Gemini In Love
Love is seldom easy for the Gemini and this mainly stems from them being more than one person. They have many needs and finding the one right person can be somewhat of a struggle. Not to mention that they aren't the most patient of signs and if things don't look good from the outset they will very often move on straight away. This can sometimes mean that they miss out on what could have been a good relationship, which is a shame. I myself am a Gemini so I know the kind of turmoil love can bring. We have, I think, too much, far too much emotion mixed with a fair bit of intellect. This means that we constantly try and use logic to solve love and let's face it, love is not logical. These people it has to be said are rather charming.
First impressions are important and on the first meeting of a Gemini you will be bowled over. They all seem to come complete with an engaging, friendly smile and sparkle in their eyes which is quite spell binding. Basically they make you feel happy, they have the feel good factor. Yes, it is fair to say that the first time you meet one of these airy creatures you may well fall head over heels for them. This is actually quite a problem for the Gemini. People seem to be attracted to them like a magnet and declare their undying love, which is all rather shocking to the Gemini who was simply being friendly. There is however, more to it than that. The reason this happens is simple. Gemini all have one amazing and totally unconscious ability to be whoever they want to be. Every-time they meet someone new they be dazzle them with being that persons dream woman or man. It is quite astonishing really. But it's true. The Gemini needs mental stimulation far more than anything physical. It is a need that must be met by anyone who is to take on this airy dual character.
Most people are turned on by peoples eyes, or bums! Not the Gemini, unless you say something witty and intelligent on the first meeting then it wouldn't matter if you were Brad Pitt, the Gemini will simply look straight through you and then you will meet one of the twins. I say one of, many people say that the Gemini has two separate characters, but from a lot of experience and being one myself, I say we have several. And not all of them are easy to control and to be honest not all that pleasant either. It is, I'm afraid, when one of these twins pops out that us Geminis are at are worst. The mental stimulation carries on into the bedroom as well. Gemini's love to talk dirty and are always very vocal in their love making. Open mindedness is their second name so you had best be prepared for some eye opening stuff indeed! Sadly, the Gemini gets accused a lot of being cold and aloof. And I suppose it is true that we can come across that way. Most of the time though it is because we are not actually here. We will be visiting some other place in which no-one else can reach.
Which is another common occurrence and complaint in relationships with Gemini people. Their partners often feel very alone, even if they are laying right next to their Gemini and holding hands. The Gemini will only be there physically, mentally though, they are off dancing around somewhere else. This is when you will need to be rather amazing and interesting to bring them back to earth.

hello, i’m an Aquarius guy, and not long ago i broke up with a cancerian girl,wer’e almost 5yrs and it’s unbelievable that i was able to make it that long,only Long Distance Relationship took it’s toll and I have to decide coz I was cooling off already…
A month ago I was introduced by my good buddy to his friends at his flat and I came across this mysterious and very quite and a bit shy woman.
We were all drinking and talking about a topic and I was just listening all along until I was able to say a comment or like a different view to the topic and this girl was the only one to appreciate my comment, she was like suddenly agreeing to what I think as everybody else was still trying to digest what i’ve said…
The night went on and we danced at a nearby club, she started flirting with me on d dance floor and was grabbing my hand so I will dance with her, i didn’t really mind it coz I was just being friendly not just to her but to my buddy’s friends as well. After a couple of hours she was already tipsy and I have to make sure she can find a corner to rest a while and next thing i know she was leaning on me and hugging me from my side. I never thought of anything malicious or whatever,it’s just natural for me to be humanitarian, besides from d 1st time i saw her, i wasn’t even attracted.
Next day she got me mobile no. from my buddy and asked me if she can meet me again, after a few days of just accompanying her whenever i had free time whenever she texted me to, Not just me but WE found out we have a lot in common, d way we think,view things and likes too…it was incredible aside from d fact that I didn’t know yet that she was a Gemini woman, its my 1st time to interact with this woman this close, time passed like a blur and we began to like each other like crazy,wanting each others company and just talk about just anything as in anything, if time doesn’t exist we’d be talking forever, both of us seem to conform to each others views and principles.
And also to how we interact physically and the way we kissed, we both agree it was the best we ever had compared to the one we had from our previous relationships. We were going crazy to each others lips!!!
Sadly she had to go back to her country coz she was just on student visa when she came to NZ, we were starting a very promising relationship but she had to go home. It was like mutual understanding for us that Communication, Honesty and Respect are Really Important on our Long Distance Relationship. In fact she was the first to mention this important thing we should do in an LD and i was just adding some important facts to it.
Even were apart we seem to be able to feel and think the same, one time i woke up with a bit heavy headed feeling and heavy palpitating, I was thinking about her all day long until i was able to call her when i went home and guess what, she was worried that day, and we were able to tell each other what we felt, its an eery feeling that the other can feel or even guess what the other is feeling or thinking if we really wannt to.
My worry is since where in a long distance relationship, i’m afraid that she’ll change anytime and fly away. She always tells me that she love’s me and is also planning to come back soon. That “soon” cannot be determined yet since its quite difficult nowadays to get even a work permit to NZ. They say only LOVE coupled with communication,honesty and respect are the Antidote for our worries and doubts.
Another thing is her ex a Leo guy seems to get in our way and try to disturb our harmonious relationship (at least his away from her too in another country working). I try not to be jealous but sometimes its frustrating on my part (while she was just enjoying to see us guys fight over her!!!), i was doing a reverse psychology like teasing her to give telling her to give that guy a chance and she reacted to my joke, she was insulted and told me its not funny at all, she said she has decided to move on with her new life and love with me (by d way they also had a good relationship only thing they always had a fight and the guy tend to grab d limelight and had made lies to her,don’t really know d details).
sorry for making it a long story,i’m just happy to share it to interested persons that might give an insight, advice, opinions etc. to make our Love work even through distance…

Evojlution, it is quite enjoyable to read your story,I feel like I know both you and her. I am a gemini woman also and I can tell you all those things are true about us indeed, but we are also loyal. if she feels that you are loyal to her and she loves you, she will be loyal to you also. I hope everything works out for you guys, I hope everything works out for me and my aqua man also.and that last line about “someone making me happy and at the same time fear the thought of losing them” is something i can so relate to.

Omg I loved reading these posts! I am a Gemini as well and it is so true, we are in our own little world, we change moods like CRAZY and it is often so hard to find love but when we do give our love, we give it all!!! I have been single for 3 1/2 yrs. i want a man but can’t seem to find the right one. So I started liking this guy, he is an Aquarius and i feel such a connection with him but it is weird lately, I think I am over analyzing the situation.. but hopefully it works out because everything that you said about the astrology with an Aquarius is so cute/right. Aquarius guy, that story is too cute! I hope I have the same luck!

Good job at describing the Geminis out there! I am a Gemini myself, and I agree with everything you wrote. It was kind of scary actually, your accuracy was dead-on and it was like you knew me. Pretty cool, I’d say. Again, good job!
Maybe I need to find myself a Gemini lover so that me and him can bring out all our characters, wouldn’t that be interesting!

I am a gemini, June 9th, and totally change my mind all the time, but at the same rate i feel like i know what i want out of life, just havent found it yet. I am dating an aquarius and find some relief that gemini’s and aquarius are suppose to be very compatible. We have our ups and downs but they arent over major issues. It is all true what I have read about myself and about the aquarius. Commitment is a big issue for myself as I find it hard to stop analizing my significant other. I was told i need to relax and just let things happen. I have been trying to do that and i find myself to be much happier although it takes a lot of self control.

I never believe anything like not saying things straight to the point, being a gemini. scared of being too overly Emotional when expressing? I don’t know, with my Aqua man, Somehow it seems a bit restricted, though we have fun and tones of laughter being together. I don’t know, the word, important stuff are hard to come out from me, sometimes I m thinking, how’s the rs will be, of all love and lust, laughters and fun, if there’s no substance thing that can hold us together. How do I communicate with my Aqua… in this area. It’s either MSN, calls, even over the phone, I do not know why am I afraid to say things out, afraid of his response or afraid of my over analyzing.

My Bf who is a Gemini is going to marry because of my forcing(I put his name and photo in a matrimonial website 4 months ago and I myself search girl for him.That was my Biggest Stupidity.Now I LOVE him a lot but he is going to marry).But still he want to continue relatinship with me.Before 3 months he started to flirt a girl through phone (he thought that I flirt him).He didn’t touch that girl instead he stopped our long distance relationship and he tried to make all those romatic conversations that he talk to that girl Practical with me.Now he is going to marry another girl then also he is saying that I should call him.

i laughed so hard about the, “The Gemini will only be there physically, mentally though, they are off dancing around somewhere else.” I recently figured out it wasn’t normal…. My sis who is a Scorpio is the one who about 2 days ago told me when she talks to me she knows Im not completely engaged as I normally am. And she mimicked my face because I didn’t know what she was talking about. it was hilarious ….the most dazed look ever

To Emma & post #30: As a Gemini man who fell on love with his (long lost) Gemini girl, I can say that you never forget a Gemini (even if you do not know they are one at the time). Can two Geminis coexist? Yes! But you have to always remember that the two of you are so similar on a fundamental level that flirting (just being super nice to someone) just means you are nice. It does not mean you’re ready to hop in there bed. Darting eyes: can’t look you in the eyes for more than 2-3 seconds is normal. Observing people moving in a restaurant, does not mean we have roving eyes we’re just people watching and want to make sure we’re not missing anything. BUT, we are always listening to you! Took me a long time to realize that about my Gemini girl. Always thought, ’she likes me’ then I’d say nah, No way! It has taken me almost thirty years to realize this about my Gemini girl & my Gemini nature. But, it is the best relationship I have ever had.

Im a Taurus woman and i must say that being with a gemini man is an emotional rollecoaster….they make promises and most of all they like to sell dreams…i got my heart crushed by one its true they are so unreadable one minute u can tell they love you and the the very next they slap u silly and go….it is very easy for them to cheat and sorry its not in there vocabulary they just can be very heartless and cold….i used to read the compatibility between my sign and his and we were never a match andi ignored it cause i was and still am in love but i need to let go cause i like stability and consistency and those two words are not in there vocabulary either…..over all bad experience i should have known cause my big brother is a gemini and we are always fighting even though we love eacother to death thats exactly how i feel with my x we cannot have a simple conversation and dont fight thr only place we never fight is in bed….but theres a lot of drama like we fight and say the meanest things i start crying he just don’t care and then after two weeks i say hi or he says hi and we start talking again so for my well being i got to get out of the emotional rollecoaster!!!!

I absoloutly loved reading this it is exactly wwhat i am like. i do my head in with how much i think and over analyze situations and also do get bored easily. I have just very recently fallen in love with a Scorpio and i know they arent our best match and he knows very much so how to push my buttons and is also quite very jealous but at the same time he is the only person i have ever met that when i unintentionally push the boundaries and try to push him away without realising sticks with it and doesnt let me he has pulled all my boundaries and walls down and makes me feel beautiful and like im enough for him. we have our spits with each other and can argue and i know i drive him crazy at times but he still puts up with me.
I need help because reading up on everything it says that Gemini’s and Scorpio’s are not very compatible for each other but can make a great couple is this true? i no i may be over analyzing things again but i just want to know if i should put my all into it or just give up now if im only going to end up hurt

I agree - great post! Amazingly right on with my guy! He is definite gemini, from spacing out when I’m talking about my day (after he has spent plenty of time telling me about his, but mine will never be as interesting as his….) to continually changing his mind. He truly is a gem of a person though, someone I admire. The open mind in the bedroom REALLY helps too.
