Aquarius and Sagittarius
This air/fire combination can work extremely well. Both people have the need for independence and so won’t suffocate the other. They will participate in fun activities with one another and be heard laughing quite loudly together at times. Sagittarius is often the life and soul, and they love to be loved and adored and seen to be wonderful in all they do and say. In-fact, at times, these fire signs can come across as rather snobbish and stuck up, a characteristic which won’t go down well with the Aquarius as they don’t understand the attention seeking way’s of the Sagittarius.
Sex will be pretty good with these two as well. Very hot between the sheets, but the Aquarius may have to keep some of his/her more outrageous fantasy’s to themselves as the Sagittarius can be quite traditional at times. The Sagittarius partner may want more commitment than their Aquarius lover is willing to give, for although these two get on extremely well there is no real spiritual link. Some people say that these signs can be ’soul mates’, I’m afraid I don’t agree. Sagittarius is far too ‘normal’ to be that in tune with the Aquarius I’m afraid, but they will be close.
Flirting may be another issue between this otherwise stable couple. The Sagittarius is an incurable flirt, and although the Aquarius is in no way a jealous person, he/she does believe in loyalty and being faithful and frowns upon flirting. So you may have to curb this Sag if you want this love to last. All in all not a bad union at all, don’t take it too seriously and it could last quite a while!

Wow. This is the first time i have read that someone feels an aquarius and sagittarius are not souls mates. I agree, I dated a sagittarius for over three years and all it was, was a physical connection; nothing more than that. Everything you wrote is dead on what we had, or didn’t have. I was starting to wonder why him and I didn’t work out if everyone else says that we can be soul mates and we are a great match. It was reassuring once I read this. Thank you.

This is bizarre. It’s OK to think of signs as leading to possibilities, but you’re actually going as far as giving relationship advice as if you were talking about a past relationship of your own. It would work much better (and actually be useful) if you explored the set of possibilities instead of narrowing down on a single one and hammering it down as if couples were condemned to it for eternity. Signs are a way of thinking about your life, not a way to answer questions about it - you have to live life to find the answers.

Thank you for your comment. I try to give my readers the respect of having the intelligence to make their own minds up about things. What I write is based on what I know. I could easily read a lot of books and write down a factual based assessment about each sign etc, but that is not my way. The way the planets affect us here on Earth is something that has always fascinated me and I have spent my life learning about this first hand by watching and listening to people from all different sign combinations.
You are right of course, you do have to live life to find answers, but it is nice to get a helping hand a long the way sometimes. Also, I am not telling anyone to do anything at all! I have had relationships with signs that I have been fully aware I wasn’t compatible with as lots of other people do. My job is just to allow people to get an understanding of what may occur when they are with each of the signs. The choice is theirs to make.

i think that its crazy for anyone to say that any sign against another sign are not “compatiable” in the future..im actually mingling on a regular wit a sadge n im an aquarius> i do believe in horoscopes n this n that, but i am in tune with God . in my opinion it does take a whole life time to get to know someone n learn to love them.. i think this will pursuade alot of people.. this narrows down alot of expectations in a persons mind about n e situation.. i dont like it and i think for the first time, i believe that im gonna stop reading horoscope .. i like the way i think and this is not help this is getting answers that i know and everyone else will find out forthemselves.. THIS IS A WAY OF CHEATING and kills the excitement in finding the answers personally.. but all respect to Amber. i did have high hopes in all this horoscope stuff but my mind is sooo full of positivity that i realized that there are way 2 many negative feeling about this..so over N out…G$>OUT

My sister (Sag.) has been married to her Aqua over 30 years. They are so damn perfect for each other, although the Sag does get restless as her Aqua is a homebody. Just never know..

I think you are almost -dead on with your assessment… but tell me this:
I was starting to date a Sag man.. I am Aquarius.
And we were so attracted to one another..had a great time on our first date. We had a hard time arranging our second date and I was late by 15minutes. Talk about selfish sag..he left! Without calling me. Now I know Aquarius are fun free flowing.. and sag is not.. so how do we actually start something when our personalities are already totally off.
He calls the next day and says he doesn’t want to continue dating.
I believed we would have been a good match .. oh well. Do Sag turn around and call back after they calm down?

Traditional in bed. I think not. I’m a sagittarius woman and I consider “tradition” to be a huge turnoff. Anything is worth trying at least once
Sagittarius don’t like to be considered “normal” although we are experts at adjusting to any situation, we are not plain. We are amazing at everything and did I mention we are amazing. Just kidding..not.
I’ve been in love with a venus/moon in aqua (sun in aries) man we are so in sync its crazy.

I so agree with saaggg, I’m a sag girl and we are so NOT “traditional” in between the sheets…we find that a bore.
My experience…
The combination between a sag girl and aqua guy is so intense and exciting. I think we meet each others needs pretty well. the only problem I feel with the combination is aqua is a bit too closed off to expressing emotion and bc sag girls are in no way clingy/needy the sag girl CAN survive through it. I find it a bit frustrating from time to time but I find it fascinating at the same time for some reason…a bit of a challenge maybe??
I’m thinking the combination of sag guy and aqua might have a different outcome??

@ sag in love: Good luck with your aqua man, i am an aqua girl and if there is anyone that can handle those men, it is their own kind.( i was also with another aqua man for 4 years, i tend to attract the same sign)but anyways, the most recent one i was with, we had such a deep connection it was spirtural as well as intellectual, and I completley understood him when he is being closed off, because so am i. I gave him plenty of space, naturally, because I also needed that. But it gets to a point of ” I deserve for someone to express how they feel for me, no matter how scared they are, I need to know that I am truly wanted.” Aqua men are extremely selfish and childish when it comes to emotions. So if you see a REAL future with him and he would be a great partner down the line, then go for it, if not leave as soon as you can and stop wasting time, (I gave it a year and a half) and when we broke up that is when he wanted to express himself, he was a day too late. I am now with a Sag man and he is wonderful. He can express his feelings to me without being clingy and scaring me away and he is intelligent like an aqua man, without being an a**hole. He loves giving gifts and making sure that I am taking care of.( Aqua me feel silly doing things like that amd it can take them YEARS before they do it) I don’t feel like I have to hold back when I am feeling affectionate or emotional, so it is a freeing feeling. So I if I can’t work out with a sag there is just no hope for me LOL, but it all comes down to your own indivdual personalities, you cannot rely soley on a horoscope. I love the SAG/AQUA combo!!

Thank you for your comment. Yes it is possible. Very possible. Until you know what you have in the rest of you chart is is always a bit hard to know yourself, knowng your Moon and Rising sign for instance can be invaluble. It maybe that you have strong Fire influences in your chart.

I just wanna share my experience here
. I agree with what becky said that aqua and sagg dont have strong mental connection. I’ve been dating my aqua guy for over 1 year and we’re doing pretty good. We have similar likes and we both love going out, meeting new ppl, partying and we both are advanturous. But there were times that we did not understand each other. I admit that we sagittarius have weird ways of seeking and trying to get attention and aqua don’t usually understand it. We misunderstand each other very often.
I completely understand that he needs a lot of space and I need to accept who he is and try not to change and be clingy and demending. But I’m such a jealous type and I want the attention.Sex is good, when sagg are told that they are traditional in bed, that realli hurts! LOL! We’re not definitely, but we don’t have much fantasy, and we’re just ” just do it while it’s still hot” type. We’re just too direct and love simple things.
I’ve been learning astrology for years and now I kinda understand abt my aqua guy. I’m sure we love each other truely and the keys to work things out in a relationship are compromise and understanding. Reading all that is said about the Aqua/Sag fascinates me. I am a Sag myself and have been with an Aquarian for 3 years now, but sadly we are slowly ,but surely, drifing apart.
This could be because of our inability to truly connect emotionally. This Aqua found it difficult to be affectionate,open about his emotions and even sometimes being downright indirect and detached.
The sad thing is that he waited until things got to their absolute worse before trying to salvage our relationship and unfortunately I am on my way out.
There are many similarities I have found between Aqua and a Leo relationship that I once had.I wonder whether I am really not meant to be with Fixed signs (although a Scorpion who is appearing in the picture is increasing my appetite).

I am a Sag girl w/ a Aquarius guy for a year and a half now. We actually have been each others crushes for 14 years
So our story is truely unique. First off our bedroom bliss is the most fun I have had. A sag girl is far from normal in the bedroom. Secondly, my aqua man has opened up his feelings towards me. Although the surface of feelings are on a almost daily basis. After reading your posts it makes complete sense why he doesn’t respond to my indepth letters of emotion I have for him. But I have learnt to accept that. He does need to have his personal time here and there, which I think might be b/c of me. But I know he always comes back so I let him do what he has to do. Our arguments are the worst. He likes to make them more complex than they really are. DOES ANYONE ELSE HAVE THIS ISSUE?? I feel he is dramatic and doesn’t like to listen to what the real problem is. He makes his own assumptions. Other than that we are a great pair together. I get him for the most part. Im sorry but i have to disagree with sagitarious and aquarious not being compatible. While yes you did an excellent of summerizing the personalities, I am an aquarious and the man I love is a sagitarious. what happens to most of aquariouses is we rush too quickly to say I love you, or we mess up our handle over a relationship. Sagitariouses are super flirts, but if you can really make them fall in love you they will intend to be faithful. I believe that the stars will point me to my vision and he has been there through everything with me. He’s my protector, my hero, best friend and the love of my life. There’s also the posibility that I’m just really lucky and if that’s so then thank God.

Obviously what I have written is only a small glimpse into a big picture, and I actually believe that an Aquarius woman and Sag man have a far better chance of success than the other way around as both sexes have differing attributes. Met a sag guy…dated…had sex….now i just want to run in the other direction….i have a taurus rising which is defined by stability…clearly this guy is lacking in that department….just like the other men in my life i put him on automatic voicemail….hopefully he’l get the point…..i’ve dated cancers, aqua’s, scorps pretty much all the signs and they all took advantage of my outgoing friendly personality and left me for quiet women and they all ended up calling me in the middle of the night for sex but once an aqua is done with u we shut down and become cold as ice… bitches

I am a Sag Woman with an Aquarius Man. We get along great, we work and live together and never argue. We both enjoy our independence which is great because I can be in one part of teh house and he can be in the other doing are own thing wih out some one being “clinggy”. I agree with you that it can be more physical then spiritual because I have dated an Aquarious before and it was more physical. I do however think my curent relationship is spiritual but due to us being friends a long time before being in a relationship.

I been with a cancer, i loved him dearly, but after 18 years we seperated, because he was a cheater.
so i met my sag guy, just clik with him, the sex was great, but after 1 year we drifted apart, we been together for 9 years and we dont talk to each other, his friends are more inportant, so we rarely do stuff together, we live like room-mates, and all we do is have sex, and i find sex very boring with him, i been trying to have him leave my house, but he wont go, he doesn’t want any comitment, but still he thinks we are okay because the sex is good, the sex is good only for him, i want more!

I must say I disagree with anyone who thinks that a sag is “Normal”…I am anything but normal. I was in a relationship for about 4 years with a cancer and it was a very painful and abusive relationship. I have recently been dating a new guy…he is an Aqua. he is the sweetest most loving guy I have ever met and I find myself falling in love with him….but am petrified of being hurt. All around I think that he brings out the better person in me. I used to be so angry and mad all the time…he makes me smile all the time. Oh and may I add that the Sex is out of this world…and I look forward to trying new things.

I’m a Sag female, midtwenties and found out recently that a mom and pop shop I frequent employed a fellow student (aquarius male, early twenties) at my local university. We chatted for a while, and I was thinking about how adorable he was. Later on, I got an email from him asking me out. He struck me as sweet and I went out with him. It wasn’t very exciting but I really enjoyed being with him, and had butterflies in my stomach.
He waited several days before saying anything to me, at which point I was on the verge of wondering what I did wrong.
He finally texted me that he was thinking more seriously and wanted us to date. Which while delivered sort of oddly for only a first date, made me really happy. I asked him when he would like to go on another date.
No response.
3 days pass.
finally he asks me when I’m available. I pick a day. He never gets back to me on the time.
The day we’re supposed to go out, I leave him a text and a voice mail.
No response.
2:30 in the morning he texts me to say there’s been a miscommunication.
No apology.
And this isn’t the first 2:30 in the morning text. There are others expressing a desiring to be with me and cuddling.
Several more days pass, and he messages me online to chat. He ends up asking me out again and apologizing for being a creep and texting me at 2:30 a.m.
In the midst of making plans, he says he has to get offline for a minute and he’ll be right back. He never comes back. Several hours later, I text him to say I don’t want anymore miscommunications with him and so unless I hear from him, I’ll assume we’re not going out.
No response.
The following morning I email him to say I hope he did well on his finals.
No response.
Yesterday, I emailed him to say I hope he had a safe flight ( as he went to visit family).
No response.
I’m not wondering whether I should pursue this because I can see I’m not getting anywhere but did I do something wrong to the poor Aqua guy?
It’s really a shame because I really liked him and it usually takes me a bit to get interested in someone.

It has been 10 Month now, that I have been trying to make this, me aqua and her sag relationship work. Endless discussions, hot tempered heads never seen to make us bond. On the other hand during activities, we match perfectly. Spontanious, adventurous. Daytrip to the beach, walks in the rain, swimming and endless things. But I am really missing the bonding or spiritual connection. Especially after our fights I need to come to some consent. Never having received any usefull information from her, at least giving in and admitting her mistakes, not just pointing out mine, I have to realise, that this is not one for me. My head tells me leave but my heart is very heavy. Sorry

This is actually the first time that i heard that aquarius and sagittarius are not real soulmates too.I am a sag girl and im deeepplyyy in love with this aquarius guy. He has everything that i read in an aquarius personality but i just still feel like i need to know more, and i think thats what keeps me going.It is sooo not true that were traditional! I’m an Aquarius woman and i totally agree with what Becky had to say for aqu/sag. I’m dating a sag and do feel like we have no emotional connection, just physical. However, i’m rather needy and want that emotional connection. Is it anyway possible to get that emotional connection?

I find some of this to be very true but conversely, there are certainly aspects to it that are completely opposed to my experiences.
I’m an Aquagirl and I’ve never had better sex than I’ve had with Sags. It’s ironic because what makes it so good is not necessarily technique or feisty moves but the way they can just look at you like they’re staring straight into your soul HOWEVER, these are the same men that end up being very promiscuous, not always faithful and do really frivolous and sometimes childish things for attention. I’m always drawn to this sign because at first, I’m fascinated with their taste for adventure and spontaneity but those traits all too quickly undress themselves, revealing a person whose terrified to commit and insultingly averse to staying in one place for any more than a couple of months. Also, after a time they seem like they’re missing a bigger picture and only in it for a self-centered joy ride. I’d rather be alone than have to deal with that on a weekly basis. Blech

I’m a sagittarius and he’s an aquarius, and the sighn specific traits are actually reversed in us, and I’m not sure if thats why, but eight and ahalf years later we are doing great, we have one of the most understanding, strong relationships out there!
That being said, the first four years where heell!! We put alot of time and energy into finding a good flow that now is worth every tear, and fight that we went through to get here.

Not that I don’t completely love him but I would have been a little more prepared. There is no mental connection and he is completely self absorbed. Totally traditional in bed by my standards but don’t tell him that. The sex was great at first but is now pretty boring. He is definitely a snob and I hate when he tries to talk about other people like he doesn’t do the same thing. He is very childish and having a conversation with him is like getting a double root canal. hi there! I am a Sagittarius woman and he is an Aquarius man.we have been together for some months and before we met, he sent me emails everyday and then we started talking on the phone for hours. sometimes we talk for hours till the next morning and he almost drove 12 hrs to see me but i was scared of him driving too far. Why thank u what more can I say… I met a wonderful guy going back 3 months ago now after about 30 or so dates things are taking a turn whenever were together its like the world stops and it’s all about us then just a quickly as this feeling occurs it leaves when I say goodbye then life returns to normal…. I find this feeling so very strange so that is why I went looking for answers. I am an aquarious and he a sadg.. Wow, first and foremost I really enjoy reading the posts on this site. I am an AQUARIUS FEMALE and I have been involved with a SAGGITARIUS MAN id say a couple of months. and its quite funny I just found out he was a sagg and he asked what my sign was and when i told him he said “ohhhhhh wow”. I asked the meaning for that response, and he said as long as im not like his “childs mother its all good”. I started to laugh because we aquarius are all different. But so far I enjoy his time and he enjoys mine. He is quite affectionate being he is the quiet type. Is there a difference between the compatibility of an Aquarius and Sagittarius and the compatibility of an Aquarius born under the Capricorn/Aquarius cusp and a Sagittarius born under the Scorpio/Sagittarius cusp? Our Sun’s sextile each others a lot more clearly.
My Moon and Mars are in Sagittarius and a lot of the time I feel I relate more to the sign at a deeper level. I’m a lot more warm and outgoing, optimistic and blunt than most other Aquarius, I am fluent in three languages (which I heard Sagittarius moon are skilled at language learning), and I have visited four continents, five countries and over twenty six cities now because of my love for traveling.
My potential soon-hope-to-be boyfriend has his moon under Libra, and we share the same Libra Ascendant, Capricorn Venus and every other sign passed our Mars signs. His Mars is in Scorpio. We have so many similar tastes and interests that I can’t imagine finding a better match than him, especially since he wishes to be committed as deeply as I do even though we are young. Ironically, he is a Republican while I am a Democrat. But I think that keeps a sense of identity seperate from each others which helps in the long run I believe. I am sag woman. I met him on dec 24 2008. It was our miracle kiss and have good sex. My wish is maintain to be friendship/relationship love. It is important to my heart. I disagree with what you’ve said.
I have a theory that your match of aqua and sag is closer if its a sag male and aqua female.
But most of the other common ones saying its a good, if almost perfect match correct with me and this guy. Saggatarias (me) incredible flirt, indeed.. but traditional in bed.. i think i’d try anything atleast once.. sag’s are said to be fun in bed and will experiment. Also the point you made on sag’s wanting more commitment than aqua’s can give, i think i wont be able to commit as much as a should in a relationship.
Personally i think between sag female and aqua male all of the predictions saying its a good match are correct.

Sagittarius…. now here’s a man that can fill my cup. I disagree with just about everything becky said except for not having a spiritual connection. In time, its likley we can develope it. It seems to me this relationship gets better with time. That is comforting. It feels like we’re always moving upward slowly. My mother is an Aqua woman and my father a Sag male and they have been married for over 30 yrs. Even if they aren’t as romantic as they were when they were young, they still are best friends and adore each others company. Let me make one thing completely clear to this so called “compatibility” between the Sagittarius and Aquarius Zodiac signs. Some of what you say is true, however not indefinately. However, it was not the Aquarius straying from the relationship, however the Sagittarius. I think you have this completely mixed up. I have been doing Zodiac and Astrology and Love Readings for the past 10 years or so, plus have been studying up on these since I was even younger. I have hardly ever been wrong and I believe you need to do some more studying. And by the way, I’m an Aquarius and my soul mate is a Sagittarius. Everyone’s experience with different Zodiac’s are different that anothers, it also depends on the date of birth, time, either male or female,and nuturing environment to decide as well. The Zodiac is very diffucult to be absolutely 100% correct. Nice effort.

well im an aquarius girl and i was engaged to a saggitarius. We had a rocky road relationship. I was trying to quit smoking and he wasnt much support to me, i just needed a little push but he was realy stuck on his video games, i love video games but come on! he was very romantic, physically attentive, and then one day it just stopped. I bought him roses when he cut his face open and didnt even get a thank you. I was always searching for some thing about him that would varify that he actaully wanted to be around me. He wasnt motivated about his life unless he was stoned. I feel really sorry for him now, as we broke up. He cheated on me with his bestfriend while i was on a trip and told me i should be ashamed of myself. I still repsect him, but its mostly out of sympathy. I do believe i pushed him away by wanting to know what “us” meant to him. I think we were great together, except i couldnt do the stay home all day and play video games thing, i like to do things with friends and family, or even if im alone i like to get out of the house, unless its my house. nothing new here with the experience sharing XD all of which i agree with but i was with an aquarius and we clicked soo well he would say “its as if we’re reading eachothers minds at times”
but we had rapid on’s and off’s as well and one day he decided to leave me because i was frustrating him and he mentally drained me this compatibility can work..just needs work……. im thinking about taking

I”m aquarius and really like Sag men because they let you know what they think. You always know that they want you and where you stand with them. The Sag’s I know are sensual. creative, intellectual, and fun to be around. I get a strange feeling of power after being with a Sag, some kind of energy boost! They know how to make you feel good and keep you smiling
