The Aquarius Woman
Aquarius women are in a way even stranger than their male counterpart (if that is possible). You can tell an Aquarius woman, I feel, rather easily just by the way in which they are dressed. Anyway, yes, Aquarius women do not dress according to society’s whims of fashion. They often dress according to how they feel, or even what they happen to find in their wardrobe that day. Bohemian, I suppose would be a good way to describe these Women, a bit offbeat and unusual. But they always look out of this w
orld. And the annoying thing for the rest of us girls is that the Aquarius Woman doesn’t even go out of her way to do so, they just naturally look good. When I think of an Aqua Woman I actually think of a guitar and beads, bare feet and a tent. They are wonderfully creative and artistic and can normally do more than one thing very well. I have known several Aquarius women and all of them played the guitar, sang and were very good at craft. And they were really good too, not just a little bit (like me). Lest not forget the late and amazing Eva Cassidy who had both guitar and voice and talent. The Aquarius woman has the ability to make it big time if they so choose. Some of them do, and some of them are just content to spend out their day’s living the boho lifestyle, being wonderful in other ways. I often feel quite sorry for this woman also. Not because they are needy and not able to cope with the big bad world, no, quite the opposite in-fact. They are highly capable people and demand a great deal of independence in every-way possible. They do not like being a dependent or to be made to feel they are being looked after. Aquarius women often work best in a relationship taking on the male role. And just like many men, these women will certainly NOT want a joint bank account! They will not always be there when you want them to be. And may also forget to tell you where they are at all. However, if you need them then you’re OK, they will look after you. They can also be arrogant, and can easily cut you like a knife with their words if they so chose. And if you get in their way or do something that displeases them then you will learn quickly that these women mean business. It’s best to do things her way, as it is quite obviously the best way….in her eyes. Quite a number of these girls will also be heavily into the environment and nature in general. Vegans and vegetarians are often of this sign also. As parents these women will not be conventional. They believe their children should be educated of-course, but not perhaps in the same dull way that most of us have to put up with. The Aquarius woman makes things happen you see. She never sits there moaning how awful the world is, she gets up and does something about it, and you can only look on and respect her for it. I shall describe the fascinating women like typhoons I think. Strong, assertive, able, but with the ability to be destructive and cause a bit of angst to those around her. I like the Aquarius Woman. They certainly make great friends and one thing’s for sure; there will never be a dull moment! These characteristics are based fully on a persons sun sign. Therefore may not be 100% accurate for everyone as there are lots of different aspects of one’s chart to take into consideration.

Hi, I’m born February ninth and I just happen to be an Aquarius.
(THE BEEEEESSSSSTTTTT YYYYAAAAAALLLLL!)
This is, in general a good article. But I must say, my dear, that your punctuation is quite grievous.
I DO NOT approve an agree with everything that you wrote–like the part where you said :

The way it was written sound QUITE sexist. It is offesive. And this was also offensive:

We are NOT arrogant–just simply confident, my friend. And as you, should know from your “16 years of knowing people”, that is highly intimidating to the every day person.

Hello Grace, I must thank you for making me laugh. I am aware that my punctuation isn’t that great. I simply write what I want to say..I am not here to write about English Grammar. Nothing I have written is sexist..and as for arrogance you seem to be quite full of it MY DEAR!!! I am fully aware of the confidence in Aquarius people, but as you have shown, they can have a nasty bite with a whiff of arrogance. Thank you for demonstrating this so beautifully!
By the way, I think you should consider checking your punctuation and spelling yourself MY DEAR.
I take it you are an Aquarius woman having a bad day perhaps. Still, your opinion is approved and as appreciated as everyone else’s.

But I feel that when things go a bit wrong the Aquarius female can become a little arrogant. Not all the time. Mysterious and powerful, as bi-product of flight necessity even as our obvious qualities shine so brightly that we often are blind to them. Arrogance is a word and all written things are subjective so bear the Grace in mind… As an air sign in my vista, being one as well, the capability to be many places instantaneously and straight to heart of them also (because of their fixed nature) is the objective combo (duality) that is oft interpreted as arrogance. Simply travels about picking essence from essence and combining the whole meaning in the pursuit of truth, their greatest quest/gift/blind spot- thus the rest if one can interpret objectively enough. What an ironic handful though as air cannot be captured, so the scent it leaves is the whiff we perceive. beautiful women. perfect strangers. whirlwinders.

Very good observations, being an Aqua woman…I have to agree that you’re very correct all around. As for the arrogance, I will agree with you on that too
However, I don’t think its “arrogance” in the traditional sense? When we think of people being full of themselves, we tend to think of that as a negative, however, I don’t believe that this is necessarily the Aquarian’s goal? I believe its a combination of their own understanding of their uniqueness? You mix the fact that these women “know” they are unlike most and add in some self confidence…its easily confused with true, full of themselves, arrogance–I really believe the Aquarian revels in their own uniqueness a little too much

After a few days, this webite popped into my head again. And I had wondered if you had written back. Most of the people behind such websites as these invite their veiwers to send an e-mail and never reply. But surprisingly, Becky dear, you did. Good job!
But after reading the comment I was dissappointed. For shame… IT HAS HAPPENED AGAIN–another common misunderstanding of another person from another sign. I see during my absence, that other Aquarians have somewhat reitterated what I attempted to explain to you: That aquarians are not arrogant.

Even I am born on Feb 9th..I felt some of them are true facts in my life too. I dont like joint account..also the words that describe they cope up with bad world..its 100% true…Through out my life my childhood till now I have come across people who have cheated me..in one way or other..I shd say its absouletly right ..And the way they dress not for others and are bit odd..its true in my case.. its so true the way you described..

Lol,yes I found it all rather amusing myself! Still, what can you do! You can’t please all the people all the time. I know I write some negatives about signs but I find that people tend to empathise more with the negative for some strange human reason. I just have the guts to write it down! I have never been good at sugar coating life lol I guess some people just don’t like facing the fact they are not as perfect as they would like!

Some of my assessment of aqua women.
There is something uniquely charming about this woman. She is unconventional, don’t try to understand her mind, you will be clueless for the rest of your life.
Usually an honest person but keeps her privacy (curious about others). Doesn’t open up easily. Mostly thinks about marriage and stability in relationships. When in love, she is excited to the extent of being ridiculous (particularly marriage). Relatively unfortunate in love might be due to her independent streak, detachment or unconventional behaviours. Can be prone to excessive depression in turbulent love matters or when rejected. She also has the ability to live without a man but not for long.
Likes to have lot of men around in various roles as supporters/friends/helpers/lovers possessing special curiosity to know them from inside. Always have intentions to use these men for some work. But faithful to those only closed to her. Appears emotionally detached but is very sensitive to minor comments/satire (doesn’t show it). Composed but lack a bit of sophistication and refinement.
Unique dress sense often very unconventional. Likes to travel, explore, go to places, party, and social gatherings. Fun loving, easy to talk to, good in conversation.
Family is very important to her which is also a source of turbulence. Often may appear confused, scatter-brained, and lacking confidence but has a firm stickness and determination towards her goals and ambitions. She doesn’t want to be tied down and domesticated.
Surely, they are not really my type but when they are not depressed as well as thinking about humanity, I do enjoy having their company and conversation.

I have to say that I don’t really understand the depression bit. I think all Aquarius people can come across like they are depressed due to their ability to go into themselves and they also have a deep thought process which takes them away from this world. But I wouldn’t say they suffered more than normal with depression…they do sulk…

The depression bit in aqua women? These are so cheerful women, PROVIDED, they are in the right mood but when they are down, they can put the whole atmosphere down.
I had an aqua friend who usually has been unlucky in love matters (always have break-ups). And Oh God, does she get depressed about it that you feel like running away from her. As a pisces (said to be good listeners), she always used to tell me her ordeals in love and family matters until realised that I don’t have to absorb other’s depression. So I distanced myself.

i must say ur this article is 200% true about me being an Aquariun but obviously not to all those aquariuns out there as becky said it depends on ur whole birth chart. its just an information posted about aquariuns it dont have to be applied on evry single aqauriun women. You pick the bit applied to u and just talk about that and just mention what didn’t apply to u instead of arguing about it.

i didn’t read all of the comments here to know more about whats going on but i just read last comment which said “pisces (said to be good listeners)” i so not belive on that honstly who will know better then me lol. i got one friend pisces female. we been togather maybe 2 years or something the reson we was togather that long only because i let her talk about her problems all the time and dont talk alot about me because all she’l do is node her head lol. its the other way around on what u said dear Aly.

I disagree with ALY that aquarian women uses her supporters/helpers/lovers/…etc for getting her work done.. This is absoultely false.
Also one needn’t hear to or listen to someone’s break-ups it was thier choice to hear her.
Aquarian women by nature are humanitarians..
one have no right to put that quality down in her. Obviously if she loves some one deeply it doesn’t mean the other person take advantage of her.. one wouldnt get the same type of person (one or 2 dislikes) even if it is arranged marriage..you wouldnt get all qualities you like or how you want your wife to be. Each human being in that sense is different..

Thanks for your comments. I know a couple of aquarius women but sorry to say that I have found them disbalanced.
I had a really good friend once, we started very well, but as our relationship grew, I found out that she has started to tell me every sad thing happening in her life: her problems in dealing with people, her issues with law, issues with her mother being very controlling (gemini), her break-ups with bfs, blah blah blah. Just to develop the relationship, I had to listen with empathy but realised that I was becoming her emotional dump.
We started great with lots of interesting conversation but as time passed I realised that from a cheerful women whose company I thoroughly enjoyed once has been turning into just a sympathy receipient. She had nothing to offer but just her worries about relationships and her not-being married problems. When I realised it, I had to distance myself.
One of my aunts (aqua) also appears disbalanced saying one thing and then turn away from what she said. In this email, I can’t write her insanities (larger than Lord of the Rings trilogy).
I agree that aquarius women are humanitarians and they have other good qualities as well (that’s in every zodiac) but their detachment, lack of expression at times, sulkiness, attempts to dominate the situation, attention seeking behaviour, are big turn-offs.

With all due respect (as a fellow aquarian) I actually agree with the “arrogance” thing. As it says in the dictionary, the word arrogance is another word for proud. Which many aquarian people have, they have pride and they are a fixed zodiac. It’s nothing to be ashamed of, everybody has their flaws. Hey everyone.. First please excuse my ignorant gramer I am an awful writer. Okay I fell so deeply in love with the most intense erotic everything Aqua chic. I just feel so used and hurt by her I know I should not believe in this horoscope stuff but wow I adored or still adore her. Okay well I was heart to heart with her for over 2yrs I did the whole platonic thing i never held her down or even pushed the issue but she dropped me so quick for a guy who totally bamboozled and got in her pants ASAP. She just could not tell me the truth she would hold the deepest lies and secrets and i basically cuaght or knew she was involved with someone.
Well she gave into this guy and not is obsessed and being sex controlled by him. She tried so hard i think to gain my trust back.. I truly thought she loved me as a deep friend or she does and i pushed her away. She would say just be cool with me.,.Well one day im on the phone and he walks in and whamo she shut off the phone in my face. OFF for 12 hrs . She is in lust and bondage..anyway.. for the past2 months she tried calling me a number of times and we talked briefly..the friendship basically is different. Yes i was in a romance with her.. and yes i fell in love with her.. I am not sure what i should do with this.. walk away??? or be tormented hurt in a wierd way. Did I want her YES .. Thanks for the arrogant comments, reminds me to tone down and take inventory. I don’t think that we are arrogant as much as we see the picture from a different perspective and get frustrated that people don’t see the same thing that we do. So, in spite of the thunderstorm, I am retreating to the backyard where I set up a large white tent for the summer.

There are some things I disagree with in the article, but overall- from an Aquarius female- I find it pretty interesting and spot.
This site contains many interesting articles. The easy access to different sections on the side is great.
@Aly: I think the turn-offs you mention have more to do with the individual than their star sign. You seem to generalize the bad traits of aquarius folk on the two aquarius people you knew (or more?). The woman who dumped her trouble on you was just a bad friend; that had nothing to do with her sign and to misplace that on aquarius women is unfair. All signs, just like all people, have their negative side. You have turn-offs as well, but that doesn’t mean pisces should be avoided. Those of aquarius do have negative traits, but- this is only my view- but, like with every sign, the good far outweighs the bad. It is when we get to timing of birth and individual traits that things become tricky. I hope you find a good aquarius friend in the future who can, perhaps, change the stigma you hold toward the aquarius sign.

Oh! I also do not mean to speak ill of your friend; it was uncalled for to claim her bad. I just do not believe that being unbalanced or balanced has anything to do with the sign, and that is more of the individual females you have met as opposed to the “typical” aquarius traits. To claim aquarius females are attention-seeking and always have to dominate the situation and such-isn’t that more of the person as opposed to the trait? For, yes, there are aquarians who have those traits but also ones who don’t want anything to do with the spotlight and would rather support a situation, not dominate it. Whether someone gives and takes in a relationship is not solely based on their sign, just like the good and bad of someone doesn’t depend solely on their sign. (I may be reading your post wrong, however; due apologies if that is not what you are saying).
Then again, this may be a ramble. Either way I truly hope you can find a good aquarius friend who emphasizes more of these “general good astrology” traits of the aquarius sign with geat individual traits to back it up.

When i read the article, i laughed after hoe true it was. When i read the comments there they made me laugh more (but not as much as romantic comedy make-up “i love you” movie scenes, though). I happen to agree with everysingle thing (You and this person who comented Mikayla).
Another thing about Aquarius is that some Aquarius are either hyper, active and confident or shy, and a little (i said a little) reserved. Believe it or not I’m more of the shy kind.
Sorry about the long message, i just don’t know what to do. I’m kinda bored (not of your website, if thats what you think i mean, cause it’s nice).

Aquarius rocks! there different an you will never find two the same.Cool headed, independant,like anything different, think out of the square. i know aquarians an we can addmit they can come accross selfish on occasions but that is not there intentions at all!.Once they find a partner they will always want them around but if the aquarius does not get sometime to he/she’s self, others mite find them short tempered an stressy. with an aquarian there will never be a dull moment.If your friends with aqua,you can go for months without hearing from them but dont think they have forgoten about you, Once you finally hear from them its like you was talking to them yesterday..

I am English and live in the U.K so I find it quite interesting. Yes she is an Aquarius and many U.S Presidents have been in the past. Aquarius people in my opinion have exactly what is needed for the job, however, their individual opinions will obviously differ and I have to say that I in no way agree with anything she stands for at all!!

I want to appologize for some of the Aquarius comments…sometimes we can read way too much into what people are saying and have our own interpretation and there is no changing our way of seeing things…something we all have to work on to truly grow as a person. Sometimes we alienate ourselves on purpose because we are labeled “weird” or “eccentric” but in a bad way by other signs that are narrow minded in there thinking so we tend to always be on guard. You say you are Gemini so you understand us better than most so I take what you say as constructive critism or just merely your observation.
I am interested in a Gemini guy who I have know for a long time and just recently got back in touch with. Are we compatible?

Thank you for your comment. I love Aquarius people and in no way mean to offend anyone, we all have are own unique quirky way’s..me more than many! Gemini men and Aquarius girls does work,it usually does work better the other way around just because the Aquarius is a masculine sign and like to control more but I truly believe that Gemini men need Aquarius women. My brother is a Gemini man married to a wonderful Aqua lady and would be really lost without her. Of course the quick answer is a simple ‘yes’!

Basically if your birthday falls on for example, Feburary 19,20 or 21st then it is on the cusp. This means that you will have traits of both signs and it may also feel like you never really know which sign you are. As a Pisces you will feel as though you have more Aquarius characteristics than what you read of the Pisces person.

What’s up with the attraction between Virgo and Aquarius. I’ve read that both signs are intellectual and enjoy discussions in the mental realm. I have to tell you, my marriage to my Virgo husband (28 years) has been no bed of roses. It’s been very up and down because Virgo is nitpicky and critical, and Aquarius hates to be criticized!! So, I don’t see how McCain and Palin will get along that well at all, if they make it to the White House.
My husband does have an Aquarius moon, so that compliments my Gemini moon well. If he didn’t have that moon, we’d be doomed!

First I am aqua with aqua rising Feb 2 I thought your observation was pretty accurate! for the most part.
I guess I’m a little surprised with the coment about punctuations …big deal if you forget a coma,period etc.Please don’t worry about it it certainly didn’t distract me one bit.
The one thing,regarding depression Aqua’s get very heavy in thought and appear to be on another planet sometimes when ppl are talking,or they go off on there own to figure things out,I don’t see that as depression..we deal with all that stuff like any sighn or person would.
If you look at some things that have been written about Aquas its kinda annoying like we are so aloof-detatched and unemotional—geeze you wonder why anyone would want us? I find all that NOT true for me almost the opposite I have scorpio friends and I am more emotional then them,so its not always correct what the write.
As usual me being Aqua-has a hard time ending conversations..lol

I also agree with the emotinal part, I am an aqua and I am extremely emotional and sensitive as hell, and I never seem to know why! I’ve given up the idea of being detached and unemotional, it seems impossible. Myabe becouse I’ve been affected by the emotional peopel around me.
Even if aquarius has been known for being detached and aloof at times, this doesnt necessarily mean we are all alike.Some people Though prefer someone who is like that , Its more (practical) for them.
No matter how annoying and “know it all” aquarius is there is always someone out there who appreciates the genious streak and unpredictable nature that they posess.

What you will find is that the closer your birthday is to the beginning of Pisces 21st Feb the more emotional you will become. Aquarius is a very emotional sign but if there not encouraged at an early age to show how they feel then they will simply just bottle it up causinga lot of pent up torture.

I’m an Aquarian woman (2-14) and I LOVED the write up. I think that sometimes, the Aquarian woman can be a bit “judgemental” and can have very little tolerance for other people who try to “invade” their zone, so to speak. They are NATURAL warriors. They know they are unique and have often been ridiculed for being this way. I think the “detached” quality is viewed as being “arrogant.” The Aquarian is simply trying to protect themselves.
I also think that they can be overly confident at times. They take GREAT pride in their work and are very proud of themselves because they do something “well” (relative). This is particularly pronounced amongst those that have suffered (and still suffer!) with low self esteem.
Regarding the arrogance…..I was told just the other day (by my student) that someone best described me as being very “confident.” I was a bit confused–as I didn’t know how to take this. Am I not to be confident in the subject area of which I instruct? It seems that I have come across as arrogant (I think they use the wrong adjective at times!) to people, but I will be the first to say that I am: very helpful (to the point of exhausting myself!), HONEST, caring and believe in fairness. This is how I have been described by people, as well.
One of the things that I despise is to see someone treated UNFAIRLY. It hurts to the core. And believe me: If I feel that I have been disrespected, I will address the issue in a tactful (VERY hard for Aquarians to do!) manner.
I choose not to “judge” someone OR their work unless I am adept at doing so. Let’s not be so shallow; look beneath the surface, judgemental, still “developing”, fellow Aquarians! Unless you’re writing/editing for the New York Post or some other periodical, try having a “softer approach” when it comes to critiquing one’s work.

I totally agree with you about people being treated badly-I too always go for the under-dog I can’t handle anyone being treated poorly I get very angry and will go to battle with anyone who this happens too.
I also agree with the Judgemental point-I can be and work very hard not to do this its my first reaction sometimes-and yet I detest this kind of attitude and I catch myself doing it sometimes..
My confidence depends on my mood, days I feel I know everything, other days I question everything…
Aquas are hard on themselves especially when it comes to doing the right thing I always battle that.

I have been dating an Aquarian women and Iam a Leo man. Well, i guess you could say that we are very different and our needs are very different. First, I would directly comment on Mr. Aly, “Sir, it is a pleasure that you have analyzed the nature of aqua-women but let me tell you that living a person or a friend at bad times is not a true friend. You are talking about a friend and you are criticizing the person or back stabbing the person. Do you think you are a genuine person yourself? Every person has ups and downs in life, do not you feel like discussing your bad incidents or moments of life with your friends. If in case, they ignored your emotions and departed from your life, then would you be in a gay mood or you would be in grief. Answer me….??????????
No body has such free time to listen and solve others problems in life, but still we are human beings we need companions to look vibrant and alive. We need to enjoy life and for that purpose we need friends, isn’t dear. You cannot live anybody during their bad times in life. In case, you are doing that you are self-centered individual.
Undoubtedly, aquarians are often quite depressed but ignoring them in this way must be a work of a disloyal friend. I hope what I am portraying is quite clear to everybody who is reading this comments.
So, next time respect your friends if you want respect in return because aquarians are quite dangerous at times, so beware!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh wow Becky! You are sooooooooooooooo awsome. This fits me almost like T. That is so true, I dress how I feel. Like when I am feeling kinky, dark, goth, I dress like that. Though, I must disagree. I proud to say I like my meat!!! And there was nothing sexist about that one section you wrote, how capable and strong we are. That right there is a compliment. There’s nothing wrong with being, strong, powerful, firery woman. And I got to say, it hard to find a man that likes this in woman. I meet so many men that want to resuce me, and I don’t need a knight, all I want is warrior man, that matches with my warrior woman, that understands, I am indepent, I am who I am. I just looking for a friend.
And that is so true. I am not afarid to speak my mind, and some do not like that, nor do I really care. Because, if someone got something to say, they should just say it. How could people know where one stands if you don’t speak up! I wouldn’t say I am aggrogant, but I would say I am trueful, which could come across as aggrogant, because I say it how I see it, you know? Say might view it as also being tactless, but it’s not. For me, I am tomboy, who isn’t afarid to be feminity. I workout, I am really fit. And I am very competative, I am go getter, and yeah I do not sit around and mob. To Floyed. That’s how we are. I know I am. I am not the one who always going to say, ” ok”, hold your hand and tell you how I feel. I am going to show by actions. In relationship, I always get the bad end of the stick. I get men who are interested in me, once they have me they get scared for insure reasons, because they cannot handel how capable I am. I had man dump me because he thought I was too beautiful. And he got jealous everyone wanted to be around me. Or get the men, that can’t wait for me to return when I decied to have little adventure.
I been hurt in relationship involing men, and I learn quickly from my mistakes and I take things slow. We have to get to trust you, once we trust you, we’ll let you in.

Aly, I have to really disagree with you. I am 25, and I been single all my life. Marriage is the last thing on my mind. I could live MY WHOLE LIFE without a man, I don’t need a man to make me happy. Because I am sure within myself and very capable person. And when there comes a problem I fit it right away. The whole detact bit, for me is I am not all touchy feeling. If I don’t know a person, I won’t even open up to the person, until I get to know them and have their trust.
What I don’t understand is, if this woman annoy you so much with all her emotionally garbage why did you sit there and listen to her? You could have spoken with your feet and just left.
I know a lot people who know how to handel their problems and I know a lot of people that don’t. Anyone can fall into that catagory of sitting on their ass all day in dark place.

However, it sounds very much to me that Aquarian women or maybe just you and the one i know, want things on their terms and that the men in there lives must just understand there needs and not question it- I guess thats why they have such trouble keeping guys!!! Its not being needy that compels me, its just a simple matter of if you like someone show it! If you with me your with me mind body and soul! I expect nothing, and if you dont WANT to kiss me and love me than WHY the hell are u with me!!! i should not have to ask. however, If i must except and resepect your NEED for space then it works both ways dont you think! Cause that is a need either way you look at it!
I dont mind if she not want to give me those needs but then she must not expect me to fifull her needs. Relationships are Reciprocal!Its about compromise, and understanding of why people have certain needs! If i give you yours and you give me mine then we have both grown by going beyond ourselves!
The fact of the matter is that, Aquairan women get hurt in relationships because of this trait and then this just further reinforces that if they remain distant they will not get hurt! Basic psychology. However, they end up getting hurt anyway, by pushing people away!!!
I dont have time for games, nor do i need to suffer to make things work-hence i broke up with my aquairan girl-to much effort and to many issues! this really broke her and now we are trying to sort things out between us, where both of us come to the party not just one expecting from the other! there are things I will tolerate and there are things I will not! Im very caring, very affectionte, sensitive, understanding and never ever hurt intentionally. This can be mistaken for a weakness, but at the end of the day Im a leo and we all know that Leo’s have a cold, dark side to. Question, Did you ever sit her down and tell her how you felt? Did you ask her if she loved you? For realationship to work there has to be commuation and learning to give and take.
Question, are you the type a guy that needs a woman to always tell you, that they love you? Do you need a woman who ALWAYS shows their affection? By kissing, hugginig, and ect? So you are sure that they love you?
Because, my family and friends are NOT touching feeling, and I am not that way. Nor do they tell me all the time that they love me. I know they love me, because of their actions. Such as they are always there when I need help, they listen to me when I have a problem. And I am confident in myself so I do not all this touchy feeling sentiments to be scure with myself.
Because, it seem to me you are not confident in yourself to be around a woman who doesn’t say or give you the affection that says “I love you.”
Question, was she there for you, when you needed her? Did she put up with you, when you were being stupid? Did she toloranct the things about you that annoy her? Did she take you out? Did she do things with you?
If a woman does all the things I just mediton, that tells me she cares.
I will tell you, I was with a man who was very screw up, I didn’t know he had Schoperhia. He was very depress man. He would have a problem that was soooooooooo small and blow it up very big. I loved him so much I would keep giving him the same advice over and over no matter how annoyed I was with him.
I would dress sexy for him, and he got mad. I would try to kiss him, he just sit there not happy.
I would go to him when he wanted to meet up with me and he never came, he stood me up many times, and still I waited for him. I put up with his abuse, because I loved him so much.
I didn’t always tell him I loved him, and when I did, he just didn’t care. I would try to talk to him see what was the matter with him, and he wouldn’t talk. Finally, he dumps me for being too beauifully, and that he hated that men and women were talked to me think I was attractive.
I will agree with you, that she needs to show in same way that says I love you. If she doesn’t and just sit there like lump on the log, you just need to move on and forget her.
Now, it seemed like she cared for you, because she is hurt by it. But I am saying, you do seem like your needy. And maybe you need a woman who always to be glued to your side and smutter you in kisses.
If you have any interest in being with her again. I suggest that you tell each other your rules. And you need for each other. To be clear.

In relationship you cannot demand love, or affections. Love should be free-spirted. If someone demands me to hug them and kiss them in return for my space. Then that isn’t love. It becomes a chord, an expectation. But if I kiss you, or hug you, or do something for you, out of the blue then my actions mean something, they are speical.
So maybe, and we Aquariuars, she feels you demand love and affection from her. And that to me is like telling me what I should and shouldn’t do. Aquariuars need to feel free to do what they want in relationship. Because, if I was with you and you demanded from me love and affection that I had to do it when you give me space. I am going to give you the finger, open a window and throw you out the window and enjoy the sight wondering if you could really fly.

To Gen and Midnight. I totally agree with you. If I am in a realationship and that person cheats on me. That is the end of it. I don’t put up with that silliness. Once you betray your trust you’ll never see me again. I wipe you away from my life compeletely.
That is so true. For me, it seem when I give myself compeletely too soon in a relationship, the person dumps me, because they want nothing to do with me. So now, I become detact until that person shows me that they want me in their life, that I can trust them. That the moment I show affection that says I love you, they don’t runaway because their scared. They must prove to me, that their loyal and such.
In my opinon it is always good to go slow in a realationship and get to know the other person. Because if you rush, it usually doesn’t work out, because you don’t know one another as well as you could. For me if someone is too fast, it scared me and I walk away.
It’s really hard finding a real man that likes a strong capable woman and apperacties her indepentance, and her strong sense of self, and will.

Totally Loved your Aquarius overview and I agree with it 100%. I was born on the 19th of Feb, so I am on the cusp of Aquarius and Pisces.. although I definately have more of the aqua traits.
This whole arrogance / confidence debate thats going on, I think both opinions are correct, but it depends on what kind of person you are as to what you take from it. I have been known to be very cutting at times in my remarks, but NEVER on purpose. I hate hurting anyones feelings so I don’t like to think of it as arrogance, but I guess the person on the receiving end could.

I am a teenage girl of almost fifteen, and when i look for horoscopes for my own age, I find almost nothing. It is terrible, because i realy like this scorpio guy, and he is so deep, and shy, and funny, but stangelyr outging , that I feel like I cannot find a correct reading for my age, when all horoscopes are for adults. I love astrology, and I wish that they had a young teen version. We have our own problems, and it feels like they are not addressed in horoscopes.

Thank you for your comment and you make a good point. I got into astrology when I was 14 so I understand how you feel. Astrology is for everyone ofcourse but the thing is that when you are young you are still finding out who you are, still developing into the person you will turn out to be and there can be a lot of confusion.
I think for an astrologer to write horoscopes for young people would not be a great idea as you need to have a very open mind to understand astrology and the minds of young people are, although highly developed, can be quite easily influenced. Although I believe fully in this subject I also believe that it should not be taken lightly. I have known quite a few younger people who have been given advice by lesser astrologers and forgot to live there lives how they wanted, they followed everything that was said and ended up in quite a bit of trouble. Astrology is like a guide it can help you imrove your lot in life, find out who you are and get to know the people around you much better. But I fully believe that when you are young you really need to grow and find your path yourself.

i just dont see a detached trait in a aqaurius bone…..???!!!! i am a pisces/rooster woman, and every aqaurius that i have had a relationship with has always became attached to me……..they smother me with their jealousy and insecurness to the point it makes me want to run away!!!!!but dont get me wrong…i love it!!!!but the aqaurius that i am currently in a relationship with now, is the only one i feel deeply in love with…she gives me so much water that i just cant get enough and yes i have so much room to swim!!…..she has taught me everything i know…she helped me thru college,she puts me up on so many ideas! she even kicked some ones a$$ over me!!((the situation with her kicking somes a$$ over me was unexpected, some one was flirting with me but was left alone 2 weeks later i didnt know what was going on until one of my friends ran to me and told me she had confronted some one and all of a sudden she smashed there head into wall…very sad but shes something serious, all aqaurians are))i was hurt about that cause i wouldnt want my aqaurius to hurt herself…anyways……every where we go she appear to be a leader!!! and shes a very wise person, a philosopher i say….oh and by the way, remind you ppl…..shes a aqaurius/snake what i just descibed here in this message about her is wayyyyyy different from other aqaurians and i see a lot of difference…the first real and most loyal-loving relationship i have ever had…oh my goodness and her sex is the best!!!!!!!soorry, the rooster side of me is making me brag so much about her……..i love my aqaurius/snake………….and will do almost any and everything for her….

I kind of have a guy problem, a REALLY weird one. You see there is this guy that goes to the same university as me, and we both hangout with the same huge group. I am really good friends with most of his friends, and when we all go out for some fun, usually we are both in the same group. Usually, when this kind of thing happens, the guy and I will become good friends, and start dating. But with this Scorpio, it’s almost like we are playing a game with each other. We come really close to talking to each other, and then chicken out. I have never had this happen, it seems so adolescent. I am almost POSITIVE that he likes me, because my best friend (born may 21, guy) says that he stares at me when I’m not looking, and will come up close behind me, and talk to his friends. This whole “Mental Relationship” was possibly the most fun I have had in a long time. It’s a thrill. But now I’m ready for us to quit the game and start talking and being friends, maybe more. I really like this guy, his friends say that he is shy, and most of his female friends know that I like him. He is goodlooking (but not in a way you would expect) and ultra funny, and nice. Playing this game for 4 months. I’m bored and there are other guys. can you give me some advice??

have you ever considered the idea that people of all signs flock to you to discuss their jealousies and insecurities? i feel like aquarians aren’t affected by jealousy nearly as much as other signs, however, i do realize that one of my best friends in high school was pretty much one of my best friends because he was an intuitive listener. i felt comfortable talking to him about ANY problems 1 on 1, like i wasn’t being judged, as did many other people. even if i was just being jealous. his sign was pisces.
i’ve met many other pisceans and they all seem to possess the thing aquas lack: empathy for individuals.
Maybe we’re just too oblivious to the feelings of others, often to our own selves! It is very hard to find good listeners because most signs are very self absorbed until the final stages of the zodiac, hence Pisces
Also, I’ve noticed Pisceans are stacked with other people’s problems, which causes them to want to flake out and live inside a fantasy world where bad feelings don’t exist. Basically too many people drain their ability to use their gift of compassion, so they retreat into a sanctuary and avoid contact with people.

As for tokio and the other teens, I agree with Becky that you are still in the process of maturing. As a 20 year old college student, I know for a fact a huge chunk of my peers are still searching for themselves. I believe you can recognize astrology in kids easier than adults, however, it is very important to realize that kids have not yet gone through the conditioning of finding out what they’re capable of doing (good or bad, often due to less experience with emotions).
the thing that separates adults from kids is that smart adults eventually learn “it isn’t what to say, but when to say it.” you can think your horoscope is wrong right now, but give yourself some time to grow and when you reflect on your experience in as little as 5 years you’ll start to realize not only recurring themes, but the timing of them.
For example, being described as possessive doesn’t really include the time when you were 8 and just got a new puppy or the time when you were 12 and your first girlfriend started talking to other boys. Who wouldn’t be at first?
However, I’ve met guys who are 27 that continue to fall to that same emotion of possessiveness, and it might as well be their first time feeling that way, to the point where you can describe their CHARACTER as being possessive. And I’m sure there are 80 year olds and above that are possessive too.
And the funny part? Some girls like it, and some don’t. Some don’t need to be possessed, some need to be, but the fact of the matter is, you won’t know what you’re really like until you have experience.

Okay, so where do I start!!! I have read nearly every body’s comments thus far &I’m not sure what to make out of it!! I just love the fact that people are people no matter what star sign we are, we all have plenty in comman when it comes to “been a PERSON”!! I’m an aqua gal, who agrees &disagrees with our/my traits as an aqua, but like it’s said we aren’t all alike &can you just imagine if we were??!! I’m shy, anti-social, lack confidence, an introvert, quiet, narrow-minded &adore my own company!!!! Yet, I’m complete, happy, comfortable, open-up, open-minded, social &enjoy the feeling of been complete when with friends!! I treasure my friendships &have only less than a hand full of true &best friends. I’m emotional, take things seriously, I’m a perfectionist (which drives me insane), I’m a deep thinker, a good listener &adviser, love observing the people &things around me!! I love the smell &feel of fresh, cool, open air, I love my own company &free space, I look at things from a psycological/mental point of view most of the time!!
Yes, PRIDE is the best way to describe it!! I never knew I had pride within me, until a counceller once told me…I have pride &I need to deal with it!! We indeed have a strong sense of self &feel very STRONG about certain things &will stand firm at our beliefs!! I’m very accepting &understanding, yet I find myself been judgemental at times!! People can’t help WHO they are, but they can help WHAT they become because of that WHO!! I used to hate critizism, or hearing the truth, now I think It’s prob one of the best healings of one’s emotions &motivation for one’s own life!!! Better yet there are ways in dishing that out, but it always ends up with…. ..saying, “THE TRUTH HURTS” and/or “THE TRUTH WILL SET YOU FREE”
To add, I’ve been in almost a 3year relationship with a LEO GUY, we share a BEAUTIFUL 1yr 2mnth old son (named Boaz) together!!! I DO NOT KNOW IF WE ARE GOOD TOGETHER!! Wait, I do know, I just don’t want to admit it…maby??? Our relationship is based on hurt, unhappiness, brokeness, tears!! I frimly belief &keep saying we are not suited for one another!! He is an amazing listener, has extreme patience with me, where as I don’t with him.

I’m an Aquarius sun and moon scorpio rising. Whatch out! I’m the loud mouth Aquarius Type. Only shy and resevered if you don’t know me. Then I’ll come up with something outrages to say and make you look. I’ll tell you what I’m thinking in a minute. And laugh. I agree with the arrogant thing. I dont walk into the room with arrogance around me like I’m better than anyone. Just,confidence in knowing what I want and what I’m doing. I found myself quit humbling actually. I fight for the under dog too. First fight I got into was in 2nd grade when this kid was throughing things at a mental challenged kids . And theres many more times I have fought for the under dog and always will. I’m described by my friends as the crazy, silly one who will do anything once and I mean anything. Dont knock it if you havnt tried it. I never got why people say gemini and aquarius are good for each other friendship wise or romanticlly. I never liked a gemini. friends or lover. A lot of people think I am very mean, because I am straight forward, blut, and I’ll tell someone how I see it. It’s not because I am mean, I am actually very nice, but I am very truthful person. A lot people just can’t handel straight forward people, unless they come from Europe, where the people there are straight forward with everyone.

Ok, I totally disagree with my fellow Aqua girls who don’t like Geminis. I think they are extremely funny. And I was a big fan of Gemini cutie John Edwards when he was running for Prez last fall. Then, he did what most Geminis will do - he cheated on his wife Elizabeth. Now, that might be where Aqua can’t get along with Gem. Aquarians are not the type to cheat on. We are very loyal friends, lovers and partners and a cheating partner would do us in and break our hearts. Some people can forgive that, but Aqua sees it as lying and betraying. One thing an Aquarian can’t stand is a liar or a fake.
Don’t lie to Aquarius!!!
So in that regard, I can see why Gemini isn’t a good romantic partner for us, but they make good friends. Aquarians are unconventional so in a friend, we would be very supportive of an unconventional, non-traditional lifestyle. But I don’t think we’d support a cheating romantic partner because we see it as lying.
If Aqua and his/her partner agree up front that this is not a committed relationship, it might work. Therefore, Aqua and Gem can’t get married because Gem will stray. But they can make good lovers.
I like Gemini Becky very much and if she lived near me, I’d want to be her friend. Gem/Aqua make good friends.
Romantically, I think another Aquarian or Libra is best for Aqua. Fire signs are also a good match as long as the Fire sign (Leo, Aries or Sag) isn’t too dramatic. I hate too much drama - it’s such a turn-off to me.

I have to disgree with you. I am also an Aquarius born January 25th. Saying Aquarius don’t cheat in a realtionship is BS. Everyone is capble of cheating. Just because Astrogologry says, this sign doesn’t cheat, doesn’t mean that person of that sign can’t cheat. Everyone can cheat, cheating is a choice.

Im an aqua and i accualy get along really well with gemini’s, iv never been in a relationship with one but most my male friends are gemini an im always having a good laugh with them. I think female geminis can get 2 faced,Stuborn, an can carry on like a crazy person when told No. iv had a few gemini girl friends an when things wasn’t going there way you would think they was on medication!! but i find male gemini’s very easy going. The mane sign i would say i dont get along with would be male cancer’s. Hi all, i’m a fellow aqua girl that is born on the 26 of january. I use to be best friends with a gemini girl and i think that me and her were amazing together. I think that Gemini and Aquarius are the two most down to earth signs. Geminis are full of life just like the aquarian, they just don’t get as emotional as we do. (to me) I would get into one of my many mood swings while she remained her fun loving self. That part of me would be very annoying to her, and at times i couldn’t understand myself why i would get so angry at the stupidest things. i just can’t help it.
I wouldn’t say that i’m arrogant, but i have been told that i need to humble myself at times. To Kara: I agree with you with the Gemini female, I also find the Gemini male can be same way as the Gemini female. But again I disgree too. I recently, found out that my Aunt Sheerie is a Gemini, her and I act like best friends. When she told me, I was shock, because I usually clash with this sign.
Because she is very down earth, honesty, who always know where she stands, she doesn’t lie to you, she doesn’t do that two-face thing, that the Geminis in the past that I have met do, that really annoys me. Her husband (my uncle is also an Aquarius) Her and him get along really great. I mean they both act childishly, but in a good way, where it doesn’t get annoying.

My Auntie is June,15 And my uncle is January 22.
These two are two peas in pod. They get alone so well. They dated each other for 7 years, she fitted right into our family really quick. And we’re tight knit family. Like I said, she is very down to earth, nice, and she has a sense of humor, and she’s the motherly type. She is kinda like Paula Deen without the southern accent. Her and my uncle aren’t afarid to joke with each other, they pull each other legs all the time. They have that John and Yoko thing. You can see they really love each other. I hope to find someone like that for me. I want that Yoko and John love. That kind of love is hard to find, and when people that have that kind of love, it just makes me smile.
As I said, I was shocked when she told me she was a Twin. Because she doesn’t act like the Geminis I have met. But this makes me happy, that their are some Geminis I get along with. And you told me that too. LOL

i think the best match for aqua would probbebly be libra i find that me with libras we think so much alike, like somethings i say most people dont understand but libras are always on the same page. but some libras can get sooky an i cant stand sooky. I find that interested, because I get along well with cancer, and so with libera. I think what is hard for most Aquarius and this incules me. Is trying to find someone who likes you the way you are. I find it hard for me, to find a man who likes me the way I am, doesn’t ask the question “why” or where I feel they are trying to change me, because maybe the feel I change too match, or they don’t understand me, because I am “seen as being strange.”
I had friends, and the oppsite sex always question me why I did this and that, because it just drove them crazy. I would tell them. “Why, don’t you accept me for who I am. You are not going to change me. I have accpted you for who you are.” After I told them that, they keep asking me why? Or I had this man, who kept asking me why I chose to stay as virgin, unit I was married and after I told him all my reasons, he STILL asked me why.
Another good Aquarius that had a hard time having people accept who she was, would be Yoko Ono. A lot of people misunderstand that woman. But John accepted her for who she was, and understood she was creative, and was an artist, and he never question why she did anything she did. He just let her be Yoko. Where as everyone thought she was strange.
And something, and I think other Aquarius feel that way too sometimes, that world just views them as strange. We are very complex as they say we are ruled by two planets, instead of one.

Its my 3rd time that I’ve been in relationship with aquarius lady after 4 years, this time both of us being 16th of feb. Anyway i had lots feelings for her, she did like me too but I guess she didn’t have strong feelings for me as much as I had for her… anyway we lasted only 28 days cause she said she’s not yet over her x-boyfriend she was in relationship with 4 months ago. Hello all, interesting reading here, and to all the aquarian ladies here my best wishes to you. My girlfriend is aquarian, she is the most gorgeous woman I have known, personality & her looks, the eyes are to die for anyway where was I…ah yes!!. Some of the statements made here do not apply to her charector. I would not say she was arrogant far from it in fact, she can have moments of mood change but dont we all. Her bright charector is like a ray of sunshine, and although she is independant, which I strongly support, so am I. I see nothing but positive about her, and can only agree with part of the description, I can only guess not all Aquarians are the same. I am a Leo but not a typical one, I dont seek attaention in fact when I read the Leo description, I would not like him! You shouldn’t believe everything about what astrologys says. If you like the girl, give it a chance. How do you know if the relationship isn’t going to work, if you don’t go for it. Not all Aquarius women act the same, nor does Pisces men, or anyone of any star sign.
If it works, it will work, if it doesn’t, well, it doesn’t. What do you have to lose, in all and all it will be a learning experices.
If you want a relationship to work, you need to find out if the person wants the same thing as you.
2. Can you handel each other differences?
3. Do you commucate well?
4. Do you work well together. There so many things in making relationship work. Having ANY kind of relationship, there must be time and effort. You must love them enough, where you love them when they are stupid, love their falses and so on.
I say go for it, and don’t worry if these two signs are capatiable or not. If you worry about things that don’t need to be worried about, it stops you from living life.

Well…To me, Pisces Male and Aquarius Female is one of the most interesting relationship of the zodiac. It is full of ups and downs yet interestingly the mutual attraction (in any relationship) never fades with time. Taking previous posts, I agree with LittleImpaler on these (i) never, never, and never believe what the astrology says will be true always, and (ii) Don’t worry about the compatibility and don’t get too worried about it, otherwise, the fun of your life will be over.
In my opinion, if both Pisces Male and Aquarius Female have shared goals (not all of them), they accept each other’s differences of personalities and idiosyncrasies, learn to communicate well, and compromise to a certain extent (not too stuborn always) giving space to each other, there is a likely chance that this relationship can work even for a life (Not always as lovers but as good friends who respect each other for what they are).
My experience with aqua woman, the relationship of friendship at least never ends unless you want to put an end to it. The communication never stops and so is regards/respect for each other as friends even once you had a liking for each other.
Aquarius women though appear hard and detached from outside (they are strong willed) but from inside they are sensitive as well and get easily hurt. Never judge a book by its cover.

Hi all,
I am capricorn, and i just read through your comments, and decided to write something based on my own experience, i have met aqua women many years ago, and we seemed to really like each other a lot, after sometime the relationship ended………and the nightmare started, i felt guilty for my part of hurting her,and tried to reconsile, when she moved to london as i was devastated, she never replied - and yet over the years i receive silent calls from her. At first i thought it was geniune calls, that she missed me……
I am also from another country, and wrote to her that after our break up, want to create new memories, and thats why i stayed in the town. No reply, and yet the calls continued……to stop it all i wrote the last letter , where i for the last time explained that i loved her, and if she is just playing my head she should stop, or other wise meet me up( she was coming back now and then because of work) she never replied, but month after the letter , i heard she moved back into the town,…..and those calls( check up..or whatever) continued.
Even though she moved, i haven’t met her, and decided enough is enough..and started relationship with someone else.on one party got very drunk, and txt her - instead of my g/f, the next thing within a week she rang me being totally furious with me, and than someone rang and said if ill ever contact her , she will contact the police…………time passed by…..and again those silent calls, wrong numbers and so on……and i know it is her……..is this typical aqua womem……..and why is she doing this, u might think, it is someone else, but i know it is her…i have moved on, and yet find those calls so strange……

I am aqua too. And i think u have some misunderstanding with those calls. I think when an aqua is done with someone, he or she is REALLY done with them. They wouldnt go this sick rout of giving silent calls to someone just to trouble them. WHY…? Because its not worth our time. And like you said she is dating someone else, it shows that she has moved on. So why u think she would do that? And what makes you so sure that those calls came from her and not someone else. Why dont you ask her straightway about those calls?
I dont mean to annoy you but that isn’t normal aqua behaviour.

I thought the article was dead on and amazingly accurate…an aquarius woman has a certain style and flair that is just natural for her. I have often been told that I am a “different” type of woman, and I have felt it even as a small girl. As an aquarius woman I can definately agree with your point that when I feel unappreciated or doubted by those around me I can indeed become extremely arrogant! It is not in my nature to be arrogant always, but just when I feel it neccesary to assert myself. So you were right! Lol. ok, i didn’t get very far into these comments, because been an aquarian girl, i get offended by people that are misdirected and assualt others for no reason, if i have missed something, in those other 130 messages then i apologise, i was just going to comment on your quite spot on explanation of an aquarian woman, keeping in mind (as you said down the bottom of the article) that people have different ascendants, moon signs, north node signs, etc. so it can’t be 100% accurate, but it can be damn close! and i think you did it marvelously Becky =) so some people, for example, Grace, your views on sexism, are quite hostile, and arrogance my friend is definately part of an aquarian trait, whether you put it into confidence or no, what confident girl isn’t arrogant? I myself, am not too confident, but i am arrogant ,but then again i can also be shy and conservative, so dependance on mood, time and place, it can all be very all over the place. especially for a woman.

Rainbow, don’t be hurt by your aquarius woman, she only does it (from my own experience also) because she misses you, but she is too arrogant to admit that she does. The silent calls are because she wants to talk, but she can’t pucker up the courage or she feels embarassed. With the letters, sometimes we can get influenced easily, so it might not be her that was making the decisions about the police. We may be annoying, but we never intend to hurt people.. unless we REALLY don’t like them =)

I’m an Aquarius and I agree with most of the article. The author DID say that this was a general deliberation of an Aquarius so no one should be angered by anything that she said that didn’t apply to them. It makes no sense to argue about it after she said that it’s a general description. In the end everyone shapes their own personalities not Astrology. It’s just something interesting to read about. Becky I think that you did a great job with this article. In reality I am bluntly honest and I know that it can seem tactless but I just see it as humans liking for people to sugar coat things instead of telling the full truth. I can also appear arrogant too because I hate losing arguments and I will say that I’m right even though I know that I’m wrong. I’ve worked alot on this though. It’s not really arrogance. I just don’t like to lose…at ANYTHING. I do however have a soft side when it comes to my friends and animals. I am extremely social and nice overall and I tend to draw positive attention towards myself.

Im an aquarius girl and I do find that most of these characteristics apply to me. I dont really find it hard to make friends but I have the hardest time making friends with other females. I just cant for some reason. For the most part I have mainly male friends. I do have two female friends that I consider bffs that I’ve know since junior high and high school. One is an aquarius and the other leo. And after I took a look at what majority of my friends are they mostly are aquarius with a scattering of leos and Sagittarius. I cant seem to keep friends for long if they are not of those 3 zodiacs. I either forget about them or they get mad at me for some strange reason and becomes silent around me(Tarus).
I try my best to act normal but it never works out. Either I come off as aloof when I try to appear normal or like a crazy person when I open my mouth. People always makes comments that Im weird, odd and different even when I try to act normal. I even hear this from fellow aquarians.
My boy friend is an aquarian. He is one of my best friends. He doesn’t always fit the mold of the aquarius person. I find that he is sometimes clingy and a little jealous at times. I’ve been with him going 3 years and he still complains that Im not emotional enough and that Im too secretive. I dont understand how I come across as that to him at times, but oh well.
For the person who complained that her aquarius friend used her as a dumping ground dont take it so negatively. I think she felt that you were a friend that she could actually open up to. I know that I would never go on and on about my complaints to someone I knew if I didn’t consider them a really good friend. Now I might tell a stranger because who cares what that person thinks.
I never really wanted to believe the zodiac stuff but as I get older I find it to be so true.

i understand the friend situation. i had trouble with female friends for all my life. they came and went because i just picked the wrong ones. from them backstabbing me to misunderstandings to the kind of friends that really don’t give a damn.
so i’ve had an insane amount of male friends but those didn’t last either. mostly because i wanted more than a friendship with a few of them but anywho. i lost most of those friends because of my last relationship. i felt that i was being judged for having male friends by my ex. i know, stupid. in the end though i’ve enjoyed most friendships with males only because they understood me for some reason and i can be somewhat of a guy sometimes. i have 2 close female friends and the others are just whatever to me. i have one close male friend and another that i think is too strange for me.
overall, for me as a female aquarius, i have a huge difficulty in finding true friends. i’m struggling most with it right now and it’s quite heartbreaking. i don’t know if i’ll ever have the kind of friends that i’ve been searching for.

This is for Becky, I have just recently read the information on your sight. I enjoy it fully! Upon reading the comments on the Aquarian Women post, I was moved to respond. I enjoyed the post and found that it describes me, an Aquarian women, very well. Regarding the arrogance in us, I will say that it does exist and also that it is misconstrude by many. When I am arrogant it is because I do not see how another person cannot “get” the situation in the manner that I can see so clearly. This is when I need grounding and most of all I need to call on the gret love that I have for my fellow human beings.I have found peace and love to be more important than being right. I thought the article was funny! And all of the people getting mad about us Aquarian women being arrogant was just hysterical! I am an Aquarius female, and I will admit I’m arrogant sometimes but most of the time I am not. It is funny when I brag about winning something because I am really just trying to protect my ego. When I lose I try not to act like a sore loser.
I’ve always wanted to play guitar but I suck! Instead my creativeness goes towards writing and I’m actually a psychology major.
I don’t consider myself “bohemian” as much as I do a “whatever” dresser. I wear what’s clean and generally I have a nice wardrobe with off brand labels that look good on me. Although, I have a thing for designer sunglasses! Even though I only own one pair.
The one thing that I would like to point out, is that I am extremely involved in my relationships. I am very loving and thoughtful. The only times I become aloof really is when I am bored or the passion has faded. If someone can keep me on my toes and have meaningful discussions with me, I will be less likely to be “cold” and more likely to treat you like a king or queen!

Hahahaa oh maan this article was bang on. Everything you said- it is exact. As for the way I dress, yeah it’s bohemian or whatever because I only go to thrift stores. Malls and trends and fashion really piss me off. I do dress very weird but I wouldn’t buy clothes from a store that intentionally markets weird clothing, because that defeats the whole purpose and it annoys me.
Aquarians are one of the most vain signs in the entire zodiac. I know this as a FACT. We just don’t let people know this, or don’t want to admit it, but it’s there. Deep, hidden. Then once in a while it’ll reveal itself, but I think most Aquarians are full on aware of the way they present themselves, and are careful about it.
I am personally always preoccupied with ideas and creating stuff, whether it’s art, music, or satires. That means I’m too busy to look after people, and a relationship would feel too smothering because I know I’d let the person down. Oh, how I’ve learned that. xD
Aquarius women can LOVE, yeah- sure, they are capable, totally. The question is, will you feel their love? I ‘unno, maybe. Or maybe you need to find yourself a freaking Scorpio. Aquarians can get obsessive with lots of ideas and subjects and fantasies, but rarely other physical humans. They got too much on the mind. A Scorpio would make a nice obsessive partner. (No harm intended to Scorpios here, I think they’re great lmao)
I question my sexuality because I am so feminine yet so masculin personality-wise. xD On the bright side, one of my cats is attracted to me. I think we’d be compatible because all she does is sleep.
Also, people find my humor a little dry, so I don’t often use it unless I know the person will get that I’m joking and not think I’m a sick, horrible person who hates children. So consequently, I appear very well-mannered and soft-hearted to the world. Isn’t that scary?

I really enjoyed reading your article; it had a lot of very accurate points. As to the subject of a few comments… I really don’t mind admitting that I can be quite arrogant, maybe not outwardly but inside I’m usually gloating ^_^. As for depression? I agree that it depends on the other aspects of a person’s chart. I personally don’t put up with it. If I’m feeling down, I do something about it. Moping gets you no where. I really like to think I’m pretty quirky too, and I’m proud of it.

I, for the most part agree with the article.But let’s face it Becky does not know everything and that is ok, she only knows so much and I respect her for that. She is right for the most part and of course our socialization has something to do with our personality as well. Some people are more easily manipulated than others. Also, there is a difference between who you are, who you have became, who you decided to be and who society or your parents molded you to be. To find your true self, it is a journey and it is worth it. So this being said, if they are things you disagree with it could be for multiple reasons and does not necessarily means that Miss Becky is wrong simply that your case differs.
I am aquarius and do not wish to be something else but I most admit that the truth is whatever you want it to be and as long as you are happy and do not purposely cause pain for others, then we live in the best world that could ever exist.

I feel you girl! They need to definately grow some. I think that aqua and pisces together are so good together. I know you’ve only known him for a month so it may not even be worth it to you, but if something pulls you back to him don’t let it until you feel that he cannot affect your emotions. come back to him and be his friend, be the bigger person and to me if you want to experience a relationship with a pisces or any other man in general, that is the savvy way to do it. Be friends, get to know him before to establish a good relationship.

I couldn’t help giggling over Grace’s comment. I didn’t find anything sexist or offensive. I am an aquarius female and this matched my personality perfectly. As an aquarius I can be arrogant, I see no reason to be defensive about it… For why in the world should anyone be? Arrogance is just another imperfection (or perhaps flaw, call it whatever you please) which resides in many of humanity… Getting back to my statement, I can be arrogant, many if not all of aquarians tend to be, we find pride in our eccentricities (quirks/ offbeat interests), and we often look down upon individuals who lead (seemingly) dull (ordinary, routine) lives.
Moving onward to what Grace first commented on… Oh lord, how can you place arguement to such a truthful statement? We do demand great independence, often to such extremes we rebel or flee from restrictions (we find most authority an incovenience).
In my final opinion you did a wonderful job, enjoy your day (evening, whatever one it may be).

Becky! I really enjoyed your article, and the ensuing discussion. I think that you understand us very well–and we are often a hard sign to understand! What you describe as arrogance is, I think, a self-defense mechanism for us. We know that we are different, and if we cannot embrace that and be confident in ourselves, then we have no chance of thriving in this all too conventional world. I know that I personally am pretty sensitive about my uniqueness–I love it, but I am very aware of the way in which others perceive me. If they like me, then I will go on being my friendly, quirky self–but if they don’t seem to like me, I will avoid them and withdraw into myself, or in some extreme cases say something hostile or rude. (normally though I am very peace-loving and avoid conflict at all costs)
The bonus side of an Aquarian is that while we expect others to love us for who we are, we return the favor! We are very open-minded creatures who are fascinated by differences, rarely judgemental on a personal level (though we can rant about injustice all day long), and can make friends with just about anyone, granted that we find them interesting. We also care very deeply about the world (nature and animals, yes–i am a vegetarian–but humans too, especially those whom we feel are disadvantaged/oppressed)…we resist the status quo but love humanity, and to us that doesn’t seem weird at all.
Your Aquarian daughter is lucky to have a mother who understands her well :). I think that while Aquarians are very independent for the most part, our parents’ love and approval can make or break us–we need to know from a very young age that our uniqueness is a blessing!

Oh my…The discription of an aquarius woman is like they are looking in my windows. 100 percent. Gosh, I hope I am spelling things right and have good punctuation here. LOL. One thing I do know about a typical aquarian woman is preciseness. If it isn’t right, it isn’t right. My song is by Brooks and Dunn…”She’s unusually unusual, and that beautiful to me.” He must have been a Libra. Some more of the song…the shoes she isn’t wearing fit her just right…oh yeah, I can be arrogant at times. I catch myself at it. I like the confident thing, though. I am very confident. There was a lady at work that I had a good laugh with. We have people there that are just one step up from us with responsibilites etc and they are called leaders. All but one are male. Some call on the intercom for their leadman since in the past it was typical for men to hold that position. Someone called for their lead person and I made the comment that they are simply leaders. That is easy way of it not being male or female, well she just blew a cork said I had a problem with my sexuality and I was a insecure person. Everyone around me laughed like crazy. Who? Alice? Insecure. NOT. Confident I am. There’s never a dull moment and I make things happen. I am going to have to get some better drapes…..Enjoyed reading all this. Hi Becky! Your article was pretty much on point. Jan-23rd here. Is it true that most aquarian women r unlucky n love? I don’t understand it. Being an “aquarius” woman i am naturally curious about all aspects in life, i just don’t want to believe that we are unlucky in love, though my experience thus far has proven me otherwise. Don’t get me wrong, I have many male friends, but none that i would consider my “partner in crime”. It seems like when i find someone compatible i’m scared of looking like a fool by putting my emotions out there by fear of getting trampled on and when i don’t find them compatible i’ll stick with the “just friends part”. Hi Becky, i think you are right about the aqua chics,they normally get frustrated and find themselves being arrogant…I have this experience with aqua chic…at times you just need to be calm and understand them though it is really difficult.They can be friendly but they can also blow up things at a time….they tend to regret later. My scorpio friend,i would just advise you to be very carefully because these two signs normally don’t get together…a scorpio man is always quiet and seek for logic while the other one is kind of detached…i know you scorpio are good in romance,but with aqua chic i really doubt if it works…she can be in love with you but can as well be too detached which is not good for scorpions…they can just be good friends but in love relationship….i find it otherwise. All in all everyone is their friend and prefers platonic relationship.

Aquarian females are the best. I have to say just sometimes you have to make them aware that they can’t expect total control of every situation. It’s a fine line as Pisces have total respect for the Aquarian Woman. But the most wonderful quality of all is the “forgive and forget” policy if they know you are genuine. It’s very easy in my opinion for a Pisces to fall in love with an Aqua Lady. As long as you don’t pressure her and give here miles of space and time then you will conquer the World with her by your side. Together these two are way ahead of the rest of humanity.

Becky, I will agree with everyone - you are right on. I know that I’ve been arrogant on things I thought were pety, but I’m the aqua girl dating a pisces man. I have never.. NEVER… put energy into something I thought was assumed or obvious and he’s the one that makes me go back and think about my actions, my body language, etc. He also calls me manly and that my exes must have been “weak willed men” because I was the man in the relationship. But, I think Aquarians can see both sides to every story, have more than one solution to any problem, and always always ALWAYS has the best intentions, at least in my case. Although, I am very blunt and sometimes - like to be very sarcastic. I find humor in almost everything and I am a giver and a bit of a fixer. Being with a Pisces man kills me because he’s not the “self-sacrifice” guy, he’s the “self-serviant” guy. Where I’m used to having my boyfriends be all about me, he wants me to be all about him - without putting in his share. I find myself trying to be the fixer in this relationship but I also find that him, being a Pisces, has almost narcisstic qualities and qualities of a Pisces - very emotional (but emotional blackmail kind), manipulative, controlling, and egotistical. He wants everyone to like him, but I think that’s just ridiculous. The trivial subjects he puts energy into from day to day I don’t consider important, and subjects I consider important i.e. bills, my feelings, etc. seem to not be such a big deal. We argue often, but I swear I’m the “tra-la-la” person and he’s the one that finds something to attack. I know I’m awesome.. I KNOW IT but why can’t he see it or why does he choose not to see it? You know, I think it’s a bit weird when I fall into the “sporty, confident, gorgeous, smart, educated, talented” category and then he tells me my confidence is domineering and I’m too competitive (hello! In sports!). He wants me to be submissive and I just don’t have that in me if he wants to shove me into a woman role and then not even make up his man role. He likes to think of himself as “a man’s man” but I want a gentleman. I think that’s the only way I’d come off as submissive. I’ve never been dumped, he’s always been dumped or cheated on. Got any advice? I want to be with this man a lot. I’ve done a lot of soul searching in this relationship and I almost think I deserve some kind of compensation lol. Thank you!! Sorry so long :/

Becky - I would have to say, or agree, that, yes, Aquarians are late bloomers. I think that way because our sign is a little more wholesome than others - always perferring to see things that are moral and good rather than accepting life’s unfairness. I think a lot of Aquarians tend to be passive agressive and ignorant, to a point - by choice! We’re idealists and I don’t think we try to mold our friends or lovers, but help promote their good character traits and help “fix” whatever needs fixing through our eyes.
Curious - I’ve done the multiple boyfriend thing when I was younger, I’ve cheated, but I made it a point to give me my OWN word to not do it anymore and I’ve been 100% faithful for close to 7 years now. Some times the guys knew about each other, other times it was a fling. All my past boyfriends will probably die not ever knowing I ever cheated on them. Looking back, it was selfish, and it was superficial. BUT do NOT relate these to all aquarians. I know aquarians that are not only moral, but think “do unto others” so they will not stray. I was doing the young, best looking I’ll ever be in my life, not take life seriously approach. I wasn’t married though. Marriage is a union I will NEVER break - I’m traditional in that way. If you suspect your wife is cheating is between you two and has nothing to do with her sign.

aquarians are known for their unconventional & creative bent of thoughts,opinions, viewpoints & ideas. they are so fixed with their mindset that they ought to follow what their heart & mind desire irrespective of ppl criticism. this may be taken from other point of view as bossy but I say thhat aquarians like to live thir life in thier own terms & follow a simple tag of life “Live & let live” policy…often our route chosen is far different from other traditional paths which often ppl say it as “ARROGANCE” which even i dont agree…

I agree in 80 percent of everything you wrote.
As for colour of hair and fashion, I think you’ve stressed this too much. This is so irrelevant, although not completely untrue.
As for myself, I have never dyed my hair, nor I wore funny clothes or anything unconventional. Really! So, I’m less Aquarius in this part, and I’m definetely not a Vegetarian. I adore meat!
But, I am a successful journalist and a successful musician - I play the piano, drums and I’m singing! Of course, not alone, but in a band! If this is arrogant, I apologise

am i the only one who took the “arrogant” statement, as a “other people find you to be arrogant” kind of thing?
not to toot my own horn, but im ecstatic to be an aquarius. however, i do know that i am stubborn and find that i am right, even when im not. with good reason, though, since we are known for being highly logical, rational, and understanding.
im just rather.. disappointed.. that many of you are responding with such negativity and portraying the opposite ideals that define the optimistic, caring aquarius.. and are coming across as so hostile and dim witted.

i agree with most of the comments here but heyyy where’s my januaury aquarians at? lol my bday jan 30th ! =] & i’m a proud aquarian we are the best sign very thoughtful & intellectual…but anyways relationship wise im attracted to aries men their agressiveness is a big turn on, leo’s are a turn off for me b.c. of their egos, libras are soo sweet! As far as friendship i find myself closest with pisces they are cool down to earth people also for some reason i attract scorpio friends(girls). I’m said to be hardheaded but i dnt know how true this is i mean most of the time my way is the RIGHT way…lol umm wat else im a mixture of both shy and energetic i have two sides to me. when i first meet people im very quiet and observant. once i get a feel of how they are i know how to deal with them so for that reason i get along with almost anybody. I’m also an Aquarius (wood rooster apparently). I’m born on the 9th too… but please don’t judge me, we’re not all short fused sociopaths! (Oh, and I am wholeheartedly and unashamedly aware of my near complete inability to spell or puncuate properly).
Firstly, arrogant people are the first to their nose out of joint when their arrogance is pointed out.
Secondly, what’s so wrong with being a bit arrogant? Many famous and/or successful people need a little bit of the ol’ over inflated ego and arrogance to survive.
Thirdly, people come in many shapes sizes and quirky character foibles. Just because one Aquarian is prone to being a bit arrogant doesn’t mean we all are. And Becky was just trying to demonstrate that we CAN be arrogant (at least that’s how I read it) and it’s only one aspect of many other great character traits, like style, wit, personality, talent… And really, you can only carry that off convincingly if you’re at least a tiny bit arrogant. I wouldn’t say I was arrogant, but I can be short tempered if people don’t take me seriously as a professional and there are days when I’m extremely pleased with myself. Not always, but often enough to fool everyone that I know what I’m talking about. Also- while I’m not terribly aware of how I do it, I can be extremely hurtful when pushed in a corner… and often the person on the receiving end doesn’t know why I’m suddenly cold hard bitch!
Also, this is based on Sun sign alone. I mean, did you not read the disclaimer?
Finally, the part about feeling sorry for us… I think what Becky’s trying to say is that being aloof and detatched can be interpreted as vague or cold, and being competent as controlling. Both options can grate for any woman, escpecially an Aquarian who considers herself oh so unique, efficient, “destined for better things” (ha!), and… entitled. The world can get you down, man. Especially when you’re forward thinking and independent. (Okay so you do see that is classic dry aquarian wit yeah?)
Personally I thought this post was a scream! A good start, if nothing else. Mostly acurate for me at least. Lovingly written with humour and insight. Give her a break, Grace, and write something better, if you disagree with it so much.

I’m an aqua woman. No astrologer ever really gets us right. No offense to the author, she did a good job, but she, like most astrologers, put in all the stereotypes that aren’t true for me and every other aqua I know. Not her fault. Maybe she doesn’t know aqua’s in real life, or know them well. OR maybe she just knows the Uranian ruled aqua’s, which aren’t all of us. There are a lot of more saturnian aquas around. Everyone forgets about us.
Most of it was true. I just take issue with describing us like hippies, and that we dress differently, because that has never been the case with me and the other aquas I know. I think it’s a huge misconception.
We ARE very independent and can come off arrogantly due to our reserved natures (until we get to know you) and our logic based way of relating instead of emotional based.
I am really embarassed by all the grammatical errors from my fellow aquas! And I am also embarrassed that some of these people called the author out on hers, when they were also not even sounding like they made it past middle school English. I know no one is perfect, but jeez! I guess this is the part where I am acting like the arrogant aqua, ha! I wouldn’t have said anything, but I hate a hyprocrite.

I’m an Aquarius and have read pretty much all of the comments here. I have a couple thoughts I’d like to add.
First, I don’t know if the Aquarius is detached so much as that they like to hear a good story and generally veer away from the routine, the mundane, and the trivial. I think it’s this avoidance of things routine that conveys a sense of their not caring. And maybe this is where the perceived arrogance comes in again, because we WILL listen and be fully present if you can frame it (whatever it is) in any interesting way.
Everyday repetitious chit-chat tends to not comfort us like it would a Virgo or a Taurus. We want something new, exciting, and evolving (yes, this is a burden for those who know us). We like surprises, we like being encouraged to take a new perspective, we like learning. So when we receive the same ole-same ole, we figuratively shrink back into ourselves. Every time I hear of an Aquarius being detached or “not emotionally empathetic to an individual,” I frown a bit because I know that to not be the case deep inside. We hear you, we just think you’re boring and have decided to tune out sometimes. You do the same to us. We have to do it as humans sometimes just so we don’t go crazy. Create an environment that encourages that kind of emotional support, and we’ll be there so much you’ll get sick of us. Tell us a story. We like stories. Make it one that’s interesting. Better yet, make it one that requires advice. We’ll be on it like white on rice ’cause sometimes we do think we know everything, yes indeed.
Second, we do get depressed. Find an Aquarian whose friends haven’t called for ages even though he/she calls every week, whose parents are mildly abusive about their originality or think they are not really the family type, or who is separated from people either of their own accord or through some outward influence and you’ll find a depressed Aquarius. We also tend to get depressed when outwardly misunderstood or devalued by another. Make fun of the way we do anything in a mean-spirited public manner (do it in front of other people to really make an affront to our sense of privacy and self-worth) then add a few days. We’ll react angrily to your face because we are fighters, but we’ll burst into tears days later thinking of it.
We are private–so what. Not everyone thinks they are secretly being taped for their own reality show. And we tend to be reserved about our feelings, but honestly you probably don’t want to know all of our feelings.
We never forget feelings you arouse in us, even if we forget your exact actions. Even when it seems like we’ve forgiven you, we have a little book in our hearts that keeps track of the feelings that you inspired or aroused in us, both good and bad. We will use that to navigate dealing with you in the future, both good and bad. Why do we do this? For protection. If you think we’re prone to unwarranted cutting remarks, consider that you may–at one point–have been prone to such yourself. I know from my own experience that I’ve heard some incredibly judgmental, mean, caustic comments. Just because I didn’t react didn’t mean I didn’t hear them. Being the lighthearted person that I’m perceived to be, folks expect that they can do or say all sorts of critical or crazy things to me. I remember that stuff. If you don’t want it, don’t dish it.
We have a limit and don’t want to be suckers. We are always suckers (see “likes to hear a good story” comment). We love any story that makes us feel like better human beings–who doesn’t? But we rarely open up. Not because we are afraid, but because other folks don’t really put as much stock into the idea that once you truly befriend someone, you have to take cruelty off the table. We generally believe that spilling our hearts is some kind of verbal bind on par with blood brotherhood. If we open up and you cut us, that’s it for our friendship. As a famous author once said, “it’s like killing a mockingbird.” Besides that, just on the ego level we don’t open up fully because we don’t want to be anonymous–who does? We want our stories to matter.
We’re also more prone to show our love, rather than say our love. More traditional signs like the cheese factor kind of love. The kind you see on TV where the drama is high and people go around saying “I love you” but behaving like they don’t. Then they wind up hating each other years down the road and showing their hate through caustic comments. In general, Aquarians don’t like drama or fake romantic overtures or traditions based on silly commercials or anything having to do with romantic love TM for those very reasons and just because we know better about duplicity and false hopes. What we do believe in is showing love in ways subtle, elegant, and prolonged in their effect.
To most of us, it’s really important to just be there. So many of us are generally left to our own devices as “those quirky Aquarians who can take care of themselves” and folks often forget that we need folks to help and entertain and support and love us, too. No need to ask us if we’d like you there just show up dangit. That’s like telling folks who have just had a loved one pass to let you know if they need anything. It’s an empty gesture. If you’re going to be there just be there.
And to us, it’s about being there. Now, this might not mean much to those signs prone to only roam in groups, but it’s a big deal to solo-flying Aquarians who sometimes don’t even want to be around themselves. We may be independent, stubborn, and willful but we pride ourselves on being there when it counts without you having to ask. Think back, you’ll realize there’s always been an Aquarius there just when you needed one. We won’t make grand circus announcer gestures about it to draw attention to ourselves “being so good” as other signs would, either. We’ll just quietly do it. That’s love to us. You can talk all you want about love, but unless you show some real respect and tenderness, it means nothing.
I’ll give you two examples of how this works from our perspective. I had a friend whose father was an Aquarius. When his father died he mentioned that although his dad was never verbal about his love, he just knew he was loved. How did he know this? Because his dad always put down whatever he was doing to listen. Because his dad was at every single major and minor event in his life, every one. Because his dad went to work in a factory every day when the son knew he hated his job. Second example: Another friend’s dad was in a nursing home with Alzheimer’s. Up until his last day on earth, he always remembered who his son was. He forgot everyone else, even forgot where he was. But every time that kid walked into the room, his dad said “That’s my boy!” That’s love to an Aquarius. We believe in it, just not the highly dramatic, empty gestured kind.

As an aquarian lesbian woman please do excuse “some of us” at times for our misbehaviour about small stuff like grammer, etc. I do not think, I know for a fact that your interpretation of us is spot on!
I know, cause I can be downright arrogant if I so choose to be… But putting objectivity behind it makes it so much easier to understand. The thing is when we are younger we tend to be stubborn as hell over small stuff. When I first read through the article I thought arrogant might be a strong word. But the second time I read through it I realized you were right, arrogant is the correct word to be used: “proud and dictatorial in manner” as stated in “my dictionary.” Although if I do choose to cut someone like a knive with my words it would only be after I have been reasonable beyond all reasonable points with this person, or their attitude towards mostly everything. To set the record straight “we can be arrogant in our stubbornness as well.” Like you have already noticed by now…
I know this is just a touch over the wood and surely not a full reading as stated below but I strongly disagree with the joint bank account. I will receive the utmost pleasure in knowing that my beautiful lover can use our money the best way she see fit. Maybe that is because I was born on the 17th?

If you want an explanation of your zodiac to only categorize your awesome traits then look for another website because this one obviously tells it like it is and doesn’t sugar coat everything(which I happen to enjoy! I want the truth!). I am an aquarius woman myself and I can see how we can come across as arrogant. I catch myself all of the time thinking, “I am right, I know I’m right, I cannot fathom why this person doesn’t get it” and if that isn’t arrogance I don’t know what is! I dont really think that you can really explain about an aquarian unless your a good astrologer or an aquarian yourself. I think maybe she is just overserving as an outside person to notice an aquarian being arrogant. im an aquarian and ive seen other aquarians seem unapprochable and sort of arrogant. But every sign as good qualities and bad. And as for the my dear thing that is just childish. I really liked “polyrevenge”’s comment, especially when you wrote about how Aquarius’s may not like the dramatic “I love you” gestures and how depressed we can get.
However, I also liked this article too. It was really peculiar, because I felt as if you knew everything about me. The negative sides are right as well, I can’t stand it when people don’t get to the point, I have to cut straight to it, so sometimes I might seem quite blunt. Occasionally I completely disregard people’s view, but only when they try to force them on me. Otherwise I love hearing different views, as poly revenge said, I love to hear their stories, because I’m a sucker for them.
And yes I love to give my advice, but it annoys me when you don’t take it, like my friend does. He’s a Taurus, and constantly comes with me with the same problem, and I listen. But I become impatient each time because he’s deaf to my advice, he said I had no experience in the area, which made me think “then why tell me your problem?” I have increasingly less sympathy for him, because he is too self pitying, when there are worse things in the world.
And I’m constantly thought to be a daydreamer, and sometimes I find myself thinking I don’t really see the world properly, like I’m viewing it differently to everyone else, but surely everyone has a different view to the world? I live my life with the idea that you should try everything, go and there and explore, before its too late and your incapable of doing anything anymore.

Loved this entire description! I’ve always been a little skeptical over Astrology but the funny thing is I can’t stop obsessing over reading about Aquarians because I feel like I fit the description so perfectly. One thing that intrigues me as well is that is seems like every time I meet an Aquarius and don’t know it, I’m never surprised to find out they are one. Just something about their personalities.
When you used arrogance I couldn’t help but laugh as well because over the last few months I’ve been described as that a few times with my fellow coworkers. It’s usually when something doesn’t go my way or they’re trying to give me “life advice” and I don’t follow saying I need to find out on my own. I never mean to come off as arrogant, but am starting to understand I can be.

I have seldom read anything so insightful and beautiful and enlighting. I soooooooo enjoyed it. It kind of described an aquarius man whom i adore. He is hurt and shy. FIERCLY independant and sometimes seems lonely and depressed and carries a huge brick wall infront of him. He gives very little of himself and yet wants me to stick around. I CARE for him so much and I am very hurt because he keeps me at arms length, but gets annoyed when I am not there for him. He has had a very troubled upbringing and a failed relationship and bears the scars. HOW CAN I GET THROUGH. Sometimes for my own sanity I need to stay away from him he dosent seem to understand me. Well, i was born on feb 11th, and to be honest not much of that resembles me as maybe i am at the cusp……….. What is true, i get bored very easily with jobs and if a relationship is not loving all the time, i often dream about fantasy stuff, i can be a dreamer. I do care about the world and love looking after people. I have a very strong love for nature and animals but i do not skip about as a hippy but more of a glam girl who really cares about what i look like.

Very insightful and accurate depiction of the Aquarian nature and spirit. As a “waterbearer” I had to laugh at my fellow aquarians squabbling about your grammar,punctuation and the question of aquarians being arrogant.
Who cares about spelling..and all the other stuff? And arrogance? I have to laugh because all Aquarians can be, especially when challenged. I, to be fair have to say, that sometimes it can be misread and is in fact our strong sense of self, our desire to always communicate in truth and a very high level of confidence. Some may be intimidated and view us differently and call it incorrectly… Honestly who cares? Just be yourself.

My oldest friend is a Leo male who I met when I asked him out on a date. We’ve been best friends for over 20 years now. Although I love the dude, bless his crazy heart, I believe that a romantic relationship would never have worked between us and am so very glad we settled on lifelong friendship instead.
One of the things that I noticed–and again, strictly from my point of view as an Aquarius–is that what originally attracted me to him was the thing that broke our very short romantic relationship: namely, his neediness.
I asked him out, frankly, because he’s hot. Leos tend to be naturally sexy. Contrary to popular opinion, Aquarians can be attracted to people just because they’re sexy in conventional ways. We are not immune to overt physical prowess or purely physical desire and can be particularly drawn to outrageously physical and outrageously beautiful people like Leos often can be. They just have a knack for over-the-top, dramatic beauty, and that’s definitely alluring.
But where it can be problematic is that it generally stops there with physical attraction, because Leos and Aquarians–while physically compatible at times–aren’t often emotionally or mentally compatible. What started out as being charmed by his physical and emotional needs ended with my being incredibly turned off with the very same traits.
That happens in a lot of relationships for non-astrological reasons, but it has happened each and every time with every Leo I’ve met. I love their aggression, I love their physicality, and I’m charmed by their self-preoccupation (at least for a while), but I can never give them what they want–complete and utter emotional devotion and worship–and they can never give me what I want–a mental connectedness–so it ends there.
That self-absorption aspect was the nail in the coffin as far as romantic love went between my best friend Leo and I. Heaven knows he probably thinks a lot of stuff about me that I wouldn’t like, but from my perspective I could never shake the idea that somewhere in the back of his Leo mind everyone was feeding him grapes and fanning him at the side of pool and that just turned my “everyman” self off completely. Remember, Aquarians are very much about love of man, not individual love like Leos. So if you come across as self-absorbed, we’ll be charmed by it at first and perhaps misinterpret it as confidence, but eventually we’ll be disappointed or disgusted by it.
I read somewhere that Aquarius is the sign most likely to make other signs feel like selfish asses (hello Keith Olbermann!), so you are not alone if you feel this way from that statement and trust me when I say that we secretly make ourselves feel like self asses, too. (All the time. Every day I beat myself up for being selfish. This morning it was that I had to wait for internet connection. Then news of the Haiti Earthquake came on and I felt like such a loser to be stressing out about internet connection when others can’t get water. This little self flagellation happens about 1000 times a day.)
I sincerely don’t mean that you are self-absorbed beyond normal. I mean that Leos are all about fulfilling the self and that is the exact opposite of Aquarius. I learned a lot about being more aggressive, more opinionated, and more decisive from my crazy Leo friend and he (with hope) learned a lot about being more aware, more subtle, and more cooperative from his crazy Aquarius friend. But does he ring my mental bell? Nope. And do I ring his physical bell? Nope.
For the record, Aquarians are just as selfish, but it’s usually with their time. Aquarians require a lot of independent time, which is very, very selfish and we know it. When we feel crowded or stressed, we mentally and physical disappear to re-energize. From your point of view, I can see how the Leo would perceive this as completely selfish, because Leos generally thrive with more people around them, not less, so it’s very difficult for them to understand how someone would need to escape to reorganize their thoughts when their best thoughts as Leos are generated by contact with other people. It just goes against everything that the Leo feels is right, and I can understand and respect that.
But let me be clear: do not attempt to monopolize our time or affections to get us to be like you. It makes us resent you and makes us suspicious that you’re going to always be attempting to manipulate our emotions in the guise of “opening up.” If you’re anything like my friend, what you’re expecting is not that the Aquarius will open up to you but that he’ll be affectionate in prescribed ways that you’ve been taught are normal. The first may happen, the second never will. Trust me on this. He probably already senses that you want him to act a certain way or you want to “cure” him of his problematic past or you want to work with him to get him back to “normal” and has already made a decision as to how he’s going to handle that need in you by ignoring it and pulling further away from you.
You can understand this right? Think of a person in your life who always tries to get a rise out of you in a certain way. Maybe a sister or brother who always brings up some painful or problematic aspect. That person’s need to get that rise out of you eventually comes across as selfish and manipulative, no matter if they think it’s all in fun or that they’re just trying to teach you to “get over it.” There’s something about them that needs the balm, it has nothing to do with making you feel good or accepted or loved, you know? This is probably how your very well-meaning intentions are coming across to him and once he can sense this he’s already decided–in that Aquarian way–that you’re not the one, because in general Aquarians do not like emotional manipulation and will buck against any such attempts. (One of the reasons why Aquarians are so good at defeating manipulation [and conversely mass/media manipulation] is that, like Pisces, they see it coming–that is, they can sense intentions and they’ve memorized emotional patterns. It’s like they’re watching a bad soap opera that won’t stop. So when you react in ways that are “norm” they’ve already seen it coming and have a proper canned reaction to what they see as canned emotional behavior. Of course, this comes across rightfully as cold.)
Having said all this, I will also say that I’ve had many Leo friends–both male and females–and while I love them dearly they always end up driving me crazy and I them. They monopolize my time so much that I have to set boundaries all of the time and still do. On the flip side, I drive them crazy because they just can’t understand why I don’t want to spend all of my time being crazy dramatic about everything they’re crazy dramatic about and they just don’t get that my time is just as valuable as theirs! Why wouldn’t I want to wait out in the car while they shop inside for a half hour? Why wouldn’t I want to parallel park on an icy hill because they can’t be bothered to meet me curbside outside their door? Why do I get upset if I’ve sent them a birthday card for the last 20 years and they can’t even bother to pick up the phone on my birthday? Why don’t I want to go to sit for hours at dive bar where everyone loves them and knows them by name? That sort of thing. That kind of princess/prince behavior drives Aquarius nuts in so many ways and Leos are known for it, yes indeed.
If you’re adamant about loving this Aquarius–I personally think you should truly ditch someone like the person you’ve described above, one who shows no vested interest in retaining your affections and doesn’t value your time–I will say this: Leos are really, really good at just being able to pick up on something and go with it. They’re courageous and fearless. They are natural craftspeople, as such.
So the best way to “get into/to” your Aquarius is to do whatever you do really well with them. If you’re a musician, form a band with them. If you’re a fine artist, paint with them. Really dive into your skill/talent and ask for their help on it (you don’t need it, but just humor them).
That sort of mental, subtle stimulation will be a total turn on. Aquarians love people who really seem like they know what they’re talking about and love what they’re doing. They love folks who exude a quiet confidence. They’re like perpetual Mr. Rodgers’ Neighborhood tourists. If you are naturally good at something, and you probably are being a Leo, just get them involved in that and doing that together(instead of laying around expecting sweet nothings and kisses and nonsense that I honestly believe Leos inwardly really want) will most likely draw him out and get him to see another side of you: one that shows that you have your own life, you have your own passions and projects (that don’t involve him as the target), and you recognize that he is helpful to you and you’re not looking to “cure” or “fix” him to make yourself feel better or more loved or more needed.

My GOD are you sure your done, did you remember to come up for breath. I just couldnt believe it went on and on and on. However I am ver grateful and humbled that you troubled to write at all. However you do not describe me, personally at all I would say apart from the part where I am told I am beautiful, stunning and very sexy. I am an unlikely leo born 28th July with a libra moon and libra asendant. I am quiet and shy and although people think I have alot of confidence I dont. Whatever else I maybe I do feel that I am not getting where I want to be with this man. I am the least pushy person you are likely to meet. Just reading the end of your reply yes I do like hugs and kisses and there is nothing wrong with that. I like this man because I CANNOT MANIPULATE HIM he does not fall at my feet, and for the first time in my life I have met someone who is in control of his emotions. I am drawn to him like a magnet, he certainly is not good looking, although he has a lovely body, unlike me he dosent have his own home or a great job, its sort of bizarre. He is younger than me also. Sorry your also right about leos being courageous and fearless and up for a challenge, and being a leo I just cant beleive he couldnt love me, and part of me knows he does.

It’s no problem, Annie! If it’s any help, both of your responses illustrate my point: Leos and Aquarians have a different way of approaching matters of the heart. Aquarians are very scientific, and my attempt to answer your request for advice may not have been succinct, but it was an effort to break it down on how Aquarians often think about those matters, whether it’s right or wrong on their parts to do so. Your comments also indirectly illustrate one of my previous points, when I said that most folks probably don’t want to know what Aquarius is really thinking.

Aquarian are supposed to be unpredictable. So when I say I’m a typical Aquarian according to the astrology stuff I’ve read, people still shouldn’t be able to interpret my thought and action patterns 100% correct I presume?

My wifes an aqua chick and I’m a crabby cancer. been together for 7 years now and 2 kids. I didnt believe in all this astrology stuff…until she was into it. and i would have to say she is right.(like always) i watch her watch people..she learns from other people by observation. She studies the people, the room atomsphere,and well pretty much everything, anything. Then she decides what shes going to do or say b/c she doesnt want to affend anyone with her ideas or opions. Which are very strong. But she changes her ideas or opions if she feels they no longer fit. She doesnt try to push her opions on anyone. b/c she dont want you to that to her. She loves people. not just for people but she likes to see how and why people tick. she calls it her studying of humans. she is very stubborn and you cant tell her something she doesnt already know. she googles anything she finds interesting at the momment. which will change in 2 sec. so be quick minded. like she’ll be talking about oil funding and totally switch up talking about what movie star was wearing a 10,000 dollar gown(thats one example) or why we are stupid arrogant people to think that we are the only people God made. I think shes an alien. I kidd. There is no one on this planet who is like her. she is very pretty almost like a angelic look and her eyes oh my god( there green like a cat). i love her very much and no one can even compare to her. I love you Aquarius weirdos! you can learn from them a lot.

Just read all the comments and the one that stood out the most was Plyrevenge I am also an Aquarius Feb 11th and most of your comments were incredibly true at times I believe that other Aquarians are the only people who understand me fully…
and the comment about us just wanting you to be there for us like we are for you is so accurate example; my birthday was 2 wks ago i had a family and friend get together none of my friends showed up although I didn’t show it in front of my family I was distraught(ok well not that dramatic,but it hurt really bad) I havent spoken to any of my friends since,although they called and wish “Happy Birthday” I feel physically they weren’t there.
I’m having a hard time though because its not the first,second,or third time usually I just stop talking to them for a few weeks,sometimes months.
This routine is getting kinda old, I dont know if I should confront them or just leave them alone being that we hate confrontation I’m leaning toward leaving them alone but I tend to overthink things and I really dont want this to be the case..

I just so happen to come across this site while researching my sign Feb 15. Grace I must say, you did a great job describing us for! I saw myself in a lot of what you wrote, especially this part.
“a bit offbeat and unusual. But they always look out of this world.” I have the gift of putting things together that really shouldn’t go and making it like surprisingly well. But it’s also because I could careless what someone else thinks, I dress how I feel!
I’ve felt more often than not how unemotional I can be at times its made me feel sort of weird because most things that bother must women don’t bother me one bit.

Hi Becky, Aries male here again…love your site, and your insight! I agree (as a stubborn arrogant blunt aries) that the Aquarian love of my life is brilliant, talented and creative. I think anyone percieving arrogance in an Aquarian is not slowing themselves down to understand what she is really saying to them. Sometimes the words come out ‘rarified’ from her, and you have to drink a glass of water and ask sweetly what she means and keep listening. .o0(it doesn’t always work for me *lol*) Aries men with any self critical awareness will know they are able to be rude and blunt when frustrated by their sense of all - knowing perception ( I know I sound arrogant and rude here - stay with me I mean no offense I am trying to keep verbosity down and that means sometimes I am gonna be too blunt) Okay if you catch how I am using language to be honest and illustrative, then you will realise that I seem cocky or self confident…when in fact, I am the dead opposite, normally trying to pick my way through choosing the exact phrase to impart the mental image I seek to pass…
Now my point can rest in the context above: When the Aquarian lady feels controlled or the Aries man trying to “own” her… he is simply (speaking from my heart here) trusting her seemingly endless confidence to know he is saying what he wants (for her to know) that she will have that as a tool to work her magic with. Because he approaches loving her by wanting to know what spins her wheels and glows her heart, (coarse sexual and romantic metaphores) he thinks (oft wrongly) that she wants to do the same in return.
Comically, the reality is that she needs no such information - she has it handled for her and (dare I say ‘arrogantly’ implicitly trusts him to be likewise as mature) She ignores the ques, and he feels devastated taking the belief she is treating him coldly.
48 hours later, she realises what he ment, and receives the compliment of his trusting her in her own way, on her own terms, and in her own time (he better not try and explain it to her *lol*) and throws him in the bed in her reaction to that. That poor Aries now feels not only ignored but somehow a little used, and all she had to do to change that sex was “tell him out loud” what she was thinking…
pssst (I don’t care that I can’t get the grammar or vocabulary perfect, I trust you brilliant people to understand instinctively without losing time on those details, Believe it or not, that is not lazy, it is my heartfelt compliment to you…

Sometimes I feel that men don’t want to date me because I am too strange and ecentric for them. I have a question for the other Aquarian women. Do you think men are intimidated by us at times? The strange thing about me is that I am a “Masculine Woman” and I don’t mean that I look like a man. I am not a lesbian. I enjoy sleeping with men. I just enjoy male things. I enjoy male conversation subjects. I enjoy dressing like a man. I would consider myself a strong woman. I know I am not a man I just like manley colors. Is that strange? For me there is a time and place for my femininity. For the most part I might buy a shirt from the men’s section if it looks good and feels comfortable. I am having problems dating and I don’t really know why. I always thought I made everyone feel special. Is there something wrong with me? I am not a total fatty and I have a nice job. I am in my 20s and most of the guys I meet who want to be with me are guys in their mid 30s to mid 40s. Older men do not appeal to me. Its not like I won’t ever put on a dress. A lot of men don’t really call me back. It makes me a little bitter sure I admit it. I am still open to people. Is there something wrong with me? I am a different drummer. I can’t help it. Hi April,
I am wondering if you are interested in a male point of view? And I don’t want to ignore that you posted out to other Aquarian women. So, given that, I can tell you that most men won’t have the kind of mental maturity that Aquarian girls (indeed they won’t have the maturity of most women) till they are about 30. I know, a generalisation is a bad thing, but all my mates and I discuss this regularly. We just don’t form an inner relationship to ourselves untill we get a bit older and a few of lifes hardships come closer to the heart. Until that happens, we are bulletproof and ignorant - as a rule, no matter how sensitive and intuitive we seem to be - even to ourselves. Most of the guys in their 30’s and mid 40’s that are attracted to you hgave probably seen the light shining inside you and recognise the beauty in your free spirit. Most younger guys? You need to humour fragile egos a little and honestly, not expect that a guy will be as self-related as you are, as comfortable inside their skin as you are. My Aquarian love is some 10 years older than me,and she has a heck of a time understanding what she calls “neediness”. On the other hand, I (as a sensitive man - not imasculate, but not a knuckle dragging rock ape either) fail to comprehend her inability to observe the relationship dynamics on the emotional level. Aquarians are such whole hearted women, and once harmed emotionally, they wil use social graces that hold men at a distance. They self fulfill the prophesy of confronting less secure male egos and wonder why the men went to a gentler reception. I am not suggesting mollycoddling the male ego, I am suggesting listening to your heart, then your head, then HIS heart and HIS head…. That you can do, and most men will not so easily…then you will answer your own connundrum…
Just recall the ire that you hold against the man who you “feel” is trying to manipulate and control your freedom no matter how light heartedly and it will be that ire he moves away from.
Mostly men are not raised to relate to your independance, they are raised to serve and try and change things till a sense of balance is achieved. Well that is fraught with the Aquarian lady I love… you best leave her alone, even if she is pining for your company, because it is she and she alone who will figure out when and if whis is going to open up to your desire to connect.
The trouble is, from our point of view, we can’t see that you long to connect. On the outside, we can only see your success, creativity, inner strenght and the things you do. Except the slightly older man, who has the maturity to trust his instinct to see all that, and “know” you want him there even if you make no effort to show and demonstrate that in your terribly busy world..
I don’t know the answer, I am using this forum to try and get a sense of balance, and read the perspectives of a variety of Aquarian ladies, that i may resist my instinctive urge to withdraw when there is no feedback to my overtures of love and communion. It’s transparent and a little selfish, but it’s honest…

Something smells a little fishy about your post.

What are these social graces you speak of? If this is true why should an Aquarian constantly be subjected to men who harm them emotionally? On behalf of my sign… we cannot function as a sign when we are hurt emotionally. For Aquarius its all about the mind… everything else follows. When other signs make Aquarius emotional it comes out sparatick like Uranus. Aquarius have always gotta have a clear head. We can’t backpack this emotional burden with us or else we’d never get anything done. Since we are so rebellious when it comes to work, we can’t go into it worrying. A lot of people depend on Aquarius to be independant if that makes any sense. We are the “go to” sign so we need to rise above it. Our emotion is pretty intense but only in small moments at a time. I am sure you can imagine how painful that is in order to clear one’s head. Aquarius will become fixated we are “fixed” and well we really don’t want to be. Its like ripping a leach off your body or pulling a bandaid off really quick. It hurts like hell for a second but poof its gone. Is that healthy? No but we CAN’T stay fixed… it drives us mad. That is where the whole, “oh they’re so detached” thing comes from btw.
The hell with egos. Aquarius don’t really think about that too much when they’re evaluating and analyzing the people they meet. We’re looking for (other things) like energy levels, intellect and character, or hidden talents. Putting Aquarius into an emotional choke hold prevents us from doing what we do best inventing, healing, replentishing, revitalizing the world around you. When our minds are becoming distracted with emotions instead of doing what we need to be doing, the rest of the signs will all suffer. You’ll feel the effects when Aquarius has to throw in the towel due to some emotional overload.
Perhaps you’re right about older folks recognizing those abilities and admiring them more than a younger generation might. Its nice but not when I am yearning to make a connection. The best way to deal with an Aqua is to be there for them during their emotional outbursts guide them through it or provide a new (IDEA) about how they can deal with their emotions so they can return to their natural powerhouse feeling… the only way we want be feeling. When Aquarius is happy Everyone is happy because Aquarius can be free to make the world a great place to live.
Yeah maybe you have stumbled onto one of our natural defences… affecting the mood of your circle of friends when we have been hurt. You might not see people for months until an Aquarius is feeling electrically recharged. Thats the thing about Aquarius over Pisces… TAKES FOREVER to recharge where if you can go back to my bandaid example…. we’re ready again. Just give Aquarius those emotions we’re looking for and it won’t have to come out all wrong ya know? We won’t have to detach in order to keep functioning because maybe we’ll enjoy being fixed.
So ya know…. just back off with the emotional punishment. I feel like so many signs want to weaken Aquarius….. why… I don’t understand. The wave motion in our symbol needs to stay strong enough to bring and hold everyone together in a state of unicen. And we just can’t do that if we’re crying in the dark.

I love most of what you said, but i don’t agree with the arrogance thing. I do believe that many of our qualities come frome the sign that you are born under. However it also depends on what ywe have lived through in life. I haven’t lived a very good life, with a step-dad that took me to a crack house when I was just 10 years old, telling me not to tell my mother who was at work, growing up on food stamps and housing. When I was in middle school, I was bullied by pretty much the whole school, physically and verbally. As a result, I became a very quiet, shy, depressed girl with low self esteem. Now that I have moved to a new area and have gotten rid of most of the toxins that were poisoning my life, I am slowly getting out of my shell. Yes, many aquarius have high confidence, but right now that is something that i need more of. Just keep an open mined; we are not all the same.

Thank you for your comment. I haven’t replied for quite a while but your comment caught my eye. You are absolutley right and correct. Our journey through life takes us on some twists and turns and shapes us into who we are and depending on those experiences adds or subtracts from our characteristics. Like you I have suffered at the hands of others in the past and the healing process from that is a long and painful one, for most of my life I was not a bubbly outgoing Gemini/Horse a shadow of that infact, but luckily since hitting 30 I have truly found myself and am rebuilding.
I have written this as a stereo type of a Sun sign and nothing more as human beings there is so much more to us than a couple of paragraphs could even begin to describe.
I wish you all the best with the rest of your life I am sure that as an Aquarius you will come through the darkness - there is always hope.

Wow! when you said that aquarians are the “man” in their relationship, made me jump (i dont mean it literally)! it is soooooooo true! actually im complaining about it right now, im tired of being the “man” in my relationship with a libra! my boyfriend is so passive in a sense that he literally doesnt do anything or even get mad if someone is already hurting him or hurting me! (of course i dont let them win, especially in an argument!) ive been defending him from anyone who hurts him and my problem is that he doesnt do the same thing for me! Also, ive been doing all the stuff that a boy should be doing like giving him a gift on a valentines day (which is my birthday) and asking him if he wants to go out because he is not having the initiative to do so. I already confronted him on this, and he just shrugged! (he said, he doesnt know what to say!) and believe me, i was very clear and very straight forward when i explained to him what im feeling so doesnt have any reason to tell me that he did not understand what i was telling him. can you give me an advice on how i can get this libra-guy to open up and tell him to stand-up and be the MAN in the best aquarian way? i hope you’ll answer me.

I’d like to compliment that your website is quite unique and interesting as compare to other horoscope sites that I’ve came across. What prompt me to write a comment is how insightful it is on little details you’ve included in your descriptions.
My birthday is Feb 18th and I have to agree that you made great observations all around. I really dress what I feel and most of the time what I find in my closet, but I’m not sure I always look good, but I really don’t care if I do.
I am creative-painting, sketching even though wasn’t exposed to it when I was younger, but after my second degree in arts school, I picked it up quite well, even my sketching and creative instructors commented that I was good and such a “perfectionist” (this I learnt is more of a hinderance to my creative side more than anything). However, I always ask logical questions on how we do things and doesn’t always follow “feel” as one of them suggested. But I can assure you that I do not play an instrument, I’m sure it is highly unlikely that most Aquarius women plays guitars. I am however, into other hobbies that express my artistic side like photography.
I agree that I usually think I am right, but I don’t think it has much to do with “arrogant” as you put it. I feel that it’s mostly base on my personal experience and my keen observation on things, as compare to most people, who usually don’t care enough to observe things.
I don’t agree with the independent part about the bank account. I don’t like dealing with personal finance and would rather leave it up to my husband, who is also an Aquarius, because he’s great at it. By the way your observations of Aquarius men are eery, very true on many levels-details like the walking out, and if he’s not good at something he doesn’t even try. But, the tail between the legs happens in our relationship. Although I definitely don’t think that I am “stranger” than he is, as most of our mutual friends will agree. I’m much more sociable and out going than he is, and if you don’t know him, you’ll think he’s an a–hole. But most of his close friends respect and adore him. He has few close friends, but they are all great friends.
What I am very much agree with is that Aquarius are very loyal, we both recognized this in one another, and this is also what we see in ourselves with our friends and family.
I definitely agree that I am not a conventional parent to our almost 2 yr old boy, also an Aquarius. I love spending time with him, teaching him things, which he picks up at an amazing speed. He maim words like “hi, hat, top, bear” at around 10 weeks, and by 1 he starts to read most of one syllable words. Today, he speaks in complete sentences and has a wicked sense of humor to boot. What I find amazing already is something that can’t be taught and that is his problem solving skill. I am however wondering if this has a sign explanation besides genetics. Usually, I think horoscope is just for entertainment even though it has great insights, but after I came across your observations, I wonder if there is more to it. I am wondering about this is because we are expecting our second child, who will be due in late Auqust-either a Leo or Virgo. I am wondering if one sign is better than the other in getting along with Aquarius, or if he/she will be as bright as our Aquarius child.

Hi all. Loved the article about my star sign, wonderful. Had to laugh. We are gentle beings, us water bearers, and as such we are better feeling than dealing with the harsh reality of life. I am a little sad to see disagreements about spelling, aragance, MY Dear, etc. We all have a shadow side, we all have the ability to be everything, and when we fight hardest to deny it, it takes even more courage to face it, and say “hey, i can come across as arragant, but it is not my intention, how can i correct this?” We are everything, and blessed at the same time. It was lovely reading all your comments, and we are all wonderful in our own way, regardless of our sign, situation, color cread, or the fashion we like to wear. Keep it burning ladies! This description of an Aquarius woman is fantastic! I especially love the second paragraph. “Guitar, beads, bare feet, and a tent!” Even though I run my own business, I am still very much the peace loving free spirit I was in my teens. I work full time, sing in a few bands, make jewelry, and am always looking for something else to get into (explore, conquer, or understand)…I like to be as educated as possible and know a little bit abut everything.
What really struck me as interesting is the point that aquarius women are better off taking more of a male role in her relationships…right off the bat I thought “no way, I want a man that makes me feel like the woman” but then I realized that in many of my past relationships I did take on this role without even realizing it. I always knew what I wanted and naturally walked into a leading (and almost mother-like) role. My current man has mentioned that I approach sex from a more typically male side as well…more physical than emotional. It’s not the role I prefer, but it is going to take quite a man to lead me

This is only my personal point of view. These several months, I’ve learned so much from my own self.
how you are with people, how you talk to people, how people see you it’s very important… in general we like a person that will look good next to us. Sexually, we do love to experiment.. But keep some mystery… one step at the time or if not it get’s boring because we like to explore everything at the same time. When we know everything about the person, it get’s boring. So my man has to keep me on my toes and impress me in bed slowly. Trust will be build like this as well. If you are too much all at once, I lack trust. Send us cute messages, but not to many… leave us alone during our work time but call to find out if we need anything. If we will need you, we know were to find you. 
Make us miss you and you will see that we can be very devoted and loving. Personally, I love to experiment to cook but I will never follow the rules.. that’s pretty much how it is in real life… we never follow the rules, we make our own rules. Do not make an Aquarian life a routine.. we hate routines, but are good at devoting ourselves to our work if we like it. We tend to do more than one job. We like to experiment everything that the world has to give us. For us to love a man… we need a good man that is not SELFISH. So if you make us feel good, we will return the favor 2 times more. We are generous people and like to please in every way, sexual & physical. – xo
An Aquarius female is very independent, but also needs to feel loved to reassure her that she is the only one. The more you make her feel comfortable the more she will trust you and be loyal to you. She likes a stronger man by her side, but not controlling her every move. Never tell her what to do or what to say, because she does not like to be criticized. After her wrong move, tell her nicely how you felt in TWO words and do not criticize her… You will see that she will think for a bit and admit you are right. Being an Aquarius woman we love to dress to impress, there’s no doubt you will be impressed. I do not agree about the “bohemian” part….
I do think that these women are so unique that they inspire other people, when they talk they seem to know everything (at least that’s the image we give sometimes knowing few things from different world subjects ;)) but no doubt, it’s an intellectual sign. We get stimulated by the intellect of the person. We like mystery as well but not games… We hate games.. do not hide your cell phone, although we will never go in it, just do not make SUSPICIOUS moves, because you will lose her. I was born on the 21st most of this is true people do say I’m werid and it made me laugh so very hard when you said were good singers because we are, I sing and ahh not to toot my own horn but I am very good and it and so is my best friend who guess what happens to be an aquirius. one thing that bothers me is i can’t keep girl friends. i don’t know what is it but we always end up not being friends i kind of really don’t like girls, i have a lot of male friends and they are great but they all end up at some point in time wanting to date me. oh and i can not forget anything i swear once someone does something that hurts me i’ll remember it until i’m 6 feet under. i always say i’m going to pay them back for hurting me but in the end i can’t i’m not sure if anyone else feels this way but i do. i feel like i forgive too much i always forgive and in the end it ends up hurting me but i can’t hold a grude to save my life. the only thing that doesn’t pertain to me is the whole not caring thing. i care so much my feelings are easily hurt. i have yet to meet someone who hasn’t hurt me in some way. one thing is i always get over it. ive dating a sag man, aqua man, and i’m now sorta with a gemini and i have to say i love myself a gemini. the only thing is he’s all over the place and it drives me crazy. i’m going to do my best to stick it out because i love him but i’m not sure how much longer i can last his birthday is june 2nd if that makes a difference.

I loved this and found it quite accurate. I do believe us aquarians can be arrogant at times, but obviosly some of us just cant seem to admit this. I for once do give off an air of arrogance and vanity to sway people from getting to know who I really am… I know its twisted, but I cant help it…it doesn’t mean that I am this way, but instead is a way to protect myself from others.. does any other Aquarian do this or am I the only one?

Hi I am an Aqua and somethings I can really grasp around as an Aquarian I very confident in all that I do even though at times when we are down we don’t let our true feelings show and we tend to precieve in others that we got it together but at the sametime we stand on our own as Aqua women so there are no disappointments when it comes to others we make our own roads and we dance to our own beat beauty comes natural for us because we don’t tend to make a big thing of it as most women do but I always capture someone by my eyes and to be honest I always thought my eye’s looked like everyone else’s as for Arrogance I am arrogant at times and I enjoy it it’s not to be rude but I only come across that trait when someone has defied me but I stand with much confidence and arrogence for as long as I am an Aqua lol but we are sometimes misunderstood because no one will ever understand us we are to much of mystery and we tend to switch our ways…. but thanks for the reading i went to other websites that said the same about Aqua women

Unlike the author, I DO feel sorry for these girls. I (sept 29) had the misfortune of coming across one of these aquarian women. The misfortune was not in the interaction itself, but letting my feelings get involved. Sparks flew when we first met, and we covered many subjects in short periods of time. I really connected with this girl like I have not before with other women, and I let my emotions get involved.
Then she began to get shy around me, and if we would be in the same room together she would seem extremely nervous. She only seemed opened up a few times when we were with other people in a crowd. Anyway, I am sure that there is chemistry between us, but SHE NEVER TALKS TO ME. I would try, and she just wouldn’t even open up enough to have a conversation Just maybe subtle hints here and there from a distance of a possible mutual feeling. I feel like there is a connection there, but she runs away from it. What a tragedy, I really fell for this girl and she may feel the same way too, but nothing has happened of it for over a year now. It seems to me that she would rather mingle among her superficial friends which are mostly males, rather than have a deep relationship. I understand this situation is all too common, and what started out seeming so promising turned into a tragedy.
What a mess, these girls ARE NOT good for a relationship. Nothing personal and of course not all are the same and I could have just had a bad encounter, but this was a complete disaster. Now I know that a lot of factors are involved here like upbrining, culture, and all that shyt. I do believe that culture has a large part to do with how many women act.
Now this is the part that you aqua women are going to love, lol. In our feminist, superficial, pornographic, que sera sera, b/s culture of America these girls have quite a happy medium to be in. By feminist I am not opposed to the equality of women at all, but I mean what this movement has become which is an excuse for women to act slutty, feel entitled, do whatever they want, and blame there problems on the men in there life, and then treat them likecrap. Proof? Besides the obvious daily interactions between the genders take a look at the media. For example tv commercials where the the wife is a know it all perfect women, and the man is portrayedt to always be an incompetant dimwit who always seems to take any abuse from his wife so easily, or most tv shows for that matter. Don’t get me wrong, fundamentally I love women, and believe that they have a lot to offer, but I have found it to be a truth that they have given into this mentality.
I know that this idea has spoiled many American women, and rotted there brains. For this reason I look to the larger picture and realized that my interactions here are largely influenced by factors confined to our culture, and an aqua women in another country could be completely different from that of another, and my perspective is cleared. Well that’s that, and I guess that the conclusion of this piece is that sometimes the grapes really are sour.
