Thanks for bringing up this topic! I'm planning to be a teacher. When I was a child, the monotony of school and rigid rules were almost unbearable for me. As a result, I want to make the classroom more fun and interesting when I'm a teacher; make it less suffocating. But I just realized, from reading this, that not all kids are going to be like I was.... some of them might enjoy structure and predictability, maybe even need it. Thank you for making me stop and think about this issue.

I remember reading that the Ox and the Rat are Soul Mates!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But they are probably too young to go there so there will probably be big differences! I remember I had a split class when I was 6 years old ( 2nd graders and 3rd graders!) the teacher obvious to me, liked the 3rd graders more :_( which I understand now she was probably in trine with them being as she only wanted to participate them and talk with them and their parents more, but now i understand this natural tendency!

Hi Becky,
Just can't get enough of your website.
You know, as an Ox person I can say that we love the Rats, because we just admire their meticulous ways of going after what they want. We enjoy their sense of humour and if they need help, how to say no?
I have a Rat friend who plays in a band and his bass guitar got stolen, so, he had a gig but no bass to play. He came to my house asking me for my bass guitar (you know, an instrument is something very particular and isn't something to borrow to anyone). So he looked at me with those smart squashy eyes and said: "I have a gig this thursday, man. I know you love your instruments man, but you know what happened to me last week. I loved my bass and the only person who I know that has good taste for instruments is you and I love your bass too. Can you borrow it for me?". I started laughing because I was just wondering how much speech rehearsal he went through before asking me, and of course, he got my bass. On saturday I had my bass back with a bottle of wine and then he said "Man, that was quite a night!!! Part of your talent was in me, was a beautiful gig!!!Thanks, etc, etc"
You know, he is the typical rat, preparing the territory for the next time, but he is my best friend ever. For me, watching his tricky ways is pure fun, that's why the Ox didn't mind to carry the Rat on his back, they worth the fun.
You have the best astrology website in the net. I just feel like writing and writing (as pisces-ox people do). Looks very sincere. Wish you the best!!!

According to the myth of the Chinese zodiac the rat reaches heaven first on the oxen's shoulders but the Ox is emotionally attached to the Rat so he does not seek revenge. Between those two the Rat should reach success first but the Ox is a great power. I love astrology!!!!

In which case, surely you would be seeing a cyclical pattern of grade varitions, rather than 25 years of straight improvement like has been seen in A-levels in the UK. A good set of statistics that can be clearly show this can be found at: http://safle.org/wordpress/category/a-levels/
Admittedly, this only goes back to '82, so only covers 25 of the full 60 year cycle, but does cover more than 2 cycles of the Earthly Branches, so some sort of pattern should surely be apparent from this?
