My Randomness
I am Rebecca, Becky and variations thereof. I am now 30, and for some reason I always assumed that when one reached this grand old age we would be somewhat more mature and responsible and basically grown up, but apparently not. Never mind, perhaps when I am 40? But knowing my chart like I do I think I am stuck with my childlike soul! I live in the U.K which is great but a little grey and drizzly. I have two wonderful children who never cease to amaze me with their brilliance; I really do believe that the world through a child’s eyes is something very special and that it is such a shame we have to forget! I am also the proud owner of an amazing fiancé to whom I owe so very much and without whom I would be going round in circles never quite getting anywhere. We live in a mad house normally, organization isn’t a priority, in our home it’s something that happens every now and then dispersing gradually until normal chaos is once again resumed!So you can appreciate the madness which is my life. I shall let you know the star signs which live in under my roof. Amber who is 11 is a Sagittarius and was born in the Chinese year of the Rat, Jade who is 8 is an Aquarius and was born in the year of the Rabbit, and Duane, who is 34, is also an Aquarius and was born in the year of the Tiger! Then of-course there is me. I am a Gemini, and was born in the Chinese year of the Horse. So there we have it. A mad house? Yes, but a very happy one.Why Astrology?I have loved astrology now for 16 years in fact I couldn’t think of my life without it. I can still remember the start of it all. I was 8 and my best friend had just read a magazine and told me she was a Gemini which was great, but that I was not and that wasn’t great at all as Gemini’s are obviously the best. I felt rather insulted by this and chose to seek out the truth. I did and discovered that I too was a great and brilliant Gemini! Since then I have bored people endlessly with my observations and opinions. During my time spent at college I got into trouble more than once for asking my tutor his sun sign, when I really should have been replying to a question I was asked 5 minutes before hand!! I am not one to be taken in by things either, in fact I am a skeptic until I am proved otherwise and only love Astrology so much as I can see the influences of the planets right before my very eyes. Astrology has helped me to understand myself like never before and especially helped me to become aware of my less desirable traits as well as helping me enhance the better ones! When I meet new people I’m always wondering how long I will have to wait until I can ask them their signs!! It is a fascinating subject and I have a deep interest in not only western astrology but the Chinese Zodiac also, which some people can find annoying when I not only ask which star sign they are but which year they were born too!!! So as not to offend I now ask if they know their Chinese sign BEFORE asking their age.I hope you will enjoy the time you spend on my site.
