Fire signs are too aggressive for me, as are most Air signs. I’d have to say Taurus and Cancer. My little Capricorn sister loves it when her older Cancer and Taurus sister hug/snuggle,cuddle her. Taurus female here..
I would say Taurus does this a lot of time, especially with the people closest to them. I for one can attest to this. I don’t know, but the affectionate nature of Taurus can be very well expressed with the art of cuddling and hugging. It might boils down to the secured nature of Taurus, that if we are hugging, or being hugged by someone, it means the world. Even if I am outdoors and I feel like hugging or cuddling my Pisces guy, I don’t have qualms in doing it. I would give him that extra warm and affectionate hug he deserves. In return, he hugs me back tightly too! Whenever we are together, we can cuddle forever. It is never boring, but really heart warming. So I can also say Pisces rules in this hugging arena.. =)

I’m a Libra-Sun, Leo-Moon, and Cancer-ASC and I’m married to a Virgo-Sun, Cancer-Moon man and he is definitely the most cuddly and affectionate man I’ve ever been with.
It was a struggle for me in the beginning because my detached Libra felt awkward with all the touchy stuff. I had to tell myself that I needed to be affectionate whereas it was and is so natural for my husband. But as I’ve grown into my Cancer-Asc (I’m 41), it’s much more easy for me to be able to “feel” it as opposed to “thinking” about it. I’ve grown to appreciate it and him much more now than I ever had before and our intimacy has been rewarded by it as well!
My daughter is a Libra and a very awkward hugger as well. My Sag daughter (who is autistic) hugs much more genuinely than my Libra.
Which makes me ask? Has anyone every studied autism and astrology?

Ok its true Fire signs are all for the loveylove feeling but they are moody as are air signs , it depends on the moment,while virgo nd taurus, yes they are romantic and very sensutive but taurus wouldnt handle too much emotions thy’d see it as weak after a while it exagerated,virgo love cuddles and hugs but some virgo women tend to hate people being to sticky and touchy.
I’d say the ones that are really hug-ish and emotionally supportive are the Cancer folk, not only they love hugs but they love anything emotional or touchy, ike the pisces they are very physical and expressive, the empathy they feel and how they percieve ur pain, they know when you need that hug. I don’t deny it Libras are cuddly too! they’d cuddle u to death along with the fire signs if in right time!! but No one beats cancer ladies or men! cuddle is their middle name I’d say (I know that from many people who are cancer that I’ve met who dnt mind strangers or close friends hugging them as if there’s no tomorrow) cuddling is wonderful indeed..no matter what sign we are we adore it each in our own way!

I always thought Capricornians gave great hugs, that was until I got hugged by my Piscean guy. But in general any sign has the potential to gieve great hugs, it just has a lot to do with the individuals expression of love and affection. If a person has issues with physical contact, even the world’s best hugger would be rejeted. Some people just need to be guided on how to give great hugs, I know a guy who used to hold me like he’s trying to squeeze water from a rock! So it really just depends on the individual’s experience…

Thanks for the comment. It’s very interesting that you wrote about autism. I know a little about it as I have friends who also have autistic children, their adorable aren’t they. I have thought about this, and I think that because people with autism are so genuine, so honest about their feelings that they are true in their sign, where as most of us become so complex because of our views and opinions and the fact that we are strangled by the conformity society places on us, we tend to become clouded and often the negative aspects of our signs become apparent. I don’t think this is so with an Autistic person, they are who they are. I met a girl on holiday who was also a Sag girl with Autism and she was delightful, and yes, very cuddly totally without the vanity of her sign.

I would definately say that fire signs love to cuddle. Im a sagittarius and my boyfriend is an aquarius, and he gets in his moods where he likes to cuddle, but its not all the time. I love to cuddle and be up under him all the time, but someimes when I give him a nice big hug he tries to stop me or he says baby thats enough LOL! I honestly think Pisces give the best hugs. I am a Pisces girl and I have hugged other Pisces. He’s furry and looks so mean and is so aggresive in every day life, kind of like a bear…but since I’ve married him I havent spent a night without his arms around me and my head on his chest. In the morning, when he leaves for work, he’ll climb into bed fully dressed and try to squeeze in a couple extra minutes of snuggles…sometimes even stays too long..

I am the consummate Cancer - and I can tell you I LOVE the closeness to another person that cuddling gives. For me as a Cancer though I’ve found that the best and most emotionally rewarding cuddles come from either a Taurus or a Libra for me because … 1. Although I might have to be the one to initiate cuddles a lot of the time (especially with Libras), my Cancerian ‘need’ to nurture is satisfied through that and 2. I find that the sometimes more reserved signs (in that manner) will bloom beautifully and reciprocate greatly if you lead the way while still considering their comfort.

as an aries man, i just wanna officially declare ourselves out of this contest. we are not the ones for cuddling. push you against the wall while ripping your shirt off and kissing ur neck- if that counts as cuddle then yes but not the soft, fluffy warm hugs. nah.
i do want to add tho that my friends have a habbit of hugging a lot (like in everyday routine.. not in bed) and i hate the ones that give a slight hug. if its gotta be done, it has to be tight hug.. a tight squeeze otherwise its just not worth it. also on a sort of related note, i am frustrated by people who give soft, dead handshakes too. i like a firm handshake that almost dislocates your shoulder. lol

I’m a Pisces and I know I LOVE cuddling with people it’s kind of automatic and when people are feeling down they tend to come talk to me and I just want to wrap a blanket around them give them hot chocolate and let them cry on my sholder all they want but for some reason almost everyone i know don’t like to be touched i find that disturbing and depressing which is why im sad most of the time cuz pisces rely on being loved and caressed and im still a teenager who has never had a bofriend or many friends so its hard for me but I promise that the first bf or bff i get will love to be cuddled!!! wish me luck

If you were to say ‘hugs’, I would say Cancers and Taurus are the best cuddlers. Not just an ordinary or superficial ones, but deep and emotional hugs.
I am a Cancer, not siding with my signs, but each time I hug I give a very deep ones with lots of loves in it. I would cuddle my mate for a long time that he would push me away.. (He’s a Sag, who just only know how to just hug)
The best hug I ever gotten from is Taurus. Although the relationship does not last, I had never forget a single thing from his hug 2 years ago. It was a very deep, soft and warm cuddle. And we both love and that was the first time when I had found who really love/know how to hug.

I would unequivocally say Scorpios and Pisces. My boyfriend is a Picese and every time he holds me in his arms I get extremely emotonal and hot at the same time…someimes I cry for no reason. OK everyone… i honestly dont know what sign i think is the best at cuddling BUT I think you all are going about it the WRONG way.. just an observation. But cuddling is an emotional experience or should be if done correctly right? so shouldnt we be looking to an individual’s moon sign and also their venus sign? idk just an observation like i said. I am a Libra sun witch typically arent very affectionate physically, but im a virgo moon and virgo venus and i LOVE to cuddle but only with those that i am very close to. I have to say the intimacy and genuine warm feeling that is given and received in a hug whether given to partners, family or friends is best with Cancer as a rule. My mum is a Cancer and without a shadow of a doubt she is the person i always love cuddles from. My partner is Virgo and i love cuddles with him, very loving and quite powerful. I have had cancer, taurus, pisces and capricon partners in the past and whilst you love your cuddles from the one you love, Cancer always knows when and how to hug so that it hits the spot and cancers can be comfortable to cuddle for all eternity

Well…I love to cuddle and since most of my close relationships have been with Sagittarian females, I’ll have to say, Sagittarius, I love to hold them, they’re pretty calm and wouldn’t mind me being all cuddly with them. My ex-fiancee would always give me a sense of completion when I was with her. So did my female best friend who is also Sagittarian now that I think about it, this of course, was way before I even met my ex-fiancee.

I’m a girl too, and I love giving my mom kisses and cuddles, and snuggles anytime I see her.
(Surely she must be pissed with me at this stage.) My older sister always gives out to me for the amount of times I hug her. She tells me to stop hugging my mom, haha. My mom favors my hugs out of all her kids though. She tells me my hug is genuine, she can feel the love when I hug her. My little sister said the same thing to me also. (: And I wouldn’t hold back in giving the person I love cuddles and hugs either. So, for that reason I’m going to say Capricorn.
