to commit. I was still holding on to him until I found out he married someone…
I fell hard for a Tarus man but no matter our ridiculous chemistry…he chose another woman. They have a family now so that put an end to us. Crazy thing is that after years of not seeing or talking to eachother we shared a night full of passion and the chemistry is still there but why cause problems so I let go. With him only God knows why he chose another over someone he seemed and still seem to have such great chemistry with. I had to get over feeling cheated of a great thing and look at it as we were never meant to be.

I agree with that we have a hard time seeing the “real” world. To me this is a perfect world and everyone is walking around with a big smile on their faces. But when I stop and see how things really are it totally depresses me, which is why I choose not to watch the new anymore except for the weather. I can totally relate to my kids. I am the mom that is in the playground playing with them. I play dress up, barbies, house, make up. I make up silly songs and make them sing them. I play jokes on everyone. On interviews I always know I’m going to get the job because I always get what I want. At home I am very disorganized and I don’t mind the mess. The more the better the challenge of cleaning it up. I absolutely hate boring people that are high maintenance. Chill and enjoy life! What I am most afraid of is death.

One more comment I wanted to make was that, I have dated Aquarius men before and I have been able to have great friendships with them, but it has never worked out, I lose all respect for them. I know I’m late. But I just had to post on this topic of Gemini’s.I am a Gemini and it took me a long time to understand myself! For starters, if you enjoy dabbling in astrology, try speaking from an objective standpoint: Becky, your opinion is so biased its rather comical. Typical Gemini girl you are…In addition, I have had my share of experiences with all people. I try to look at astrology as a tool for learning some qualities about a person and bettering myself. Typically, what I’ve found most intriguing about astrology is that it can help if there’s a sense of honesty. With that being said, Gemini people in general are manipulative. It is a contradiction to call someone intelligent without that person having some calculating tendencies, which Gemini people exhibit. I find that the Gemini women in particular, recognize the importance of femininity in the sense where they view the world from that perspective. They hate the way the world views attractiveness, but they try to use it to their advantage. They know that with the label of “woman”, there are certain attributes that will make them more attractive seeing that women are judged based on their attractiveness, more than anything else. Gemini’s view looks from an advanced standpoint. Their personalities have been developed with that in mind. This is why most of them make the worse friends. They grow up doing everything possible to develop themselves to meet the level of attractiveness that they believe will bring them happiness as a woman. …Just like children, we compete and acquire appetites to be better than others, especially other women. Quite frankly, we learn what men want out of a curiosity to be the best. We learn that men really value beauty. We know whether or not we are considered beautiful, and if we are not, we will enhance ourselves intellectually by reading about what men want or secretly getting surgical enhancements. We will wear revealing clothes or enhance the feature we know is the best about ourselves. But if we are blessed with looks, we can be the most brutally nasty women around- this kind of Gemini prides herself on stealing other women’s men or being a home wrecker. Again, we have a serious issue with being better than other women.
An example is an acquaintance of mine, Gemini girl, who had a Sagittarius ex- boyfriend. She was always in love with him, but he always turned her down. She is not the most attractive women in the world both in and out, but the Sagittarius was breathtaking. He did not want her whatsoever and let her know. But she studied what he liked. She did whatever it took, even sexually, to make him hers (he had a couple of fetishes). Eventually they started dating, but she cheated on him. She stated “once I had him, I had to show him who ran the show.” She manipulated him until he moved on to a gorgeous Leo woman he met in college. Most women, in my opinion, hate Leo’s out of pure jealousy (my best friend is a Leo). This is a tactic we use to put ourselves above another woman, we understand the power of speaking it into existence. But the sad part is that a lot of us are really sad inside. Depending how we were raised, we spend our entire lives secretly feeling that we are not good enough- this is the real reason why we behave the way we do!
My very first husband was a Sagittarius that I married when I was young. I broke him up with the girl he truly loved in college. I gave him great sex and did what he wanted. Because I am grown up (53 years), I have definitely mastered myself which I believe is the value of astrology. The benefit of being a Gemini is our minds and ability to grow up to be wonderful women, if we choose. I strongly disagree. I am a Gemini female. I have a handful of very close friends who are like the sisters I never had and one of them is a Pisces. We have been friends for almost 20 years and we have had maybe 4 or 5 disagreements because yes our personalities and perceptions are some what different, but we are very much alike. She has learned about me and I’ve learned about her. I don’t know where that poor Pisces found that Gemini friend because most Geminis I know are not like that, but I know two who were manipulative, both male. Anyhow, what she described I experienced with a Virgo female friend, I keep my distance from her, love her from afar. However, when it comes to Pisces men, I have been attracted to only one and would have considered a relationship with him, but he was attracted to my Pisces friend, so I stepped back and I loved them both and I encouraged their relationship and was close friends with both. She disappointed me when she broke his heart and she immediately regretted it. Although overall, I’ve always felt that I would only be really compatible with a Pisces man as just a great friend. And as I said earlier, one of the best friendships of my life has been with a Pisces woman.

I’m a gemini woman/girl, I would consider myself to be very intelligent and am able to make some of the wisest decisions, and can be very serious at times, which tends to shock a lot of people, because they mostly only ever see me having fun and laughing. Yet I love having fun, and doing childish things, anything for a laugh, that’s me. Right on the Dot! Me, myself and I, all Gemini, have always been the best of friends. My other friends think I have multiple personality disorder…NO…just a Gemini Woman! And childlike? I’m attracted to a virgo boy because he seems very intellectual like me, but he might be too reserved. Hello all you Gemini Girls!
First of all, I must say that everything written here is sooo true… Maybe except the attention-seeking part… One thing is liking being noticed, another thing is to be an attention seeker.
I must say, that being a gemini is not that easy. We battle with our emotions everyday and I believe that most of us can be misunderstood.
Sometimes it feels that our environment, our surroundings get confused with our presence and if not that… I encountered jelousy a lot of times, sometimes being our best friends being jealous, and that is something that can hurt you deeply.
For some reason, two of my absolute closest friends have been pisces.. But the friendship ended, in an ugly way.
Fishes somehow are fascinated by the gemini…and grow next to us and it doesnt take a lot of time until they become competetive.
What type of friendship is that when you have someone next to you who sees you as some type of competition?
I must say, that these experiences were hurtful.. because as you know, all these ups and downs in a gemini..moments in life when you want to do it all and know it all and not knowing what path to take, its nice to have a friend for at least a little support. When these moments occur, thats when the pisces-woman jumps and declares you stupid and childish and considers herself superior.
I believe that we are complicated somehow in nature, but we do have a good will. We believe in love and in people, we love to spread our energy ( confused so many times with attention seeking).
It is hard for a gemini to have really good friends maybe we are just too hard to understand.
We go on with our lives sometimes in a manner that people might think that we are cold and selfish but I believe that thats the only way we can survive. Nobody gets us anyways
In relationships for some reason Scorpios have been good experiences..
And my partner today is a Leo.. and its really good, the best until now.
Everytime I read about Geminis, I always miss reading something very important, and that is the we are extremely emotional and sensitive and that we need a lot of affection and warmness. I am gemini woman and some of the things you have mentioned are true about the gemini traits. Though you give a very optimist review on the traits. On the other hand during the bad days I also think Gemini women are the kind of women who has that “smile” with many hidden meanings.
Flirty, yes I am, and I do not wish to be a hypocrite, I’d like to do things looking unintentionally and used the outcomes to my advantages, I could call myself quite manipulative or smart enough to calculate fast. But it is true that I do not wish that to hurt others, I always try to not cause pain.
I like to do things my ways, selfish as it may seems, but I do consider the benefits of my actions will bring to me and others.
I do secretly get jealous seeing someone considered better than me, and in my opinion, most gemini women get jealous of other geminis.
Not to mention that Geminis are Jack of all trades but not an Ace.
I as a gemini can fall in and out of love as easy as I choose to be.
I may have been called cold, as people tend to think that I have not much heart when it comes to relationship. “How could you get over him so fast if you really do in love with him?” I got that a lot. Not my fault as there are always other men available who are attracted to me.
I have cheated before when I get very unhappy with the relationship, but when I love someone, I do love that person deeply that it hurts when I don’t hear from him.
On the other hand when I want to end things with a man, I tend to just ‘disappear’ in no time, gone just like that in a second. Not a very good way of parting, but through my experiences, all star signs will try to contact back EXCEPT A GEMINI MAN! (he totally gone himself as fast as I did to him)
and yes, gemini women, we care a lot about how we look, to the point vanity is just a thin flip of a paper.
gemini women do pretend a lot, most of them pretend they are happy but they aren’t.

Hi there Gemini ladies.
I am an Aquarius male and I just want to answer from an Aquarius point of view a few questions that have been posted here regarding how Aquarius men feel while in love and if we love you Gemini women as much as you love us…and more pointedly if we dont in fact love people special in our lives to the same degree, not differentiating between people, and more importantly our partners and everyone else.
First…equality and egalitarianism are big things to Aquarius. We tend not to discriminate in any way in our actions or feelings towards people, and yes that too can be in our perceptions of our relationships. We can in a sense love everyone just the same. We will tend to love different things about people and maybe love people for very different reasons but it can be a huge slap in the face to know that you arent the ultimately special person in our lives and that the degree of love, or affection we have for you isnt unique. What I can say though is that the resaons we love you may be. They may be very unique indeed.
Second…we tend to base our love around friendship, and I mean real friendship, its something we idealise and intrinsically understand. That is why for the most part, we dont discriminate in who we love, as friendship and love go hand in hand for us. If you are our trusted friend we love you. Simple as!!! And yes, we may love just as much as our partner….and that can be hard for our partner to understand and can cause friction.
Third…we need a great deal of freedom to feel we are allowed to love those special to us in our own unique way. If smothered…boxed in…or not allowed to be ourselves we run…and we run far far away. Yes, we can run for a million different reasons, but one sure fired way to lose an Aquarius guy is to place him in a situation where his own independent will and individuality is threatened. We are very much creatures who will act in our own way and to our own agenda. Nobody will force us down a path which is not of our choosing. We dont tend to need anybody especially significant in our lives, but we do love having company which stimulates us and whom we can share experiences with. Those sort of people keep us coming back for more and we are supportive…just as friends. We see you as a friend…a very very good friend and somebody we love deeply for very special reasons, but in the general perception of things our love or form of love or perception of love is very very different from the standard. We dont discriminate….we dont really know anything else other than friendship. We will love you very very much and in that we will always allow you to be exactly who you are and never change you for one second…we fell in love with an amazing person who stimulated the hell out of us and whom we love spending time with and will always be supprotive of. We will spend our time getting to know you, and understand you and wont even try to change you….is it so wrong that we could not expect the same?? Everyone in some way just wants to be understood and appreciated for who they are…and we find people infinitely interesting and we love lots of people for this very reason. Its just how we approach life, and people and love.
I hope that has given a little insight into how an Aquarius love and if he loves you as much as you love him. He may very well….but the love and appreciation may be totally different to yours.

After reading your responce to the Aquarius and Gemini match,it is very useful, helpful and accurate. I must say though, that we Gemini’s are aware that Aquarius does not treat anyone differently, or discrimate against anyone. The point that was trying to be made, about the Gemini and Aquarius match is that it has a special attribute about it that is different to the rest of the compatabilities. It is not HIGHER OR BETTER, than any other relationship, just different in a special way that both signs understand.

Well I am with a Gemini girl and she is absolutely brilliant. Like nothing I have ever really felt before….and the intrinsic thing behind it all is that we both feel completely able to just be ourselves. In the past I have always felt that I had to throw up a wall in front of my more out there ideals and try to fit in I guess. This always ended up with me seeking solitude and feeling misunderstood and not really appreciated for who I was….because I felt to a certain degree I couldnt be myself. Its all to do with the mental perceptions and state of mind with us Air Signs and even though my Gemini girl may not agree with everything I say…she is still incredibly interested in delving into my perceptions….and not threatened by them in the least, mostly because she has her own which she feels strongly about herself and she knows without a doubt that i would never force my opinions on her or my ideals or whatever. Also….she is the least possessive girl I have ever come across. We both have lots of friends and people dear to our lives….and actually I am very good friends with an ex-girlfriend of mine which i thought would be something of a stumbling block but they both get on like a house on fire and there is not even a hint of jealousy about her. She understands my need to be alone at times and doesnt take it personally and to tell the truth she needs her time out at times too….but it is the intrinsic need to understand each other and what the other wants and needs and a willingness to provide that for each other which is the most satisfying thing in our relationship. I dont feel so alien anymore thanks to my little Gem…and trust me, that is pretty much unique and is the utterly unique thing that I love about her. I may love an awful lot of people and always try to have them in my life….but the love I have for her is unique…a total one off and I love exploring it and experiencing it, and Im forever grateful to her for showing it to me….and I love seeing how she makes so many people so happy by sharing her love around. We both encourage that about each other and know it is something we just have to do. She is something to behold alright. I actually wrote her a poem to show her just how amazing a person she is….

Im a Gem (of course) i kno they say to stay far away from scorpio but i been in it for a year now and is getting rough. First 6 months was fine. I had no worries he was everything i wanted until i started gettin a lil demanding, jealous, and having attitudes. But hey, i couldnt help it. I began to get mad at tha smallest things he did. As i changed he changed 4 tha worst. He used to be crazy in love and almost obssessed wit me but now its like he can’t stand me. It is soo nice to hear and read that you are in love with a Gemini girl, that treats and makes your love feel unique.
I think Aquarius and Gemini is the best match, but thats just my view. There can be struggles, between the two signs, because they have to learn to adjust to each other. The Gemini woman needs to let her Aquarian man take lead, and the Aquarian man must learn to cut out of his stubborn ways sometimes. But all in all, I think these two signs can’t bare to be away from each other. And even if they do break up, they just can’t stop thinking about each other.

I am a Gemini girl and after reading all of these posts one thing I can truly say is that if the Gemini is involved with a sign that is an “iffy” match, you will definately see the worst in us. I was married to a Virgo, and while he is a great guy, I was MISERABLE. I definately stay away from them now. As well as Aries, Scorpio… LOL… Any sign or person out there who wants to be with a Gemini will have to learn a few tricks: 1) They HAVE to let us fly free and make our own choices. 2) They have to be EXTREMELY trusting as we definately are natural flirts. 3) They are going to have to be the ones to adjust because most Gemini’s absolutely love who they are and probably arent going to change much about themselves just to be with another. I know it sounds harsh but that is just who we are. And I love me!
I just me an Aquarius for the first time. This guy definately has a magnet just as strong as mine is. And he is absolutely gorgeous. The thing is he knows it and I am finding that annoying. This is the most accurate description of a Geminis I’ve read so far! However, there is another side of Geminis who can make decisions quickly, be very smart, extemely independent, and very sensitive. I should know because I was born under the signs of the twins and I’m a real twin. My twin sister and I are like night and day, but we are two peas in a pod at the same time. Our friends LOVE hanging out with us because they can’t believe we are twins since we act so differently. Anyhoo, great article! Hello, I am a 45 year old gemini woman and I just wanted to tell Becky that I really enjoyed reading your post about geminis. You’re very on point. I also wanted to tell ‘Algebra’ that I absolutely LOVED reading your post. I could relate completely with all that you said. Especially about how gemini are very sensitive and need warmth and affection. So true! I recently learned that I have some cancer in my chart. I think it’s in venus. You might have it too because you sound so much like me, more than the other gemini I’ve read comments from. I am also about to marry a scorpio next month and we get along extremely well even though gemini and scorpio are notoriously poor matches. I think it’s the cancer in my venus that makes us a very nice fit. You mentioned that you have also had good luck with scorpio men. My sister and my daughter are both scorpio and we also get along incredibly well. So again, I think, as Becky says over and over in her comments to people, that it’s not just about your sun sign being in gemini. The placement of other signs in various parts of our charts also has a powerful effect on us.
I was married to an aquarius when I was 24 and he was a very good friend but I was just not ready to settle down (not too many gemini should marry young, I think). Then I married an aries who I had my daughter with. He was a good person but we never did the work to understand each other and our marriage was filled with misunderstandings and power struggles. Gemini can be very strong-willed and of course Aries are as well. So now I am marrying a Scorpio. What I like about us is that we’ve been friends for almost 4 years.
